We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Travis, our host was wonderful in promptly responding to us and answering any questions we had once we were at the house and prior to our arrival. The house was in a great location to our trip destinations. We love that the house was very accommodating to our family of nine. We also love that it provided linens, towels, and soaps for sink, dishwasher and laundry. our children loved the game room downstairs and the TV projector for movies. The Christmas tree in the living room was a great added Touch for this time of year. The safe lock system for entry was wonderful too for coming and going..

Stayed for a trip to the Ark and the Cincinnati Zoo. Perfect location. Had a 2 year old and 4 year old and they had the best time! Loved the bunk beds and the outdoor fenced play area. If I was trying to find something wrong with the place it would be that the upstairs bathroom needs a little cosmetic repairs. Nothing that is a deal breaker. Would stay here again

Home was exactly as pictured. Everyone had a great time. The access to the highway was easy but there was no noise from the highway. The littles loved the outside playset and all the toys inside.

This was a family stay haven! It had everything we needed for our three kids without even having to bring extra things from home which made packing way easier. The neighborhood was nice and quiet, close to the highway so it made it easy to get to our destinations. Would highly recommend this place for anyone looking in this area!

Great property! Very Clean. Nice amenities.

Wonderful property. Toys for the kids. Plenty of tv’s for movie nights. Games and books on site. Very very clean. Outdoor space is great. Kitchen has everything you need just being food and drinks! AC runs a little warm but owners have provided supplemental window units to accommodate during your stay. The ping pong table wasn’t as usable due to the after market net not fitting right but take off the top and voila air hockey. We enjoyed playing that as a group. We did not get a chance to use the kayaks but our littlest enjoyed the outdoor playset. We liked being able to see the lake from the decks and patio. Excellent host was in contact with us throughout via text but not overly so as not to interfere with our stay, just to check on how things were and answer any possible questions. Definitely recommend.

Perfect location for visiting the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. The house had everything we could’ve asked for. The kids toys, arcade game and air hockey table were a huge bonus to keep my kiddos entertained in the evening. Travis was a great host!!

We loved our stay…As a BKA (below the knee amputation) and use my wheelchair about 50% of the time I was very comfortable. The upstairs is wheelchair friendly along with the bathrooms (we have stayed in a few places where is not easy & dangerous). Very comfortable, nice and clean. Has something to do for all ages. Very child friendly. 100% would stay there again.

Great family spot!

We had a family adventure trip with three generations to Kentucky and this was an excellent house. The kids are 5-9 in age and loved the projector screen tv downstairs, toys, air hockey table, and backyard space! Their biggest disappointment is we weren't at the house enough . We had both sets of grandparents with us and everyone loved the space (only complaint was the stairs were slightly steep so watch the littles and the elders). The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had most everything we needed. And there was a store a block away so it was easy to pick up any last minute items. We had a day at the Ark Encounter, a day at the Creation museum (with lunch in Cincinnati), and a day in Louisville and this house was a reasonable distance to all. Highly recommend for families. Many accommodations for littles. We didn't need it but there was even changing table, bassinet/crib, and bumbo seat for babies. A few questions came up over the week and the caretaker was quick to respond. General wear in the house but all was really clean. Great spot for families with kids and multigenerational groups!

Great place for families

This was a fun property to stay with kids of all ages. We had fun playing on the water, swingset (a little dated), game room, and just hanging out! Great location to travel to some main attractions such as The Ark Encounter and The Creation Museum. We also made a day out of visiting the Cincinnati Zoo, all super close. We had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy. Check-in was easy. Communication was great. The stairs down to the game room and laundry room are pretty steep. If we found ourselves in this area again, we would not hesitate to stay here.

Perfect for us

Came from the west coast to visit the Ark. The house, yard, kayaks, games, toys, books, the stocked kitchen and readily available snacks and coffee were absolutely great. Travis was very responsive and our trip was fantastic.

Perfect Location

Our stay was exactly what we expected. Communication was top notch. The location to our planned activities was perfect. The house was clean, well maintained. It has everything we needed. The kids absolutely love the game in the basement. The beds were comfortable. With 4 adults and 4 kids, everyone had their own space. Would definitely stay again when in the area.

Exploring Kentucky

Our first trip to KY, and this was a perfect location to stay after visiting the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. Everything was in close proximity. The Ark was about a 15 minute drive. Travis was an excellent host! Stocked us up with Kcup coffee and tea, as well as snacks for breakfast and on the go. The kids enjoyed the toys, air hockey table, and kayaking! This is a great place for families with children.

Lake House Rental

Property was in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Beautiful lake view from deck. We enjoyed our stay. Host communicated with us before and during our stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Short but Fun Trip

We took a short trip with our kids and my folks and sister to see the Ark during our Fall Break. The kids really enjoyed the house and all the amenities- air hockey and watching movies with the projector were their favorites. There was plenty of space for everyone. The downstairs is almost its own little apartment with a fridge, table, living room, bedroom, and bathroom. I did wish the downstairs bathroom had a shower, but it wasn’t that big of a deal. We fished the first night and my husband and daughter both caught decent sized ones! It’s really close to the ark, maybe 15 mins? For some reason, I thought this house was going to be in the country. Maybe because of the little lake/pond? It is actually in a subdivision, which was fine, I was just surprised! The place was super clean and the kitchen had all the essentials- except for a pizza cutter! I would say this is a great place for families, especially with kiddos. Oh, the beds were super comfy too- and all kings!

Very thoughtful host

The property was quite nice with alot of thought put in by the host with games, activities, and toys available for kids and families to do while there. They also included free coffee, and snacks. The pond out back is a bit questionable and the suburb the house is located in was crowded but overall good experience.

Home base away from home

We needed a home for three couples, and this was a good fit. It had three king-size beds and three bathrooms. The home had central air (and heat) with additional window units in two rooms (with ceiling fans) and a portable unit in the living room —a must when traveling with people who want it hotter or colder than you like. The home was in a neighborhood with houses very close, but we didn't hear much noise from those around us (a dog barking, garbage truck, train horns - like at home). The lake proved a good place for kayaking (and it seems to have plenty of fish). For those who need to know, the toilet seats are round, it is cooler in the basement than on the main level, and there are steps on the front stoop and going down to the basement. The best part was the mattresses—foam, soft, and oh-so-comfortable. These were some of the best beds we've encountered in our travels. The home is close to tourist areas (north and south) and near enough to the airport. All told this is a good home in a convenient location for a home base when hitting the tourist spots south of and in Cincinnati.

Clean, clutter-free home with excellent host!

Our family traveled to this area to visit the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter and were able to enjoy our time together in this spacious, clean home. Instructions were clear and expectations were met. We appreciated the space to spread out and the king sized beds! Kitchen was nice and made cooking super simple. Would highly recommend!
