Amazing Oceanview! Wailea Ekolu 1BR/2BA - Walk to Golf!

Lesli's luxury Wailea Ekolu Village Condominium is a 900-square-foot, one bedroom, two bath, oceanview condo, occupying the ground floor of a two-story building. Ekolu 107 accommodates up to four adults comfortably. It is fully-appointed and includes phone, radio/iPod dock, cable TV, WiFi, and personal touches for your enjoyment and convenience.

There is a full kitchen with stove, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, dishes, and utensils. Small appliances such as coffeemaker, toaster, blender, hair dryer, and iron/ironing board are also provided. Towels, linens, and beach towels are included.

Lesli's guests also have access to beach chairs, picnic coolers, a few board games, and lots of novels. The unit has two private lanais (patios) with oceanviews, two full baths, and a washer/dryer. The master bedroom has a California King-size bed and the living room incorporates a daybed with a trundle (both are twin-size). The condominium is cooled by your choice of ceiling fans, tropical breezes, or air conditioning.

This condominium is privately owned and cared for. Lesli is able to offer very attractive rates since she does not use a rental agency. In addition, she has her friend, Natalie, here on the island to help you with your immediate needs, check in/out cleaning, and any maintenance during your stay. The condominium is clean when you arrive and it is cleaned again when you leave.

The Ekolu Village has barbecue areas in a garden setting overlooking the golf course and ocean, and two swimming pools. The building is two-stories (low rise). The condo is a 15-minute walk (about 1500 feet) from the beach; but most people drive their car as there is free public parking at the beaches. Wailea has five beautiful beaches along a mile and a half of coastline!

Lesli, along with her husband, son, and daughter, travel from California to stay in her condominium a couple times a year and consider it their second home.

priced right but will pay more for comfort in next stay

extremely noisy due to proximity to shops below and adjacent highway. lack of indoor dinning table and poor seating arrangement in living room. only bar stools to sit on next to kitchen which were extremely uncomfortable, bedroom and living room dark,poor lighting. no chairs in bedroom. air conditioners didn't work, outstanding views,nice patio.

Beautiful location and property

We love the Wailea area and loved this location as it’s an easy walk down to the waterfront and has beautiful sunset views. The condo was clean, well equipped and nicely setup for our family of four.

Great stay!

The property has an incredible view from the lanai, family room and kitchen. It was very clean and the owner was always very responsive. We truly enjoyed our 8-day stay and will consider it again when we come back. Highly recommend to everyone!

Maui vacation

The flowers off the patio were absolutely beautiful and provided a lot of privacy. The condo was very clean and there was plenty of space for my sister and I. The beach chairs, umbrella and beach towels were a plus. The washer/dryer was a bonus. The complex was quiet as a whole but we could hear traffic. We had issues with the microwave. Sometimes worked and sometimes didn’t. Maybe it was us. I’m a coffee drinker and my sister drinks tea so providing both was great but found the coffee pot a little small. Didn’t find any shampoo/conditioner products but maybe you don’t provide. I think the code for swimming pools wasn’t provided that I could find. We had a friend in another unit so got code from her. You have a beautiful place and it is centrally located to a lot of amenities. Alane DeVilla

First trip to Maui

This property is clean, quiet and very comfortable. The view of the ocean is very good and only a short walk to the beach. I did not use the village pool but it looked very inviting. I will definitely request to stay here again on my next trip to Maui.

We rented three units at Ekolu for a family gathering. This unit has lovely quilts on the walls and is very comfortable. The owner was responsive to questions.

Close to excellent restaurants, pools, beaches and shopping in beautiful Wailea. Condo was perfect for our vacation and Lesli was an amazing host. She has equipped her home with everything that you would need on a vacation. She responded quickly when there were any issues.

Perfect accommodations

We absolutely loved our stay here. It was so peaceful, quiet, and private. The condo was nicely decorated with a welcome, Hawaiian flare. We loved everything about it and hope to stay here again next year.

Nice condo

The condominium is in a wonderful location walk to the coffee shop and breakfast ,walked to Golf and can walk straight down to the shops in Wailea. Now in saying that this condominium is very very hard to find if you get in late. It is best( not to use your GPS ) and follow the written instructions. GPS will not take you to this particular condominium .

Great host, great property, great neighborhood

Stayed in multiple Wailea Ekolu places over the years. This one is awesome too. Great beaches and shopping very close. Best place to stay in Maui.

Do not rent heavy construction next door

Major construction units next door heavy machinery like Jack hammers running 2 to 6 hours each day. Would be a wonderful place without the construction.

Good location

Enjoyed our stay in Wailea Ekolu. Condo was perfect for two. Disappointed that the pool closest to our condo was under going maintenance as we were not notified of this but we were able to use the other pool that was farther away. Close to beaches, shops and restaurants.

Nice quiet location with beautiful views of the ocean and Molokini. Bed was hard -- a foam memory pad may be all that is needed to make it perfect.

Little Slice of Paradise in Wailea

We truly enjoyed our stay! In fact, this condo exceeded our expectations. The view from the lanai is just spectacular - it was always fun to enjoy our early morning coffees and sunset cocktails there. The condo was clean and well appointed and the owner’s artwork added such a nice touch. We were so happy to call this home for our 10 night stay! The owner was also super responsive before and during our stay, which was much appreciated. We visit Maui at least once a year and hope to come back to this condo!

Great location and property

My husband and I came to Maui for the first time to celebrate our babymoon and had a great time at Lesli’s. The proximity to the great Kihei and Wailea beaches was exactly what we were looking for and the lanai was perfect for enjoying morning coffee and breakfast. Huge closet in bedroom was great, although it might be helpful to have a dresser or more shelves for non hanging clothes.

The place to enjoy life

The condo is very well situated in literally less than 5 minutes walk from shops and restaurants at Wailea. Great view from the living room/lanai helps you forget about everything but the beauty of the nature. The condo is also well designed as everything is handy and comfortable. We were very happy here.

Aloha! My name is Lesli Brodbeck; to my hula sisters I am Maluhia (actually Maluhia'oke'ahi'ahi, or 'Peaceful Evening'). Together with my husband Kelly I own Ekolu 107. Although I currently live in Santa Barbara, I continue to dance Hula with my local halau and paddle with the Santa Barbara Outrigger Canoe Club. In his free time my husband designs gardens, explores photograpy, and enjoys scuba diving. When I'm not dancing, paddling, or busy with an art project I love to visit our two adult children in the Bay Area. Our family is completed by 2 kitties ( Polo & Hiwakea Kiko), a guinea pig (Baxter) and a pond full of koi.

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

My family moved to Maui in the 1970's, when there was only one stoplight on the island. I grew up visiting them, talking story and learning about their condo rentals. I earned pocket money during summer vacations by 'cleaning condo'. During the time that my family lived in Wailea I fell in love with Ekolu Village. I remember my Auntie telling time by the boats heading to Molokini and the United Airlines flights overhead ('It must be 11:15, that's the flight from San Francisco'). I dreamed that someday I would own my own Ekolu condo and follow in their footsteps. And now Ekolu 107 is my home away from home!

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

When my family and I stay at Ekolu 107 we live local. I shop the farmer's markets and my husband shops the local nursery. We even went to Kihei Ace Hardware on our 20th anniversary! We spend as much time as possible with my family Upcountry. The kids love exploring the rainforest and diving into local lava pools. My husband and I enjoy a nice glass of wine and talking story with the adults. For special outings we go zip lining on Haleakala and snorkeling at La Perouse Bay. I'm just as happy to shop the container stores (local entrepreneurs travel to Indonesia, load a shipping container with items, & open their warehouse doors when the container arrives on Maui) with my cousin Liz or spend a leisurely morning at Maui Friends of the Library in Puunene (suggested donation: 10 cents per book). In the evenings you may find me at line dancing or a ballroom dance class with Liz, or we may go as a family to see Cousin Jimmy drumming with one of his bands (Uncle Dirty, Haiku Hillbillies, Benoit Jazz Works). There is so much to do on Maui and I never seem to have time for it all!
