The apartment was what I had expected and any questions were answered immediately. Restaurants , the ocean and other sites were easily accessed from the location.

Croz and nice place

Small and nice place. It is best for a couple, but fine with 3 adults. Love the location, which is close to Anthony's Seafood Restaurant, a restaurant the local people eat

My wife and I stayed in this little unit (that I have unofficially nicknamed “The NOOK”) for one week in mid-September, 2026. We grew up on Aquidnek Island and visit regularly from Southern California. I am 70; my wife is 68; we’re fit, active, and very familiar with all that Newport offers. The Nook is a small, very basic, perfectly located home base for visiting Newport. At first sight, it is the bare-bones approach to virtually everything you will need. In a peculiar way, this place starts to grow on you on Day 1 and is lovable in a funny kinda way by Day 2. It has a big common room that includes a tiny kitchen with a small (not tiny) very workable refrigerator, a small (very workable) oven and stove, with too few pans if you plan to cook in all week, with eating utensils that are too basic, too old, and too few (but also workable), barely enough plates at only three, but happily four wine glasses because you are on vacation. One genuinely peculiar aspect of the unit is the small bathroom’s big stand-up shower. To navigate yourself into the two-shower-head shower, think about how one traverses a narrow church pew in a 100-year-old New England church: three sideward shuffles with your back against a wall, and you’ll be in and getting wet - and by the time you’ve taken two showers, you’ll have a smirk on your face and a giggle in your head because, now, getting into the shower is a small, quirky reminder that you are not at home or in your own bathroom. Enjoy, We did.

Perfect, just what we needed

It was a cozy one bedroom that was part of a house. The house and neighborhood were quiet. The place was clean and the bed was nice and comfy. It was just what we needed. We would stay here again.

Long weekend getaway

Vrbo as described. Clean, open living/dining area with separate comfortable queen bed. Location is close to beaches (Second Beach is nice) and short drive to Newport Wharf area. Went to a Newport Gulls game which was a fun night out! So much to do in this area. Would stay again!

Newport jazz

Place was very clean and had everything you could want. Location was close to town and jazz festival. Price was high, but what you would expect during the festival. Great communication with owner!

Great place - close to everything

We had a fantastic stay at this VRBO in Middletown, RI! The location was perfect—close to everything we wanted to do, from beaches to restaurants and attractions. The house itself was immaculate and well-kept, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The owners clearly take pride in maintaining the property, as it was spotlessly clean and well-appointed. Communication with the hosts was easy and they were very accommodating. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a convenient and cozy getaway in Middletown!

Inexpensive and comfortable

Bed was comfy and place was clean. We didn't use any of the kitchen other than the coffee pot. Onsite washer dyer which would have been handy if we were beaching it.

Conveniently located

Overall, our stay was great. The location is really convenient and easy to navigate. The property manager was fantastic!!! Always available when needed and even came into our apartment to fix a dying smoke detector. The only criticisms we have was the water temperature was a little wonky. It would rapidly go from warm to cold or scalding. Also, there was a lot of hair that was not ours on the couch. I'm not grossed out by hair, it just could have been better. Overall, fantastic place!
