Check in easy once I received info, house was as pictured, but bring your own necessities..dish soap, paper towels, etc. Guest's should be more vigilant about visiting someone elses home. Front porch smelled of dog feces. Be sure to follow rules of parking if more than 2 vehicles and 20 per vehicle for length of stay...which was crazy for my crew because we showed up at different times. Plenty of gathering space inside and out.....might suggest gas grill..we prefer to cook instead of the expense of eating out everynight..Overall, it was a great place to stay.

House was great in space but inside needs work. The beds in the rooms were worn as well as the game room. There was a projector in the game room with nothing to connect with. The stair case Bannister and railing was a little loose. We paid for the pool to be heated and it never got hot, save yourself the trouble. Theres no mention of 20 resort fee that the community club house charges per car that needs to stay overnight to park. The communication is poor and response time slow. First time renting through Vrbo think I'll stick with the other platform.

Not enough toilet paper, no dish soap, pool was cold, hot tub was not hot at all. Rat drops in certain areas. Not enough garbage bags. Rat ate through a bag. Furniture had a lot of wear and tear.

For the most part the stay was great but just a few cleaning hiccups and not a lot of communication from the host. The house wasn't as clean as it should have been.

The owerall experience was good. The furniture on the veranda could be better. One of the chair on the veranda was broken and dangerous. Should have been removed before we came. We got introuble with the garbage bin.

Emerald Island Resort - Home with 6 bedrooms and plenty of space to move around

We stayed for 2 weeks. March 1st to March 15th. The home we stayed in met all of our expectations. Spacious, clean, well furnished and very home like. Patio / pool area met our outdoor life style. Want to thank the owner for allowing us to stay, and the property manager as well for meeting some of our requests, such as heating the pool. The only thing I would recommend is to wash the patio maybe weekly just to keep it a little more beautiful. Overall, our party of 6 adults and 2 grand children loved it immensely, and would recommend this property to everyone. It was relaxing and conveniently located to things we wanted to do. Thank you again.

Thanksgiving Vacation

My family and I truly enjoyed the property. It was very clean and heating the pool did make a difference amd allowed us to rnjoy it more. Love that it also had a safety net and the sliding door look was not accessible for a small child to open. The property manager was very professional amd returned my messages within 48hrs. I do reccommend this homr amd I hope torent it out again.

REALLY BAD COMMUNICATION

Good location, clean property, quite neighborhood but the communication with the management is basicly nonexistence. I message them like 5 time just to get the check in information after that no more answers.They charge you 30 per day if you want heated pool and you have to pay an extra 20 at the entrance to get a gate pass.

Ok House but in desperate need of some update

The house is ok but beds and bathrooms are horrible and so are all bedding and towels. Old and used. The pool area is also in desperate need of some love and care. We stayed one month and saw the pool guy onceā€¦ The game room/garrage was not used at all do to bad furniture and cockroach problem's. If we opened that door they got in the house. All appliances were in a very good shape.

Great cozy home

The home was great. Exactly as advertised. Very spacious. The communication with the host was okay. The check in did go very well. I did expect for the home to have enough towels since the home has 6 bedrooms. There wasnā€™t enough towels for use. The garbage as well was extremely full on our check in. We had to leave a box with garbage inside the home since the garbage tin was full. During our whole stay we kept having to take the garbage to the main office. Also the rental didnā€™t specify there was a fee per car for parking in the home overnight. Which is 20 per car. Also the resort doesnā€™t allow more than 6 cars on the property so if your from out of town and family is visiting you at your rental property please keep in mind 6 cars are only allowed on the rental property. Other than that i loved the home. Thank you for allowing us to rent your property

We will never book this place again. Pictures literally do not even show the lack of care in this house. Walls filthy. Pool filthy. Entry way filthy. Garage damaged. Bathrooms dirty, old, and moldy. Kitchen supplies (which anre minimal) are worn and look so used. Pool deck had roaches, eyelashes, and a skeleton lizard just chilling. We had to have someone come in and clean the pool area literally minutes before our family arrived and it was still disgusting and that was the ONLY thing that these people responded to. If you plan on entertainment-not an option. Missing an 8ball for billiards, the chairs have ā€œleatherā€ peeling off of them, and there are no remotes for the ā€œmovie theaterā€. You also canā€™t expect air conditioning in there bc itā€™s in the garage. And donā€™t forget not to set it below 73 because otherwise you will get a ā€œhefty bill.ā€ Towels are scarce and old. Not enough for a family of 8 to shower. No pool toys or anything to do so kids were super bored with just the pool. The lack of communication is even worse. Even with complaints, we got minimal responses and they are horrible at responding to needs. I would never recommend this place for anyone visiting the area as I am a local and have experienced literally a motel that was better than this place. The pics on here are false.

Property management issues

We never received the check in directions so had to wait outside the house for 15 mins after calling and speaking with the property management. We paid an extra $60 to have the hot tub heated and it was notā€¦tried to call no answer texted the pm and they said they would send someone out never didā€¦still waiting on a response about my refund. The outside trash can was completely full so unable to put trash in it. The house had ants upstairsā€¦.overall the house is good but the property management is the problem. Would never stay again

Firstly the good! Great location within 5/7 miles to disney. 3 miles to a super walmart and every other store that goes with a walmart. House is a great size, we had our family of 5 and my mum and it was perfect. Kids all got their own room and my mum had a bathroom in her room. We always stay on the lower floors in the master king. Plenty of hot water when you turn on showers and AC worked great. This development is over 20 years old and the houses in here show their age sadly. Think builders grade everything. This property still has a lot of carpet in it that needs removing. Bathrooms are clean but old. Nowhere near enough towels for a rental this size. Miss match of towels for beach days and then a set of new white towels which i wanna say had 12 towels. Sounds a lot but each bathroom needed a towel or two and there wasn't enough. Previous people complained of this issue it's a shame homeowners don't fix such cheap issues. Absolutely zero to none utensils in the home, not enough for a seating of 4 let alone how many this house can hold.Goes to cooking utensils also. Biggest issue we had was the pool heat and the terrible communication with the home owner. Pretty much the pool heat doesn't work or the home owner is turning it off remotely at night, every morning the pool was cold as ice and the hot tub never got more than lukewarm, my daughter is disabled and we needed that pool heated for her use. Ruined her vacation, and put a lot of stress on us.

As advertise very pretty place, very roomy and plenty of room for parking. When you arrive, have your dishwasher pods, laundry soap, toilet paper, ready because there is not enough for a family for a one day stay so if youā€™re staying longer, make sure to pack these items with you.
