We are private owners of this comfortable home in Emerald Island Resort, Kissimmee, the perfect base for your Orlando holiday. The Resort provides everything you need for a relaxing, trouble free stay. It is a secure, gated community in a beautiful setting of natural woodland and lakes, away from the busy roads of Kissimmee. In the clubhouse, you will find a gymnasium for the energetic and many other facilities within the resort. The property is maintained by professional property managers who are available 24 hours a day to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

Five Bedroom Property Amenities:
This luxuriously appointed private home comes complete with upgrade furnishings for all your home comforts. Ideal for larger families or groups of up to eleven. You will appreciate the fully equipped kitchen and air conditioning throughout, and there is a large open plan living and two dining areas, two en-suite bathrooms plus family bathroom, a private pool and spa, and games room. Internet connection is available at no extra cost

We had a great time. The house was clean and had what we needed. The location was excellent for our trips to Disney and universal studios. It was about 15 minutes to all the Disney parks and about 30 to universal. I would stay here again.

Beautiful villa

What an amazing two weeks we have had in this lovey Villa. Everything we needed to make our stay even more enjoyable. Beds are amazing and the pool area was lovely. Thankyou for our wonderful stay x

A nice property but.....

Lovely well kept gated area. The property itself I would say was in need of updating, but value for money as it is. Unfortunately a few things went wrong during our stay. We had cockroaches when we arrived, which were reported and dealt with quickly, but there were still some around as we left, not very pleasant. The dishwasher was broken and replaced halfway through the stay, and the pool heater was also broken and replaced two days before we left. The communication with the owner was very good, and also the management company and they did their best to put things right.

2 week Disney holiday

We are a family of 7 adults and the villa was perfect for our stay. The location is excellent as it's only 10-15 minutes from the Disney parks. The resort feels very safe and is immaculate, as we commented on every time we drove through the secure gates. The villa itself has everything you need and the pool area was brilliant for our stay. We will definitely return.

Emerald Island Resort

This property is as advertised. Located in a lush, gated community with access to a fitness center, pool, hot tub, playground and put put golf. No more than 30 minutes from Disney attractions and 45 minutes from MCO airport. The only suggestion that I have is to provide more variety of pots and pans.

Nice stay

The house was beautiful and clean for most part. Windows were unlocked which was a concern. Suggest a baby gait for stairs. We had 2 toddlers fall down stairs and one who sustained bruised ribs and forhead. It was a constant battle trying to keep them and the infant from trying to go up them. The pool was nice but the "hot tub" didnt work. The toaster didnt work. There was no wash cloths or dish cloths. The air upstairs couldnt maintain. It was set on 72 but read 74-76, so it was a little uncomfortable up stairs. There was no stopper for the bathtub upstairs..and no wash cloths to plug the drain so it was difficult bathing the kids. It was nice there was a stroller avaiable for use. That was very much appreciated. The kids enjoyed the game tables in the garage. The girls were disappointed they couldnt watch cartoons on the tv in the room with the bunk beds. Very beautiful home.

Overall nice house but bad cleaning policy lead to issues

The house was nice and as described. A few days into our stay I noticed I had over 20 bug bites from head to ankle. After checking the beds we found bed bugs. I personally believe this is in part because of poor cleaning by the cleaning company and in part by owner. Owners checkout procedures required that the renter clean all bedding or get charged even more for extra cleaning fee. With 8 beds in the house that’s a lot of laundry to ask someone to do while on vacation and they leave you with laundry soap for one load.

Fantastic location to all the parks. Home from Disney World in 25 minutes at 9.30pm. Excellent communication with host. Its a beautiful gated community.

March Getaway

Excellent location relative to Disney and Golf Courses we wanted to play. Really used pool and hot tub. Only comment would be to add some plastic glasses, cups etc for pool deck as we ate outside the entire week. What cups are available are few and quite large, so some smaller ones would be needed, especially if we brought young children.

Overall good

Pros: Very clean, excellent pool/ hot tub, excellently stocked kitchen,easy to access key, large comfortable home, plenty of seating, better than normal appliances for a rental, great game room, washer and dryer work well, large fridge, quiet dishwasher, very secure and safe community, black out curtains were appreciated. Cons: master bedroom mattress was like sleeping in two potholes(badly needs to be replaced, we alerted owner and they said they’re working on it) other beds all good, keyless entry would’ve been easier(old school realtor key holder was sticky) but worked, coffee pot wasn’t automatic and could easily be left on all day accidentally and would be nice to have a programmable one, plus coffee pot drips terribly when pouring, garbage situation( trash can, book inside house and online checkin information was all worded differently and confusing). Otherwise minor issues. I would stay here again as long as the master mattress had been replaced. Thank you!

Good place to stay with heated pool

Very nice and clean home. We enjoyed the heated pool and lots of beach towels available for it at home. Good quiet neighborhood. Owners are easily reachable and very attentive. We had a great vacation with 10 people in the house.

Home for Family Christmas Reunion

We appreciated all the attention to comfort and convenience. The ample space was just right for our family of 9 offering quiet areas as well as play space in the garage. Really liked the pool area surrounded with greenery. This felt more cozy and private as we enjoy having our morning coffee outside in sleepware. Thank you. We look forward to visiting again.

Emerald Island Kissimmee

Excellent stay at Lena Bailham's property in Emerald Island, Kissimmee. Pictures can't do that home justice. We have stayed at Emerald Island several times previously, and we love the resort, but Lena's home is on another level. Great communication, very clear check-in/out process, and everything about the house was better than advertised. Extremely clean, pool/hot tub/water is crystal clear and very well kept, appliances are much nicer and higher quality than they need to be for a rental property. Great vacation experience. We hope to be back again very soon. Jim and Sharon, New Jersey

Unhappy in the end

Over all, access to the house was easy once I was able to get the access information from the owner. I didn't receive any emails ahead of time, but that may have been an issue with my email. The owner was quick to respond ensuring we were able to get into the house. The house we nice but the kitchen/pots/utensils all needed to be washed before use. Dishwasher was broken. There was what appeared to be mouse dropping in the pantry along with a dead cockroach. That may just be an unfortunate consequence of the area. We never saw any other pests. There are many rules that are not well posted that must be strictly followed.

Fantastic property in a brilliant location

We are just back from two weeks at this villa, it was spotlessly clean and a fantastic location. The Villa was huge with loads of bathrooms which is a bonus with the teenagers. Communication with the owner was brilliant, we had no trouble moving our dates by a day. The daily trash collection is brilliant and the washer and drier fab with the children. Literally ten minutes to Disney and a massive Walmart just minutes away. Couldn’t recommend this property enough. The gated security gives you that extra feeling of safety.

Communication was very good with home owners and the property management team was right on top of “issues” that needed addressing. For travelers coming in they did have beach towels on the property that can be used.

Great stay here

The house was perfect for our family of 10. We enjoyed the pool every day after Disney and Universal Studios. The neighborhood was nice. I would recommend this house

Family Vacation

This house met all our needs during our Florida vacation! The teenagers love the pool! The location is great in proximity to all the parks and not too far from both the Atlantic and Gulf beaches for some memorable day trips. Thank you for a great stay!

Great house & location

We were a very busy group of 3 families (5 adults, 3 teens) staying in Orlando for Cheerleading Worlds. This house had everything we needed, and had a really nice layout. We loved the hot tub and pool, and the backyard got plenty of sun! Super comfortable loungers and a table to eat outside was a bonus!There were plenty of pool towels and bath towels. This house is in a lovely gated neighbourhood and was close to all shops, Disney & ESPN. We didn't make it to the community pool, but we did play a couple of tennis matches. The owners were always available when needed. Thanks for a great stay!

Comfort of Home!!!

This was a very spacious home in a nice neighborhood. The pool and hot tub were a huge hit with the family. The mini golf at the clubhouse and the nature walk were a ton of fun.
