You rent this condo from VRBO and then you have to deal with VACASA as the rental company. We rented this Condo for a golf Trip from Thursday - Sunday and we had tee times each morning. Saturday morning we left the condo and found that our car was gone from the parking lot with our Golf clubs in it. Our car had been towed for not having a parking pass, Vacasa did not provide any parking pass or even mention it in communication. We had to move our AM tee time to the afternoon and cancel our afternoon tee time. I called Vacasa 3 times on Saturday and was told each time that someone from the Myrtle Beach office would call me. They never did. I had to track down the HOA President and she was kind enough to give me a parking pass so my car would not be towed again. It costs us 175.00 to get have the car released and 23.99 for a Lyft to get to the tow company for a total of 198.99. I asked Vacasa to be reimbursed for costs and how would they handle the fact that we had to miss a tee time b/c they did not provide a pass. They stated they approved a refund for 190.40 and anything else had been denied.I understand that mistakes happen, but own them and make it right with customers who no fault in trouble that was caused. I should not have to call 5 times and still not get a full refund for expenses incurred or a proper apology for messing up my vacation.

Loved the balcony, pool and that golf, shops and restaraunts were nearby. The only down sides were: 1) was check-in codes didnt work, which made it frustrating for our late check-in. 2) some areas, including shower, looked like it had not been cleaned and had to do this myself. 3) we only had 1 pool card in our room when it stated we would have 2, which made it a but of an inconvenience for 6 in our party. Overall, we enjoyed our time together in Myrtle Beach!

Gorgeous condo & amenities

Our family of 8 had an amazing family vacation and loved the spaciousness of this gorgeous condo! We had everything we needed, the place was so clean and comfortable. The pool was fun for the kids and adults who just wanted to sunbathe. Great location close to everything. We can’t wait to come back next year!

Very spacious

My family of 2 adults and 4 girls fit comfortably in here. I was glad that each bedroom had its own bathroom which was perfect for 5 females. I would like to have seen at least 4 wash clothes for each bathroom. Their were 6 of us (2 per room) so we needed 2 washcloths each. One for face/one for body. The suite was supposed to include 2 pool passes, mine only had 1 and it was not the one designated for that suite. The good thing was that we ended up not needing it for access duringour stay. 😁 it's a great place to stay and it has everything that you need.

Total Relaxation!

The unit had everything we needed and all appliances worked. The only down side was the cleaning crew did not clean all the toilets, mirrors, or dust all the furniture. I don't think paying guest should have to purchase cleaning supplies due to necessity. However, we had a great view, room for everyone, a bath in each bedroom which was great and enough dishes for everyone to eat. The best part for me was that it was very quiet, even when in our bedrooms you couldn't hear what was going on in the rest of the unit, not even on the balcony when everyone was laughing; you couldn't hear the noise on the inside; that was great! I've already recommended Vacasa to friends due to their very responsive customer service team!

Rough start

When we arrived, the key pad battery was dead. Communication was done through text initially, We were told that there shoud be a lock box with a key, and there was not one. Check in time was 4p. We arrived at 6p and could not get into the home until someone delivered 2 keys at 9pm. The next day, the key pad was fixed. We were offered compensation for our first night, but have yet to receive any further communication about this (after reaching back out). If we had not have had that experience, it would have been a wonderful trip. The rooms fit our family of 10, and it was in a great location. There is a draw bridge that takes about 20 mins to sit through and you have to go over it to get to the main roads, so plan for that when going out. Also, you only get 2 parking passes

The condo was in an ideal location--next to the marina and canal, and minutes from Barefoot golf courses, eateries and shopping. The condo had 3 spacious bedrooms, and plenty of room for 2 families to feel spread out. Great view from the balcony overlooking the Intercoastal waterway! We also enjoyed hanging out at the community pool and hot tub, which wasn't too crowded. We had a minor snafu with the condo association looking for our parking passes--none were mentioned in the booking or in the villa rules/paperwork. This caused a little undo stress because the association was going to tow our vehicles without it. The rental company did finally get this resolved for us, and we received the appropriate parking passes for 2 vehicles. I recommended that the rental company update the information passed on to guests for future bookings.

Frustrated

Check in process needs improvement. Could not get into villa due to communication given to enter wrong door. Made me feel as though I was not at the right place when I was. Was not given accurate information after more than 4-5 phones calls. Plus there was a thunderstorm going on during this time. After an hour or so, we were given the correct information on how to enter the villa.

Wonderful Stay

The unit was wonderful. It was quite a lot bigger than I thought it would be. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice relaxing space. The full-time tenants we met were so very nice and helpful.
