Wake up every day and go to sleep to the sound of waves on the shore beneath your window. End your day by watching the sun set from your own magnificent view in your studio condo. You will have a big, WOW when you walk in and see the ocean right there out your living room. The condo has been updated. Next door is a park on one side and the very popular Magic Sands Beach on the other. Magic Sands is great for hanging out, swimming, snorkeling, and boogie boarding and people watching. We provide chairs, boogie boards, and snorkel equipment and beach towels

The kitchen has a full refrigerator, stove/oven new dishes and cookware. Great restaurants in the building include, Magics Beach Grill and the Beach Shack. Ride the Keauhou Trolly for $1 and get picked up at Magic Sands or, drive a short 10 minutes to down town Kona where tourists love to eat at many great restaurants. There is also fun tourist shopping at many different markets. If you love to cook, the grocery stores are also within 10 minutes.

Magic Sands Condos are located conveniently to drive north to many exotic tropical beaches,. Drive south to visit Pele at the Volcano National Park. There is a lot of hiking and awe inspiring experiences with Pele. Drive over the saddle road to Hilo where you can spend a day oohing and awing over many waterfalls and incredible, stunning botanical gardens.

We offer Wi-Fi, complementary soaps, shampoo, conditioner, paper towels, toilet paper, laundry soap, laundry facilities, a smart TV, and air conditioning.

For your fun in the sun we have beach chairs, snorkel equipment, beach towels, boogie boards. Down stairs the condo offers a barbecue, places to eat and a swimming pool right at the ocean.

The kitchen is fully equipped with pots and pans, dishes, a full spice rack, blender, coffee pot, kona coffee, tea pot.

Some people will need to be aware that this condo is on the third floor, which means no one above you. You need to walk up the stairs.
This is the perfect place for a fun and romantic tropical vacation.

Disappointing

Overall, we felt this place was rather shabby and way over priced. After the added VRBO and cleaning fees, the price was 378 a night. There is no elevator, so everything had to be carried up three flights of outdoor steps. The bathroom sink drain was slow, the shower is tiny, the bathroom screen allows tiny gnats through, so there are always bugs in the bathroom. There is no balcony. Magic Sands beach is rocks. We appreciated the beach chairs and towels. For a lower price, this place would be ok.

Beautiful Unit

The property opens up directly on the ocean with a full view. The condo is well apportioned and right in Magic Sands beach. Bring your binoculars to watch whales.

Great location with wonderful view

We had a wonderful stay. The home had everything we needed. Daily whale watching. The onsite restaurant was a nice treat. Even though there was construction going on, the workers were very considerate. Homeowner, Sage was always available when a question arose.

Beautiful Stay

This property offers a peaceful place to enjoy the majesty of the ocean, sunsets and Hawaiian beauty. The unit is clean, well-appointed and easy to find. The host was available, helpful and very communicative. This was a terrific stay and we will be back. A true favorite.

Great location for beach lovers

Easy access to a great, sandy beach and spectacular view of the ocean from the room. I will say the view from the room is a little bit affected by the residual of some old window treatments, but if you open the windows there it is. The host was very responsive to questions via text. The overall property itself is on the older-side and shows a little bit of wear, such as the pool area, but it is still comfortable and in a great location if you are coming to Hawaii for a beach and those lovely ocean sunsets.

All Good and Comfy!

The best part about the stay was that the property management is so courteous and replied quickly to all my correspondence. She also was kind to accommodate with an early check in but ended up getting to Kona late. Also, if we needed to extend, she was very helpful on working it out. The Condo is older than many oceanside, but they have a restaurant attached that made it really convenient with a late-night check in...There are lots of nice amenities I had no idea was available in the condo. Presentation was clean and the bed was so comfy. We weren't in the room except at sunset to early morning so being on the ocean the sea must make it hard to keep windows clean. Something is up with the sofa, but we didn't need to use, so no prob. Not sure about the pool. Overall we were grateful for a quiet comfortable stay, Mahalo!

Great spot

Great location right by the beach with gorgeous views from the room and beautiful sunsets. Good spot to explore all parts of the Kona side of the island from. Only down side was the tiny water heater. We had to learn to take a 3-4 min shower each before the hot water ran out but certainly not a deal breaker.

Great location!

My wife and I have been visiting Kona once or twice a year for many years and for the past six years, we've brought our child who has really taken a liking to Magic Sands Beach. We usually stay right in downtown Kona, but this time we decided to try a place closer to Magic Sands—and we weren't disappointed! The area was quieter and having the ocean waves crashing right outside was spectacular, especially with the stunning sunset views. With Magic’s Beach Grill/Shack nearby offering coffee and light breakfasts each morning, we were well-prepared for our days. Waking up, grabbing a coffee and a quick bite, and then walking over to the beach was incredibly convenient. As light travelers, the layout of the condo suited us well; my wife and I slept on the bed and our child used the fold-out sofa bed, with plenty of room for all. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this unit if you’re looking for a comfortable oceanside stay.

Ocean is sooo close.. Really comfy

Condo has a great view of the ocean, literally just outside the door. All the accommodations you need and comfortable bed and really nice smart TV. Owner was very responsive to our needs and extremely personable.

Amazing view & location

so close to the waves! next to Magic Sand beach for boogie boarding and close to Kahalu’u for snorkling. beach stuff (chairs, snorkel stuff, boogie board), good towels, well equipped kitchen, good AC, laundry, great pool, nice set up!

SOUNDS OF THE OCEAN

The sounds of the ocean put me right to sleep! Very restful! Kitchen and bath cabinets could use updating. Small, condo sized water heater, so short showers.

Amazing Waterfront Condo!

We had the absolute best time staying here. We spent 10 amazing days at this condo and enjoyed every minute of it. Sage was very helpful and communicative. She ensured that our check in process was flawless, and it was perfect to get off a long flight and have a place to relax. In addition to the amenities and location, there is a very convenient bar/restaurant right downstairs, and the convenience was amazing. I will definitely be returning! Thank you, Sage, for a fantastic stay! :)

Little piece of heaven

We loved staying here! The place is very clean with beautiful art pieces on the wall. It is a third floor unit so you never hear anyone above you. It's also located about in the middle so not too close to the pool or the parking area. They have basic amenities stocked including beach gear you can use steps away at Magic Sands. And the view is ridiculous - crashing waves and sunsets. Your can even see reef fish in the water. This place is magical.

Aloha, my name is Sage. I live on the Big Island of Hawaii. What a blessing! We love having a condo that provides so much fun for vacationers. This is such a healing place, a fun place, relaxing, adventurous. We love snorkeling and there is amazing snorkeling all over the Island. When we are really fortunate, we get to swim with the dolphins. The best part is the weather! We are originally from Oregon with the seasons. I have to say I do not miss the snow. I love the tropics. We hope you enjoy your time here as much as we do.

We chose this neighbor hood because of Magic Sands beach. The second I walked into this condo, I knew people would love it. And they do! There is a trolley to get around for free. A restaurant attached to the building. A park on the other side for quiet times. Down town Kona is 10 minutes away. It is a prime location!

The moment you walk in the door and look out over the ocean you will know why this property is so special. The view is spectacular. Also, for those who do not want to get into the waves, we have a swimming pool area next to the beach.
