Pop back in time and relax in 60's mod style in this quaint vintage apartment hotel, capturing a front row center view of Magic Sands Beach since 1963.

Roll out of the soft and cozy queen size bed and step right across the street to take a dip in the turquoise blue ocean. This beach is ever changing, as Namaka (Hawaiian goddess of the sea), works her magic on the soft white sand, taking it away and then putting it back, earning its name for the magically disappearing sands. Popular for boogie boarding and snorkeling, you can see bright schools of yellow tangs and black batfish right from the shore. Visitors and locals all love to gather at this beach to watch the spectacular sunsets!

When itā€™s time to grab a bite, across the street is a walk up grill where you can get a cup of fresh roasted Kona coffee and breakfast in the morning, or lunch in the afternoon. They make incredible acai bowls with fresh local fruit! You can grab a beer or cocktail to go here and enjoy it on the beach. Also across the street is Magics Beach Grill, offering oceanside dining lit by tiki torches with spectacular reef fish viewing and glowing sunsets! Downtown Kona is just 4 miles away with a variety of restaurants to choose from. Donā€™t feel like driving? The Kona trolley stops right here and will take you downtown or to the nearest shopping center where you can pick up some food if you feel like making a laid back meal at home in your fully stocked kitchenette. -This unit is across from Magic Sands Beach and directly on Aliā€™i Drive, and you can hear the fun being had at all times of the day.

- Also located next to Pahoehoe Beach Park and the sacred Laā€™aloa Bay. Kahaluā€™u Beach Park is about a mile away for great snorkeling!

-There is one dedicated parking spot assigned to this unit.

-This unit has no air conditioning, but it does have a lovely ocean breeze!

-There is no dishwasher in this unit. But you probably wonā€™t be cooking extravagant meals, leave that to the restaurant chefs!

-There is a washer and dryer in the complex, must download PayRange app in advance. Laundry detergent is provided in the unit.

-Smoking is not allowed on the property, so if you need it, just walk across the street and enjoy the ocean view!

-There is no pool in this complex. Who cares? You came here for the OCEAN.

-Caution: this little slice of paradise will capture your heart and make it very hard to leave!

We had a wonderful four night stay at Atomic Tiki! The listing is totally accurate. Absolutely loved the location and decor. Super clean and comfortable. Great dedicated off street parking for the rental car and we also used the free bus that runs the length of Aliā€™i Drive. Highly recommend Atomic Tiki and would love to stay again!

Very cute Studioā€¦ GroundLevel, Directly Across from Magic Sands! Well appointed, kitschy Decor! No AC, but was comfortable enough for our short stay. It is located on Alii Drive, which is very busy, so there is road noiseā€¦ again, it did not bother usā€¦ but if you are a light sleeper, it is a bit noisy. But Super Easy Access to ALL of the Best of Kona!

We sent our daughter and husband here on their honeymoon and they reported having a good experience! In particular they noted that there was beach gear including a boogie board and snorkels, and the beach was right across the street! They did note the absence of air conditioning but said that the fans kept them from being uncomfortable. Overall, they said it was great, and perfect for two people!

Loved this condo! We had fun listening to the records while relaxing in the evenings. The rental is stocked with everything you need for the beach. The tiki decor is very thoughtfully selected and so much fun. Itā€™s exactly as pictured and very clean and comfortable.Though there is no A/C, we had a nice breeze through the unit. We would happily stay here again in the future.

Excellent location: The 201 bus was great when we wanted to see a bit of the surrounding area but didnā€™t want to drive, and everything from Hawi to Volcanoes NP was a manageable drive. Incredible hosts: Andi and Andrew were responsive and friendly, and of course, nailed the theme of the apartment 100%. Their recommendations were spot-on, too. We tried almost all their picks and found nary a loser in the bunch!Mahalo, Atomic Tiki. You did not disappointā€¦
