Pros: Location was terrific, house was decorated festively for the holidays, the kids loved the game room!Cons: The cookware/bakeware/utensils were not in good shape and were very disorganized. The kitchen cabinets, drawers, and pantry could use a deep clean out and purging of unnecessary items. I've never seen so much stuff in a rental. Although the house itself was clean, the extra random stuff in the kitchen and pantry were off-putting.The mattresses were not comfortable - too firm. Perhaps invest in some memory foam mattress pads.

Everything was perfect about the stay at the house. The kitchen utensils and serving pieces were plentiful. The home was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The hosts returned answers to my questions, leading up to our arrival. They called me personally when I wasn't sure how to use the door keypad. All of the friends were happy to have had this house for our reunion.

The kitchen was Well appointed. Actually one of tbest supplied I've seen.The game room was a GAME CHANGER! Hardly saw the 10 yr old!I was so busy that I missed some communications with the owner and we had a little difficulty with the lock.However, I highly recommend if you want to be near the action in McKinney. We were able to walk everywhere. Note: while the house is smack dab in the historic area, we were not bothered by noise.

We were in town for our daughters wedding. We had our elderly aunt with us as well as our college age daughter and her friends. The property met everyone's needs and the location was perfect, giving us access to shopping, restaurants and nightlife without being too noisy.The hosts communicated with me prior to and throughout our week long stay.We would definitely stay here againif we get the opportunity!

This home is CLEAN, beautiful, and a great location. There's an ice machine, a designated ultra filtration water faucet, lots of kitchen dishes and gadgets, etc. The beds were all comfortable. And, there were more than enough towels. We would definitely stay here again!

Daughterā€™s wedding and booked this house. Didnā€™t realize how close it was to venue and restaurants! Highly recommend! Quick responses to questions and throughly enjoy our stay. We had 10 family members and we had plenty of room. I give it 10 out of 10!

Nice House

House is very nice with a modern farmhouse look with tons of open space and towering ceilings. Neighborhood is vintage downtown with a mix of older homes and several updated homes, like this one. Be mindful that the driveway is downhill and very short so two cars fit very awkwardly, and tightly, but they can fit. We had an SUV and truck fit. Any other cars must park on the narrow street in front of the house. House had PLENTY of basic amenities that other VRBOs tend to be stingy on - toilet paper, dishwashing liquid, paper towels, soap, etc. Owner was very nice and let us get in early to get ready for our daughter's wedding rehearsal.

Great location but there is much room for improvement

This home is beautiful, spacious and in a great location for exploring downtown Mckinney. We hosted a small bridal shower, and it was perfect as we could walk around the square after the shower concluded. A few disappointing things: - Hot water ā€“ we were provided instructions on how to make the hot water work and followed them. Unfortunately, even though the hot water would turn on, it only lasted for apx 5 minutes in any of the bathrooms. Not a fun way to take a shower. Then the kitchen had no hot water to clean the dishes. Unsure where the dishwasher was pulling hot water from. - The pull-out sofa in the game room was broken (we were made aware the day of arrival), so the host provided an air mattress and ā€˜beddingā€™ for it. Unfortunately, the bedding was sheets only, and I had to take blankets from other rooms for the ladies staying in the game room. I suggest adding several additional bedding pieces to the house. - I paid a separate/additional cleaning fee but was still asked to start laundry and the dishwasher. On their own, not a big deal ā€“ itā€™s normal clean-up, but when an additional fee is paid on top of the nightly rental and other fees, there shouldnā€™t be those types of requests made by the host.Overall, it was a nice space for what I needed, but I do not believe we will rent this home again based on price and the issues noted above. For the total price I paid, I expect perfection.

Homebase for our business when traveling

This is the second time we have stayed because this place is perfect for 4 to 6 people all business associates where we have our own kitchen and our own place to use as a homebase while working with a business in the area. It has everything we need and weā€™ve already rebooked it again And plan our travel around when this place is available.

Dog parade

We decided on this property because it was walking distance to the parade. The house is very nice and we had a good time. A couple of improvements would be having four to six chairs in the game room. Also the windows on front door are backwards, it allows people off the street to see inside, so need to put up blinds or curtains.

Awesome Victorian

My friends and I stayed at this Victorian. The pictures did not due justice to this house. It was decorated beautifully, very clean and fully stocked with everything you would ever need. The host was amazing, friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this property. I will definitely book this property on my next visit to McKinney.

Classy and comfortable

One of my favorite places I've stayed so far. The house was amazing- tall ceilings, beautiful wood floors, great kitchen. With 6 of us on a work trip, there was plenty of room for us to spread out and relax. Location was quiet, several good eating spots close by. Trip was planned last minute due to weather changing travel plans and the owner was fast to reply and very accommodating. Will stay here again if in the area!
