Casa Elsa is an exclusive, ocean view luxury vacation rental home located in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica, featuring four bedrooms and five full baths. Casa Elsa combines over 7700 square feet of tropical paradise with the luxury and amenities that are sure to satisfy even the most discriminating holidaymaker.

We have just purchased Casa Elsa finished some significant upgrades including new tile floors on the top level, full interior paint with new colors, added square footage with a new Dining Room, all LED lighting, designer gourmet kitchen with custom teak wood cabinets, quartz countertops, appliances, local art , bar b q, all new mattresses and bedding, bathroom mirrors and more.

Casa Elsa's uniqueness lies in its ability to offer an open concept view of the Costa Rican jungle and its wildlife while maintaining complete privacy and security. The vast, modern and open spaces means that the only visitors you can expect are from nature itself. Daily visits from birds, monkeys and a lazy sloth, along with a refreshing steady breeze from the Pacific Ocean will make your visit to Casa Elsa an everlasting and unforgettable experience.

On the upper level of Casa Elsa, you will enjoy a large gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a dining room with a custom-made teak wood dining room table and a full bath complete with a shower. The large, beautiful ocean view infinity edge swimming pool and pool deck rounds out the upper floor. Level two occupies the first bedroom featuring a King size bed plus a futon and an ensuite bathroom. All bedrooms are equipped with AC. The second bedroom on this level has a queen size bed with an ensuite bathroom. Here you will also find the living room complete with a large flat screen TV. Finally, the lower level houses the master bedroom suite that includes both a King and Queen size bed with a large ensuite bathroom and a large jungle view private jacuzzi. The fourth bedroom also has a King size bed with ensuite bathroom. On this level you will also find the game room with a pool table and the laundry room.

Although all the common space is primarily open air, the three exterior doors to Casa Elsa are all secured with dead bolt locks. The front of the home is completely walled, with no access to the back or side of the house from the street. The home is 3 stories high with the first floor being over 15ft above ground. Additionally, all bedrooms are fully contained and secured with locks while the entire home is protected with a security system for those who choose to use it.

Casa Elsa offers many areas for shared moments including the custom mural at the front entrance door as well as the sitting area located on the 2nd floor and the large glass plate that allows you to take photos of your loved ones while they are under water in the infinity edge swimming pool.

Casa Elsa’s location is one of a kind. A quick 10-15 min walk down the hill (just over a half mile) to the beach makes Casa Elsa a great choice. Within a 5–10-minute walk, you will also find a variety of restaurants, groceries, bars and more. The beauty of Casa Elsa’s location is that you are surrounded by jungle while enjoying the abundant wildlife and within walking distance of the many great things that Manual Antonio offers.

When booking with us, you will get free concierge service. Concierge can help you with private airport transportation, chef services, massages, tours, reservations or anything else you might need during your stay. You also get daily housekeeping service, with the exception of Sunday, to include laundry service. There is also a team that comes throughout the week to maintain the pool and the grounds. The service at Casa Elsa is second to none!

Expect to see an array of wildlife while staying at Casa Elsa including various species of monkeys, sloths, macaws, parrots, deer, squirrels, raccoons, coatis, pacas, anteaters, and occasionally ocelots. Be careful not to leave food out, as the monkeys tend to help themselves. Being at Casa Elsa is as close to living in the Jungle as you can get!

Concierge Services included for all our guests! Our concierge, Susan, can help with things like arranging private airport transportation, booking chef services, tours, massages, restaurant reservations, rental cars and much more. This service is extremely helpful. Having a local expert to help you plan you stay will not only save you time and money but will make your time in Costa Rica remarkable!

For security purposes, we have camera's recording video and audio on the driveway, entrance area's and on the walkway on the exterior rear of the home.

House Rules:
1. A signed and fully completed rental agreement (including names and ages) with photo ID is required within 24 hours of booking. Person signing and staying must be at least 25 yrs old. No unregistered guest (must be on rental agreement) at anytime.

2. Quiet hrs strictly enforced from 8pm-6am. Loud noise after 8pm can be grounds for eviction.

3. $500 Security Deposit Hold is required. No children under 5 yrs old permitted on the property.

4. Guests are responsible for locking all doors/windows in the villa when they are absent - safeguarding its contents, including guests' personal items.

5. I understand that because Costa Rica is a developing nation and can have torrential rain storms during rainy season, sometimes you will loose power. This is not unusual. Although it does not happen often, when it does it could be a few minutes or a couple hours. Do not be alarmed. There are emergency flashlights around the house for your use and you can contact your concierge if you have any questions. No refunds are given for acts of God.

6. I understand that the home is open air except for the bedrooms which have AC. The AC is fitted for the bedrooms only so the bedroom doors should never be left open. Additionally the AC should not be left running while no one is in the room.

7. Third party travel insurance is required to cover any cancellations outside of our cancellation policy.

8. No pets, smoking, loud music, commercial photography, parties or events

9. Before you arrive you will be asked to complete guest verification through third-party provider Truvi. This is done to ensure we are keeping up-to-date with short-term rental regulations as well as providing both our guests and our properties with extra protection. Truvi will contact you via email and/or text to complete the verification. Please do so prior to arriving at the property to enable a quick and easy check-in process.

Important Notice About Local Wildlife and Insects

Our property is located in a natural setting, which means guests may encounter insects (such as ants, mosquitoes, or spiders) and possibly wildlife (including snakes, lizards, or other native animals). We take precautions to minimize such encounters, but interactions with local flora and fauna are part of the experience.
