La Casa Roja is a private two-bedroom, 2.5-bath jungle villa thoughtfully designed to blend indoor comfort with the surrounding rainforest.

The upper level features spacious open-air living and dining spaces, a fully equipped kitchen, and a half bathroom. Large open areas allow tropical breezes and jungle views to flow naturally throughout the home.
✦ Lower Level
The lower level includes two private air-conditioned bedroom suites:
◆ Primary Suite — King bed with ensuite bathroom
◆ Guest Suite — Queen bed with ensuite bathroom
A futon in the open living area provides additional flexible sleeping space.

The housekeeper is present for routine cleaning, laundry, and property operations. Guests should expect staff presence on the property during these hours.

⚠ Children: For safety reasons, children under 5 years old are not permitted due to open cable railings and elevated areas that may present fall risks for
⚠ Security: For your security, cameras monitor the driveway, entrances, and gardens of the home.
⚠ Air Conditioning: AC is provided in the bedrooms only. Please keep bedroom doors closed when the AC is running and turn it off when the room is unoccupied.
⚠ Power Outages: As Costa Rica is a developing nation, occasional power outages can occur, especially during the rainy season. This is not unusual and typically lasts from a few minutes to a couple of hours. Emergency flashlights are provided.
⚠ Wildlife: Our property is in a natural jungle setting. You may encounter insects and local wildlife. We take precautions to minimize this, but it is part of the authentic Costa Rican experience.
⚠Cancellations: Third party travel insurance is required to cover any cancellations outside of our cancellation policy.


📜 House Rules
To ensure a wonderful stay for you and to respect our community, we ask that you please observe the following rules:
1. The primary guest booking and signing the rental agreement must be at least 25 years old.
2. A signed rental agreement and photo ID are required within 24 hours of booking.
3. Only registered guests listed on the rental agreement are permitted on the property at any time.
4. Quiet hours are strictly enforced from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Loud music or excessive noise is not permitted. Loud noise after 8:00 PM may be grounds for eviction.
5. No pets, smoking, commercial photography, parties, or events are allowed.
6. A $500 security deposit hold is required prior to check-in.
7. Before you arrive, you will be asked to complete guest verification through third-party provider Truvi. This is done to ensure compliance with short-term rental regulations while also providing additional protection for both guests and the property. Truvi will contact you via email and/or text message to complete the verification. Please complete the process prior to arrival to ensure a smooth and easy check-in experience.
8. Check-in time is 3:00 PM and check-out time is 10:00 AM.
