This is definitely a 5 star vacation home. The house is incredibly well-equipped with top of the line appliances and even furniture. Every bedroom has a bathroom and 10 of us were very comfortable sharing the immense amount of space. The view over the sound was lovely and the private pier was well-used by our group for reading quietly, watching the sunsets, and launching the kayaks. It was just a short bike ride to the beach a little over 1/2 mile away. There was even a plug in for our hybrid car. The pool and hot tub area was clean and comfortable with lots of spaces to just hang out. The management company lost this gem a star - the dryer didn't work which wasn't a great situation for 10 people on a beach vacation. They did tell me the problem required an appliance repair person but then the communication stopped after a couple of emails back and forth. They never did get the dryer fixed during our stay and I stopped trying to email after I got a couple of rather snarky responses. I understand needing to find a more qualified person to do the repair but I do not understand the terrible communication, then lack of communication about how they were trying to resolve the issue. But that is all on the management team. The house itself was absolutely perfect!
