Completely remodeled cabin on 18 acres - across from Little Manistee River!

Enjoy this completely remodeled cabin on 18 beautiful, wooded acres of land - located just across from the Little Manistee River at 9 mile bridge. We are 3 miles from Big M Recreation area, and a short drive to Pine Lake, Caberfe recreation area, Nordhouse Dunes, Little River Casino, the town of Manistee and public beach areas.

Fish, kayak or tube on the the Little Manistee River, adventure out to Hoag Lake for swimming and water sports, explore Big M recreation area, enjoy local snowmobiling, drive to the public beaches in town, sit out by the fireglobe at night, or enjoy the charcoal BBQ grill. When you are ready to retire from the great outdoors, we have 2 bedrooms plus a cozy den with electric fireplace, and two full baths - (split floor plan with each bedroom/bath located on opposite ends of the house), front and back sunrooms with dining tables (enjoy the view and catch glimpses of some backyard wildlife!), a large living room with a full DVD and book library, plus games and puzzles. The remodeled kitchen is fully stocked. The zoned mini-split heat pump system provides heat or air conditioning year round. Your stay includes free Starlink satellite internet.

Please - no hunting or discharging firearms on the property!

Two bedrooms with private baths (double master layout), plus a den with queen sized futon - 5 beds that sleeps a maximum of 8 people. To keep the overnight fees low, we have one-time fees per stay for additional people over 2 - this covers the general cleaning and laundry costs.

Pet friendly for house-trained, non-aggressive and well-behaved pets. There is a one-time $50 pet fee per stay for cleaning.

We loved this cabin! It was recently remodeled and spotlessly clean. The trails and woods behind the cabin were absolutely beautiful and the area was perfect for fishing. The owners were easy to work with and our dog was delighted with all the room to explore. We will be back!

Outstanding property. There was everything provided in the house to make your trip comfortable. The owners are wonderful people to work with. I had left a item in the house after I left and when I contacted the owners they instantly volunteered to mail me the items and I received it 5 days later. The location is very peaceful and beautiful.

Each time i thought to myself ,"it would be great if this was here", I'd open another drawer or cabinet and viola...there it was. Pam and Kent went over and above to ensure the cabin was clean and organized. The peace and quiet was great.

Golfers base camp

Clean and spacious home with 2 full baths with showers. Two bedrooms and a den which easily converts to a third bedroom. Plenty of room for myself and three golfing buddies. About 15 miles east of Manistee . Great location to access Manistee golf courses. About 20 minutes to golf. Ludington only 30 minutes to the South. 18 acres of beautiful and peaceful forested land. Super quiet! Would love to come back. Pam and Kent are great hosts. I highly recommend if you love the outdoors.

This place was fantastic! Very clean, all the amenities, and a very fine attention to detail in the updates that have been done. Only 20 minutes to 5th Ave beach in Manistee but secluded back in the woods. We all really enjoyed our time and would 100% stay again.

Great place on the river

We had an absolutely incredible stay. The cabin was great, super comfortable, clean and relaxed, the communication from the hosts was top notch and the cabin was well stocked with everything we needed. thanks again for the awesome spot! We will be back for sure

Relaxing getaway

Peaceful and relaxing

Loved staying here. The forest is so nice and peaceful to walk through. The cabin is very comfortable and we loved hanging out in the back sunroom looking out at the trees. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Awesome place !

We Absolutely loved this cabin !! It was perfect ! Super clean , kitchen was well stocked, very comfy bed ! Loved the patio with the fire pit and it is pet friendly so thats an added bonus ! Our dog LOVED the huge yard ! We hope to cone back soon !! Beautiful cabin and great communication with the owners ! Thanks for shating your cabin with us !!

Clean, cozy & more than expected

1st time doing this. Daughter was getting married in Manistee abt 20 min. away. This cabin has everything!! It is very clean & well thought out. The hosts didn't cut corners when they designed this cute cabin. Tons of blankets, pillows & towels. Only the 2 of us there so we had tons of room. Little patio outside and closed in back porch looking out at it. Patio has plenty of nice chairs, party lights and a fire pit. Air conditioning in every room, laundry room with everything you can think of. All kinds of lighting in all the rooms. Newest appliances, 4 couches, bar nook, all sorts of dishes, pans, silverware, toaster oven, crock pot, mixer, Folgers coffee, ice packs, saran wraps, tin foils....the list goes on. Highly recommend this cabin. Would love to see their other one on the lake. THANK you for all the work & well thought out plans in the design!

Amazing Cabin!

We absolutely loved this cabin! My husband and I stayed in this cabin with my brother and his wife for 3 nights while kayaking the Pine River! The location of the bedrooms/bathrooms were perfect for couples as they were at opposite ends of the cabin, which provided for great privacy for each couple! The outside patio area was so relaxing and we loved dining in the enclosed porch area off the kitchen! Pam has obviously put so much thought into appointing the cabin. They had literally everything you could need stocked! It was lovely and incredibly clean as well! I especially appreciated the soft and luxurious bath towels! Nothing worse than scratchy sand paper towels that some places supply! We’re already planning to return next year! I would 10 out of 10 recommend staying here!

Manistee stay

Me and my girlfriend had a wonderful stay at this cabin, lovely view of nature and not far from activities we planned, I recommend this place if you want to get away and enjoy family!

We fell in love with the Manistee area years ago. The area is our happy place and we were blessed to be able to purchase this property with acreage. We enjoy sharing it with others who also enjoy nature, wildlife and the beautiful area.

We love having wooded acreage that is isolated and private. In the past we've captured so much wildlife on trail cameras - deer, wild turkeys, bobcat, bear, a fox family (with 5 kits), skunk and raccoons. We love sharing this property with the wildlife! We love the clean air quality and how blue the sky is up here!

18 wooded acres with rolling topography - we love to go out and explore in the private backyard. We love the vicinity to the Little Manistee River and Big M recreation area. Pam spends most mornings out on the roads running or walking.
