The Space:

Hastings Hideaway is a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life, nestled in the heart of the serene Catskill Mountains. This newly renovated vacation rental is the perfect retreat for up to 10 guests, with 5 bedrooms and 3 full baths, and a number of cozy nooks to gather.



Upstairs, enjoy a large kitchen that sits just off a gorgeous farmhouse dining table with seating for 10! The open living space transitions into the cozy living room with paneled ceilings throughout and tons of natural light. Gather around the large couch for an epic movie night. Rounding out the upstairs are 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths.



The lower level has a tv/game room, a great spot for the kids or a memorable night with friends. The remaining two bedrooms and a full bath are also on the lower level.



But perhaps the true gem of Hastings Hideaway is the backyard, featuring a 2-tiered design with a deck off the back of the house and an open meadow at the back of the lot. The outdoor dining area and firepit create the perfect atmosphere for intimate gatherings - take in the fresh mountain air while enjoying the tranquil scenery!

Getting Around:

Hastings Hideaway is just 2.5 hours from New York City and guests can travel around by car as it is a rural area with limited public transportation.

In the winter, we recommend a car with four-wheel drive that can handle the snow and gravel roads.



Other Things to Note:

Please Note: The house does not have air conditioning, but fans are provided in the bedrooms. The main living areas do not have blinds or curtains. While most bedrooms have window coverings, the lower-level bedrooms do not, and the glass sliding door in the primary bedroom is also uncovered.
