We can't wait to welcome you to Woodfield Cabin, where unforgettable memories await amidst the natural beauty of the Catskills.

Primary bedroom, accessed through black barn doors, features a king bed with 100% organic cotton percale bedsheets.

Two additional bedrooms with queen sized beds fitted with 100% organic percale sheets.

Cozy reading room, where you can unwind in an iconic Eames chair and enjoy your favorite records on the record player.

Workspace offers a dedicated area equipped with strong Wi-Fi, perfect for all your remote needs, from video calls to streaming your favorite shows.

Our bathroom offers modern fixtures and amenities, including Public Goods shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, and hand wash.

Pet lovers are welcome to bring their furry friends along, with a small fee of $100 per pet.

Our space is located at the top of a mountain and nestled in the woods. Though we treat the exterior and interior to keep out pests including insects and mice, this is a reality of nature. Our space may not be a fit for those who are extremely phobic of these and other wildlife. No refunds will be given.

- Your vehicle must include All Wheel or 4 Wheel Drive for the Winter duration.
- Our roads are plowed and maintained regularly during the winter season, however some snow and ice will remain after clearing.
- Please note that travel times may increase due to the advisory of slow speeds during winter due to snow/ice.

To enhance the safety of our guests and property, we have a security camera facing the driveway/front door and at the back at the property. It does not record any interior or private areas.

Quick getaway!

Nice space, perfect soaking tub, two fire pits! Grill and pizza oven. We enjoyed peaceful star filled evenings. Quiet nights and baby deer running around in the mornings. Local goat sanctuary is a must for a hike with the goats. Reasonably close hikes, to waterfalls and swimming holes, check if you need a permit, the water was ice cold at first, perfect for the weather, we spent a while there, then back for some grilling!We enjoyed the stove and record collection. We were a family with a guest and this location was lovely. Clean and cozy, but with lots of space!

It certainly come again great place for anniversary

Everything they had and offered was great just a few small things. Some light switches weren’t labeled. light switches to some things that were supposed to work didn’t turn on. There was no indication of a security camera though.

Great stay

The property is beautiful. The soft snow blanketing the area only made it more so. Everything was exactly where it was said to be and our hosts were ready and willing to help at a moments notice. Couldn't ask for a better place

Great place to stay

The house was clean and fully equipped. Fr removed from the town, can be difficult if you have an electric vehicle (I drive a Tesla and closest charger was 45 away). Other than that, great place to unwind and disconnect.

Weekend getaway

We enjoyed our stay at the cozy cabin. It’s a beautiful place with some nice amenities. Very quiet. If you stay at this place here are a couple pointers: the wood burning stove has a square hearth that we all kept stubbing our toes. Just place a small item like a purse to prevent stubbing. All four of us at some time managed to stub our toes. The cedar hot tub is exactly as described: made of cedar and filled with hot water. There were no jets. The kitchen has some nice features but no microwave and no large skillet for making breakfasts like pancakes or scrambled eggs. Although it did have a small one. We ended up buying one so we could enjoy our meals. Double check the refrigerator temperature as it was set to 9 which froze our food. These are just small things that can easily be addressed and will ensure you have a nice time.

Cozy Cabin with Great Host, Just a Few Tweaks Needed

We had a great stay in a cozy cabin and enjoyed excellent communication with Laura. When we had an issue with the grill’s propane tank, she sent someone up within 15 minutes, which we really appreciated.There are a few areas for improvement. Firstly, the cabin could benefit from more seating. With five adults, it was challenging for all of us to gather comfortably in one room. Additional armchairs, especially in the room with the record player, would have been appreciated. It would also help to have instructions for the hot tub; it turned off, and we weren’t sure how to restart it. The grill was very greasy, and the drip tray was full, so it needed better cleaning between guests. Additionally, no paper towels were provided, which made general cleanup particularly challenging.Despite these minor issues, the cabin itself was cozy and comfortable. We appreciated the availability of firewood and the simplicity of the space, which added to its charm.

Relaxing Catskills getaway

We had a great time - cozy cabin blends modern and rustic really nicely. Weather was terrible but this was a great place to hang out. Super clean and comfortable.

Amazing Catskills Getaway!

My wife and I (and our dog) had a fantastic weekend in this adorable Catskills cabin! The amenities were all very tasteful (especially the cedar hot tub!) and the outside lights really tied together the cozy mountain cabin vibes at night. Laura was a pleasure to work with and very helpful with any questions that we had. Would absolutely recommend!

Relaxing Escape from New Jersey

Great cabin getaway! Grahmsville is 3 1/2 hours north of our New Jersey home and it felt like we were in another world. Climbing up the Catskills mountains to the cabin made it feel like we were getting away from the hustle and bustle of the city life. Great house that is very spacious. The outdoor setting was perfect. Could use a mowing but other than that it was great. Two fire pits going at once. Playing for hole and watching the kids enjoy the newly installed cedar tub off the deck. Definitely a great escape from everyday life. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a nice mountain getaway in New York State. Thanks Laura.

Cozy getaway

Hi! The house was very relaxing and peaceful. We really enjoyed our stay there with our cat and our dog. They do have streaming services for the TV but you need to use your own log in info. Also, be aware if your bring a cat or small child who wants to touch everything, the fireplace and radiators are very hot to the touch and at perfect height for little ones. Our cat was fine and figured it out with no injury, but I worry a toddler could easily burn themselves. Bring your own laundry detergent if you want to wash clothes. We took a lot of walks which was nice, but any town or state park hikes are a drive down the mountain. Overall, we had a super relaxing and cozy stay and would recommend the house to others!

BEDBUGS

BEDBUGS We rented this cabin for a weekend retreat. My friend slept in the king bed room and woke up with bites along her neck and face. We were freaked out, took photos, and contacted the owners on our way home to let them know what had happened. My friend went to the dermatologist upon arrival in the city and was diagnosed with BEDBUG bites. We tried to resolve the issue directly with the owners and they told us they thought it was horse flies. The owners were completely unhelpful and unsympathetic despite our efforts to keep it civil. It’s gross but BEDBUGS happen in this day and age, the lack of care or concern on the owners end was completely avoidable. Secluded location, great hot tub, dirty kitchen

Overall my friends and I had a nice time. The property was beautiful and gave us easy access to hikes like sams point. Bedrooms, bathrooms and hot tub were clean and matched the pictures in the listing, except for the windows in the 2nd bedroom didn’t open, which made it very stuffy. Also the water heater was malfunctioning and making loud hissing and beeping sounds during our stay, which I told the owner about and she said she would get it checked out. We still had hot water, so this wasn’t a big problem for our trip. The owner was easy to communicate with and helpful with trying to figure stuff out like how to use the pizza oven. Only major problem we had was that the kitchen was dirty when we arrived. The mocha pot was moldy and had old coffee in it and the grill was dirty. Cleaning the grill is part of the checkout instructions, so I guess the people before us didn’t do it. Nevertheless, I would have expected it to have been cleaned by housekeeping, instead of depending on guests to do it themselves. Other than the cleanliness issue, everything went smoothly.

Dirty Hot Tub

Usually don’t do reviews, but based on feed back from property manager wanted to ensure I left a review. The cabin itself was good. Cleanish on the inside. Fans were very dusty, but over all cleanliness of the cabin was good. We cooked and the cabin had everything we needed for cooking. The unfortunate part of our stay was the hot tub which was a main point for staying at this cabin over much cheaper options. Unfortunately the hot tub had a lot of bio film floating around and attached to the inside of the hot tub. We waited to reach out to the property manager tell after we left as we didn’t want people interrupting our stay to do cleaning that was stated to have been done prior to our stay. The conversation with the property manager was very disappointing to say the least when she stated she would have told us where the cleaning products where so we could clean it out selves. Paying over $1000 for our stay at a location that one was stated to be cleaned beyond having should be cleaned was very disappointing to be told we should have notified her while we were there so we could clean it ourselves.

Cozy Mountain Retreat

My friends and I wanted to meet in the middle and have a relaxed visit together. The property is beautiful and offers a great view of the valley. This was just what we wanted. We made ourselves at home very easily. If you want to get away from it all and relax, this is the perfect place for you. Keep in mind you are staying a bit far from restaurants and stores so plan accordingly and bring snacks. Our husbands were grateful for our packing skills when their tummies starting rumbling. We had such a great weekend away!
