The design and function of this home is exquisite. The pool area is like a resort that we did not want to leave. The kitchen is a dream- fully stocked for cooking or having a chef prepare meals for you. I was worried about the primary suite not having AC, but with the windows open there was no need for it. We were comfortable the whole time. The property manager was very responsive and helpful the whole time. It’s hard to put into words how wonderful this home is; we felt we were truly immersed in the beauty of Costa Rica while staying here. We will be back.

Gorgeous Getaway

The property & staff are excellent. This is a real gem with a chefs kitchen, private spaces and beautiful view. We will absolutely return. Drive a 4x4 as the driveway is steep.

WONDERFUL HOUSE AND VIEW!!!!!

I was hesitant to book this property due to very few recent reviews but I’m so glad I did!!! The kitchen is very well stocked and the pool is the largest I’ve had in a rental. The views were amazing from every room. The howler monkeys that came through every day were a great bonus. We had a group of 8 adults and there was plenty space for everyone to spread out or gather together for meals and games. The hill going up to the house is steep but it’s paved with concrete and well maintained. One thing to note, the upstairs master bedroom does not have air conditioning but even in July with all the windows open and the breeze blowing we slept comfortably. Great vacation and I would highly recommend this property!

You won’t want to leave

Casa Beleza de Costa Rica and it’s staff are so incredible. When it’s time to check out, you won’t want to leave. From the chef’s kitchen, outdoor pizza oven and pool, the beautifully curated living spaces, the gorgeous views and the ridiculous amount of wildlife, this property is by far one of our favorites. Oscar & Sandra made us feel right at home and took the best care of our guests. The house is up a hill so I would recommend a 4x4 vehicle. Situated 20 minutes from Tamarindo, 20 minutes Lola’s in Playa Avellanas, and just 30 minutes from the best meal at Villa Deevena, this house is a perfect base for getting around Guanacaste…Although, you may spend much of your trip simply enjoying life in this tastefully designed and well operated property.

Great Location

What we liked: There were six of us (2 adults and 4 kids). The house was a great size and the pool was fantastic. The location was perfect for exploring Guanacaste.Opportunities: the sliding glass doors are very heavy, and the house is very modular, so to go from one part of the house to another, you need to open multiple sliding glass doors. our little kids (7 and 9) had a hard time getting from one room to another you can’t leave them open and are no screens in the living room and kitchen. Even though we were diligent about keeping them closed, there were giant grasshoppers and tarantulas in the house which was an experience. No AC in the master bedroom

Beautiful house!

I was there for 4 days with my family and we love the property. Beautiful house, nice views, big rooms, super clean. Jordan was very nice and attentive. The staff was super helpful. I would definitely come back.

Paradise

Amazing home, with everything we could have needed for a perfect trip. Great hilltop location with stunning views and pool. Travelled with 5 teens (17-19) and two adults and had an amazing experience. The master bedroom does get hot when breezes were not blowing, but the views and layout were superb! The kitchen was the best equipped vrbo we have ever rented! Truly a chefs dream! The staff was amazing and helpful with every question answered in a very timely fashion. If you have never experienced nature and have a solid fear of bugs etc, don’t bother bc this is Costa Rica and bugs are everywhere : ) We adapted and found our Pura Vida in this magical location. One note, highly recommend a stick shift or 4 wheel vehicle, the climb up to the house can be intimidating for those coming from flat areas like Florida!

Unique! A secret to be kept!

The most beautiful house I’ve ever rented. Furniture, design, decoration ... superb! Comfortable and amazingly spacious. Only for those who really appreciate nature and enjoy it. Housekeepers are outstanding (thank you Sandra and Karina) and Stephanie (owner) is always answering your questions and helping. And for other personal reasons, it was one of the most fantastic vacactions!

Paradise in the hills

We stayed at Stephanie’s beautiful house over the Christmas holiday week and loved every moment. Our group is made up of two families with four teenagers between us, over the past several years we have traveled and rented several homes, and this one exceeded our expectations on every level. The property not only has beautiful views, an amazing garden and pool, well equipped chef’s kitchen, inspiring architecture and décor, but the staff is great too. The house was also very comfortable and had plenty of room for us to either all hang out together or find our own quiet places to read or take a nap. One highlight was our Christmas dinner, served by Gloria poolside and under the stars. Just perfect. We strongly recommend this house to anyone who is looking for a special Costa Rican escape that is within striking in distance of all kinds of great activities and sights.

Everything was great!!

We spent two months in paradise. Friends and family came in and out. The help was fantastic. We would love to go back. Costa Rica is a beautiful country.

The house was amazing. If you are planning on staying at this place, I recommend that you rent a car. If you plan to party in Tamarindo, stay in Tamarindo. The staff is friendly. We were never provided with keys to lock up after we left for the day/night; however, nothing was stolen. No warm water in one of the rooms we stayed at. The maids did a great job of cleaning up after us. The beds were really confortable. This is a "zen" type place.

SO AMAZING

The house lives up to its pictures, it is stunning and beautiful. There is a bedroom in a loft above the living room with a private bathroom. The pool is great we had so much fun in there. The living room is huge, such a large area and was good for dancing in and relaxing and everything we wanted to do. The kitchen and dining room are great and have everything you need. The two bedrooms outside the kitchen area are beautiful and amazing (my favorite). There is a pool house but I never went into it, one of the people in our group stayed in it and liked it. The view from this house is beautiful and the sunsets and sunrises leave you breathless. Down side to this property you should know about: - The "hill".... this house is on a massive hill and only a few of the taxi's we took could even make it up it, yes it is that big and steep. So plan on some serious hiking, it is a workout not to look forward to. - The people looking after the house speak almost no English at all, in fact we had a guy in our group who spoke very little Spanish and even they had a hard time communicating. The communication barrier was an issue during our stay. - I slept in one of the rooms outside, closest to the kitchen and it was an amazing room and a great view to wake up to. But I never had hot water in my private bathroom and my bedroom door was broken and would not close at all. I only had a screen on my room and bugs and a frog did get in my room. I mentioned it to the staff on the day of our arrival and they shrugged their shoulders and never fixed it the entire week I was there. - One night we forgot to turn the lights off in the pool, instead of telling us or trying to let us know they turned the lights off and locked the door to where they turn on. They just locked us out….. We did talk to them and get it back open again but it was once again a hassle. - The house is 20-25 min from town. A van to carry all of us (we were a group of 8) was 60.00 each way. We started to get 2 cars instead and that was 40.00 each way (20.00 per cab) but we had to negotiate that, some cabs wanted more. Hulio, (no idea how you spell it) drives a red car with a silver roof rack (small town, you can’t miss him) he was GREAT and took good care of us. He charged us 20.00 each way, he could make it up the hill every time and he was SUPER reliable when we called and set pick up times. Over all I would stay here again in a heartbeat, for me personally the issues were minor and did not ruin the stay.

Beautiful home with an outstanding view

I rented this home as the end of January for 8 days. I went to Costa Rica with my husband and two other couples. I have traveled to Costa Rica five times but this was the first time I decided to rent a house (I usually stay in a hotel). This home is very beautiful and has all the amenities anyone could possibly want. The view from any room in the house is spectacular. The outside deck/pool area is perfect and the breeze in the home is wonderful. The kitchen is fully equipped and we made very good use of it. The home is way up on the hill and about a 15 minute drive to the closest beach (Avellanas) but once you are in the home you never want to leave. I strongly recommend this house for a large group of people. It is a great house to have a wonderful & unforgettable vacation!!!
