Come escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life with a relaxing stay on Leisure Lane. Our 4-bedroom 3-bathroom home is nestled on a knoll, providing amazing views of Lake Norman from sunup to sunset. The lake can be enjoyed from the back deck, beside the private pool, or on the dock next to the private beach. No matter how you relax, Leisure life is just steps away.
House is on the corner at the end of a serene cull de sac in Asbury Park, right on Lake Norman. This oasis updated and renovated in April 2023 with increased living space, high end furnishings, fantastic amenities, inviting décor and an attention to detail focused on providing you with a wonderful location, and multiple indoor & outdoor areas for dining and entertaining to enjoy with your family and friends. The property has a gentle slope from the private pool to the dock and beach area where swimming, kayaking and floating are waiting. This stunning home is only 3 miles from grocery, restaurants, bars & shopping and 35 minutes from Charlotte-Douglas Airport.

What a great spot! It’s very rare to find a property that’s pet friendly, has a pool, lakefront, fits everyone, and is well-maintained — this checks every box.The house was great for four adults 25-35, four adults 60, two small dogs, and a five-month old. The inside of the house is great, but the outdoor space is where we really spent most of our time. We rented a boat from LakeEffects that was delivered to the private dock - we used this every day. We also swam in the beautiful, large pool every day, and used the kayaks once. There are two baths and two beds upstairs (primary w/king, second w/ Queen) and one bath and two beds (Queen room and bunk room) downstairs.The hosts were very communicative and helpful. Highly recommend!!!

We had a great vacation on Lake Norman. The pool was wonderful and the beach area kept the children occupied. The house was well stocked with beach towels, pool floats and toys. All you need is your sunscreen!

The property is clean and well appointed. Everything you need is there from cooking gadjets to beach towels. We spent a lot of time in the pool and some did daily kayaking. The host was the best I ever experienced. Always super friendly and on top of everything. I would 100% recommend renting this property!!!

The owners have thought of everything! The kitchen is well stocked and the furniture and beds are comfortable. With the pool and the boat rental we had no need to leave the property! John is a very attentive host and I highly recommend this home. I have already rebooked for next summer!!

Family Reunion at the Lake

Our family had a great time at Lake Norman. The house was perfect for us and my grandchildren lived in the pool (with their PaPa). The house has everything you can possibly need and John & Laurie were fantastic hosts.We highly recommend this place.

Perfect spot .

Awesome place. We had everything we needed. Kids played that Apples to Apples game for hours! The beds were so comfortable, I hated to leave. You have a beautiful home.

We enjoyed our family trip to Lake Norman at John's spacious house. The house is beautiful and we enjoyed using all the amenities, including all the games and kayaks. The pool was such a great size and we appreciated having both a shallow and deep end for multiple swimming abilities. The house is located in a great neighborhood and we felt welcomed by many of the neighbors! John was very responsive to all our questions and any issues that came up. Thank you for a great week away!

This property is just what we needed. It is exactly as advertised and in a quiet, lovely neighborhood. The house itself met the needs for our entire family and was very comfortable along with beautiful views. Games for the teens were plentiful and even though it was still a little chilly, they were in and out of the pool most days. We were very thankful for the ice maker downstairs, as that came in handy every day. We would love to return to this beautiful home, and hope to have the opportunity soon.

Wonderful house!

John’s house was perfect for our family trip to Lake Norman. Super clean and well equipped with many activities for the kids. Would highly recommend this house and hope to return next year! We especially loved the kayaks.

Graduation

Great place to stay while celebrating my daughter’s college graduation from Davidson! Place was great. Loved all the amenities/ pool, games, foosball table, air hockey table etc, The owner was great and was very responsive! Definitely would stay again!!

Wonderful place

We were displaced from our home in Asheville after Helene, and John was so kind to welcome our large family, pets and all, for an extended stay. The house was perfectly clean and had everything we could possibly need or want. The kitchen was very well stocked- everything in it seemed new. The kids loved all the table games and the closet with even more games and books just for them. The pool was beautiful and with amazing lake views. The neighborhood is very peaceful, and even the neighbors were so kind and welcoming. It really was a wonderful stay (under the circumstances), and we’d love to stay again sometime.

Family reunion

We had planned this trip about a year ago. Unfortunately we started our trip the day of Hurricane Helene. We were very lucky that we did not loose electricity but lots of wind damage to the area. The host was very responsive to our needs after the storm. The house was well suited to our family gathering. We loved being on the water and using the kayaks!

Perfect Family Vacation

These property owners truly thought of everything, and then some. We boated all day, then relaxed in the massive pristine private pool with too many games and pool toys to even list. The home was updated and impeccable. Plenty of parking, well appointed kitchen, great grill and fire pit are just a few of the amenities that we enjoyed. Thanks for a fantastic experience!

Best vacation at Lake Norman!

This was my husband and my 5th time to Lake Norman. We were also with friends and a few family members who had never been before. The house is just as it looks on the site. It is very clean and decorated so nice! The kitchen is wonderful with updated appliances and pretty much anything you would need if you would like to stay in and cook. The location is also great if you would like to go out. The dock was awesome to have, as our friends brought their boat down. The house was just perfect! The pool was great to come back to after a day on the lake. The host has so many games to keep you entertained. I can’t say enough good things about the host! They are great! VERY responsive if you need anything at all. We will definitely be back!!

Most Relaxing Stay

If you are looking for an amazing place to relax and recharge, this is it! The house and pool area are perfect for chilling and relaxing with family and friends. Our host was was very responsive to any questions we had. Overall great experience!

Absolutely beautiful

The property is in great shape. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. Two views of the lake, sunrise from the top deck was so picturesque! Plenty of space in the g House for the adults to have their space away from the younger adults. The pool was refreshing on hot days. We rented a boat and had it delivered to the dock. I highly recommend this!! The house had everything we needed. Grocery store was just a short drive away. As well as restaurants. Duckworths was our favorite! I highly recommend this property to anyone looking to unwind and just kick back on their vacation.

Fabulous house with lots of options

We spent a great week at this lovely home. Lots of kayaks to explore the lake and a great pool with a bunch of floats and other toys to enjoy when you wanted a change of pace. Also air hockey, foosball, darts, ping pong, ax throwing (plastic), and cornhole plus a number of board games we didn’t even get to! Lots of comfy outdoor sitting options with great views. And I highly recommend doing a captained boat rental! Spent a fabulous morning on the lake cruising and tubing. Thanks to John for being such a wonderful host and answering any questions quickly and patiently. Hopefully we can return in the future!

Family Vacation 2024

As advertised. Adequate accommodations for 8 adults and 2 children. Good selection of indoor and outdoor fun. Pool was nice and clean. Before arriving, our family was planning to make several daily trips into neighboring towns for shopping, etc. The place was so nice that we only left for a day of boating. No one wanted to leave. Shout out to Lake Effects Marina for their exceptionally easy rental process and very friendly staff. Highly recommend them for a day on the lake. Kids enjoyed the beach and fishing off of the pier. Caught a bluegill. Ice maker, filtered water, beach towels. extras that you don't usually get were much appreciated. Any questions that we had were immediately answered by the host. We would definitely recommend and will consider staying again.

Family holiday
