Hiker is a cozy cabin in the historic Glen Eden Resort, a rare gem and outdoorsman's paradise. The cabin sleeps 6, with the tennis courts and playground just steps away. Listen to the calming sounds of the Elk River, a short walk behind the cabin affording access to fishing. Wonderful hiking trails in the pristine Routt National Forest are nearby, as are boating and paddle boarding. The Hiker Chalet also features a wood-burning stove, and a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, fridge, satellite TV, and WiFi. The master bedroom has a Queen bed. The second bedroom contains two twin beds. Additional guests can be accommodated in the loft, which has two twins and an additional queen bed.

Comfortable cabin, amenities and vibes all around. Though we were there to honor the passing of a loved one, the serenity of the property and hospitality and service made things feel homey and welcoming. Just the sort of thing one needs during a tough time.

Two Week Fall Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Had a wonderful experience staying at the Glen Eden in the Hiker cabin. We stayed for just under two weeks. Our cabin was VERY clean and cozy. The staff was fantastic and very accommodating to any questions or requests we had (ie. extra towels, ice, laundry). Look forward to another stay in the future!
