Sip a steaming hot cup of coffee while taking in an unparalleled view of the Metolius River only steps away from the cabin. Catch up on your letter writing or simply spend a lazy afternoon listening to the river roll by. 

With several cabin features newly remodeled, you will find your accommodations fresh, spacious, and inviting. The loft offers plenty of room to spread out for an extended stay or comfortable weekend getaway. Upstairs you will find a luxurious king bed and downstairs a comfortable queen bed awaits you in the private second bedroom.

Relaxing and great location by the river

Great place, nice that there were BBQ'S set for use. A couple hikes daily, relaxing next to river & made a great meal and enjoyed sitting outside with my son eating, talking and taking in the views.

Beautiful Setting

On this one, the reality of the setting was so true to the marketing photos, simply amazing. The lovely little cabin could use a window air conditioning unit. A small unit upstairs would take care of the entire cabin. Our issue with the internet upon arrival was instantly solved. Finally, checkout at 11 is a little early for such an expensive property. Noon seems more appropriate. Checkout time notwithstanding, I would come back for sure; maybe in the fall next time.

The cabin was not as clean as we had expected.

The cabin was not as clean as we had expected. It had not been swept or vacuumed very well. There were stray hairs on the floor and we found a pair of thong underwear just under the bed (at the edge) that had been overlooked by the cleaning crew. Not thoroughly cleaned! We also had to ask for extra towels and toilet paper the very first day, as there were only two hand towels for three people and only one extra roll of toilet paper for our five day stay. See above

Natures' Perfection: The River, The Cabin

We had a beautiful stay at Cabin #7. The cabin is clean, nicely decorated and has all the essentials for a get away. The beds are warm and comfortable. The cabin is perfectly situated with a large deck and Adirondack chairs that directly face the beautiful Metolius River...making it easy to cast a fly fishing line into the river and refresh your coffee effortlessly. Sitting on the deck allows hearing the river flow, being surrounded by a variety of birds, and watching ninja squirrels race headfirst down the pines. We ate twice at Hola restaurant (steps from the cabin) and enjoyed chicken tortilla soup and chili relents. The camp store (also close by the cabin) has all kinds of snacks and fly fishing equipment. Sisters is a short and enjoyable jaunt as are Tumalo Falls. This cabin was so beautiful and peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and will be back.

Accommodations were wonderful! Loved being able to watch the river from the comfort of the cottage. It was a much better view than anticipated. Would highly recommend this jewel!

Anything Fishy about This Place?

Actually, no -- except the cabin was decorated in a fly fishing scheme that was charmingly well done. The cabin, built in 1990, was fresh, up-to-date, and well-maintained inside and out. Great views from windows and large deck across the lawn to the beautiful Metolius River. A few minutes walk across the bridge to the Metolius River Store and 15 mile drive through beautiful pine forests to Sisters. Great hiking trails along the banks of the Metolius not open to horses, bikes, and motorized vehicles. The Hola restaurant adjacent to the Resort was a pleasant, delicious surprise in having well-prepared standard Mexican choices but also unique Peruvian dishes. Quiet, peaceful, and highly recommended for a relaxing stay!
