The Space:

Treat your family to a fantastic modern vacation retreat with a private backyard hot tub in the heart of Tollgate, one of Oregon's most authentic western communities! This two-bedroom cabin is nestled on nearly an acre of Ponderosa Pines with a large beautiful-fenced grass backyard with plenty of games to enjoy. There are two decks for relaxation and entertainment.



The cabin has contemporary furnishings for a refreshing take on a Western-style getaway. With an open floor plan and spacious loft, your group will enjoy congregating together or find a private spot for some quiet time with a good book. The interior is light and sunny, with a fully equipped kitchen for preparing home-cooked meals. Grab a stool at the island bar to sip a glass of wine, or seat everyone around the dining table for family meals.



The main level has a primary suite with a full bath. Upstairs has a full bath, a second bedroom, and an open loft with a full-sized futon. (Please note the upstairs with its wide-set railing is not suitable for young children). Whether curled up by the fire with the snow falling outside or enjoying a soak in the hot tub on a crisp morning, you'll love calling this special vacation rental getaway home during your next Central Oregon adventure!

Tollgate is a peaceful community where you can enjoy amenities like a swimming pool, tennis/pickleball court, basketball court, and bike paths; meanwhile, the unique downtown shopping and dining of Sisters is just three miles away, or larger Bend is 20 miles east. In the winter months, skiers and boarders can drive 20 minutes to the family-friendly Hoodoo Ski Area or travel about an hour to world-class Mt. Bachelor. Nearby sno-parks offer tubing, snowmobile rides, Nordic skiing, and snowshoeing. Choose your summertime adventure: hiking through the national forest or along the Metolius or McKenzie Rivers, swimming in a mountain lake, fishing in the Lower Deschutes or Metolius River, golfing at Aspen Lakes or Black Butte Ranch, mountain biking on Peterson Ridge Trail, whitewater rafting on the Deschutes River, a backcountry horseback ride, or sample craft beers along the Bend Ale Trail.

They forgot to give us the access code and it took awhile to actually get into the house which was annoying but other than that it was an incredible stay. Beautiful home and well taken care of. Beds were comfy. Perfect area. There was a peacock that hung out with us the entire time which my kids loved.

Three women stayed a week in this home for the week of Quilters Affair and the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show. The house and grounds were clean and well stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals and host a few friends. A lovely, quiet location a few miles west of Sisters. We spent mornings enjoying our coffee on the deck and watching the deer and the birds. Evenings were spent on the deck chatting about our day with a glass of wine. The bonus was the peacock! He was glorious with his feathers and chasing the huge bugs late afternoon. There is no AC but the fans and window/shade adjustments worked well to keep the house comfortable during our stay in July. The futon in the loft is firm but works for one adult. We did not use the hot tub due to our schedule but it was clean and ready.

Clean, Quiet, Hiking Trails & comfortable beds!

We loved staying here. Kitchen is so well stocked, beds are actually comfortable with good mattresses and linens, beyond the backyard and hot tub is just forest and trails for as far as you want to wander, so a great place to get in a morning run or walk.

Lovely family home.

Really nice place to stay in Sisters. It was so nice it was hard to pull ourselves away to go exploring! Clean, comfortable, quiet while close enough to town for take out.
