Knot One- Balcony View of ICW- Dog Friendly!

About this space
Perfect space for two, located one room in from end of hotel on second floor with King bed, ceiling fan, Smart TV (no cable), dorm-like kitchenette, coffee maker, dorm refrigerator, microwave, full bathroom. Private balcony overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway (ICW), views of Coinjock Marina & Restaurant (5 min) & 30 min to the Kitty Hawk Pier & beaches of the OBX! Boat ramp & slips available (extra charge) & plenty of parking!

NOTE: Building is older as pictured - dock infront of the building is not accessible at this time. Walk down approximately 100 feet where dock is accessible to you to fish from and enjoy the waterway up close and personal! Due to the remote location on the Intracoastal Waterway you will unplug here as WIFI is not reliable. Come enjoy all that comes with living on the Intracoastal Waterway, the boats passing by, nature and a home cooked meals at the Coinjock Marina Restaurant!
Guest access
You will have complete access to your room, the grounds, dock slip and boat ramp if needed and we welcome you to the other-side of the ICW to visit Coinjock Marina - Ship Store for convenience items and Restaurant! NOTE: Access to Marina from your room is by car or boat. Walking is really not a feasible option.
Other things to note
If you need additional space there are 3 additional rooms available. Two rooms accommodate 2 guests and two rooms accommodate 4 guests. You can view and book these additional spaces under the host profile.

Please let your host know if you are in need of a boat slip during your stay.
NOTE: If using boat ramp at the Hotel there is an 8ft clearance. Otherwise there is a boat ramp just a mile down from Coinjock Marina on Waterlilly Rd with no height restrictions.

There are external cameras at the property for security purposes and guest safety.

If you will be bringing a pet please notify your host immediately upon booking for approval by stating both the breed and size. Dogs are the only pets allowed and the maximum amount of dogs per reservation is one. Due to close proximity to other guests no aggressive breeds are allowed on property. All dogs are to be kept on lead at all time when outside of the room. Dog owner is responsible for picking up all waste from their dog and disposing in the outside trash bins.

Unit not very clean.. windows very dirty and deck and table covered with bugs, bird poop and spider webs. Dog poop at base of stairs.. very utilitarian unit. Bed comfortable but everything else very dated. Communication with host was good and prompt. I did not communicate disappointment at time of check in but we did leave early. Refund for early check out not granted.

We stayed in Knot One and it was the perfect location and size for us. We brought our dog and his only issue was that the stairs were very dark at night and he had difficulty getting down to potty. We enjoyed dinner at the restaurant across the ICW (reserve the prime rib!!!) and even had live music. We came by boat and reserved a slip with the Coinjock Marina. Our slip was right next to our room. We have already started planning our next trip to Coinjock!

We enjoyed the peace and quiet. Also it’s just a short drive to great dining at the Coinjock Marina. Although the weather could have been better, driving down the coast to see the ocean is always something we like to do. The waves were amazing!
