Escape to a tranquil retreat at this 4-bedroom cottage in Mears. With 1 king bed, 3 queen beds, and 3 bunk beds, this welcoming space is perfect for families or groups. Cozy up in the living room with 2 futons for extra sleeping space. Enjoy modern amenities like WiFi, heating, a washing machine, and AC. Relax in the 2 spacious bathrooms available. Enjoy all that Mears has to offer when you stay at our place located just off of the Silver Lake Sand Dunes and Lake Michigan. Cottage will comfortably sleep up to 17 people with King master, 2 queen rooms and the 4th bedroom has a large twin over queen and 2 large twin bunk beds and if that's not enough there are 2 very comfortable queen futons in the loft area. only a couple minutes to walk to Lake Michigan beach and the dunes.

The home was very nice. WiFi was great. Very secluded and peaceful. Plenty of parking for our two full sized trucks and 30ā€™ car hauler for our sand toys. Highly recommend staying here!

The house was perfect for our annual family getaway. It was a short 10 minute walk to the beach (dunes). It was spacious and fit everyoneā€™s needs. We highly recommend and would stay again.

Great Place

We had an amazing stay at this newly built home near Lake Michigan in Silver Lake! The house was spotless, beautifully designed, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing trip. The location was perfectā€”just minutes from the beach and local attractions. Our host was friendly, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in a great spot!

The property was quite new and spacious...more than enough room for the 6 of us. The beds were comfortable, we all slept quite well. Since the home is built right next to the Silver Lake Dunes, it is hard to keep sand out...the prior occupants apparently hadn't swept the floor. Communication with Rick was great...timely responses to my questions. The beach was a bit of a walk, but no matter because we preferred the Golden Twp beach on Lake Michigan...a great family beach with a stream running through it.

Nice, big house

There was plenty of space, nice walk to the private beach. It was mostly clean overall. There couldā€™ve been a few more kitchen appliances such as a blender, pots, pans, and the the ice/water maker from the fridge didnā€™t work. The fridge was leaking water from the bottom too.The hot water for showers wasnā€™t enough for our party of 13. Itā€™s advertised for 18 people. It wouldā€™ve been nice to have a grill to cook the fish we caught. We went out and bought a small charcoal grill.The beds were comfortable. The loft was nice with plenty of space and beds.Overall

Nice spot! Beautiful new build with lots of space fur a large group (we had 12). This house is located in a secluded neighborhood right on Lake Michigan. A few things of note: 1. If youā€™re bringing a big group, you may wish to bring extra kitchen equipment like pots and pans. There is no grill, we did all our cooking in the kitchen.2. Beach access is roughly a 1/3 mile walk from the property and vehicles are not allowed to park at the access. If youā€™re bringing lots of stuff to the beach such as canopies and heavy coolers, you will want to drive your stuff to the beach access, drop it off, and then return the vehicle to the property and walk back.3. There are no window blinds/shades so when the sun comes up, youā€™ll know it immediately. If you want to sleep in, suggest bringing an eye mask.All in all, a very nice place thatā€™s well worth the charge. Check out instructions are provided in a book in the living room so expectations are clear. A/C works great. Lots of camping chairs available to lounge around the yard/ deck with. Ample parking for 5-6 vehicles.
