Located just about 8 miles out of Walker MN, on the shores of Leach Lake, Vacation with your friends and family at our large lake shore Condo. Situated on the quiet shores of horseshoe bay on Leech Lake. Our Condo is large enough for multi families with 3 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a spacious living and dining area, Gather around the large Island in the full stocked Kitchen, and enjoy each otherā€™s company while preparing gourmet meals. The Condo has satellite TV, DVD player, and High Speed Wireless Internet for those that need to check in at work or e-mails.

Bring your boat and experience the world class fishing on legendary Leech Lake. Leech Lake is the 3rd largest lake in the Minnesota! Fishing is abundant from both the dock, and by boat or local guide service. Trophy Muskie and Walleye are taken each year from the lake as well as plentiful pan fish. The Minnesota DNR considers Leech Lake one of the top walleye producing lakes in the State.

Enjoy the Great Outdoors!! Leech Lake It is located in the heart of the Chippewa National Forest for easy access to public hunting. Just minutes away from grouse hunting and deer hunting in the Paul Bunyan State Forest.

Enjoy boating and water sports on the lake, Leech Lake has many sandy beaches with crystal clear water to boat to. Pull up and beach your boat at bear island or sand point with many other boaters and sunbathers.

The city of Walker is easily accessible by a short drive, or by boat, snowmobile or biking the Heartland Bike Trail. Beautiful view and wonderful amenities

Relaxing

The property was open and clean. Great space to just visit with friends and enjoy the view even during the winter. Communication with the management was prompt. Main level was a plus and easy access to outside from the patio. Would definitely stay again.

Clean, comfortable and relaxing

We just enjoyed a peaceful weekend relaxing on leech lake. This condo had everything we needed to unwind and recharge. It is clean & comfortable. The view of the lake and the convenience of a lower level unit was perfect. Vacationing in northern minnesota during the winter should not be overlooked!

I wish i could review this property but the owner double booked and we were forced to another resort. We found this out when we were fifteen minutes away to start our week long vacation! He did try to make it right and found a resort nearby with a cabin available for the week. He also covered our extra expenses as we had to purchase items not provided by the resort we were switched to. We still had a nice trip, but the start was jarring to say the least!

Horseshoe Bay - Leech Lake summer '22

We have stayed at the HB resort several times over the years, so in general we know what to expect. We park our runabout in the marina and having the protected harbor is a big plus. Kurt's condo is well equipped and having main floor access is a nice convenience. Webber gas & char coal grills are great for patio cooking.

A Great Up-North Vacation!!

We had a wonderful time. The resort and amenities were great! The condo was very spacious; we never felt crowded, with 6 adults and 2 kids. We loved that it was on the first floor; we could sit on the patio and watch the kids play on the big lawn. The condo was very well equipped, with everything we needed. The owner was responsive and helpful. There were just two things that would have made it a nicer stay. First, the linens need to all be replaced. The towels were all mismatched and some had bleach stains and holes in them. Some of the sheets were that way too, and the rug in the bathroom was pretty dirty. Nice new fresh white sheets and towels would have been wonderful. Secondly, a deep clean is needed. For example, the garbage can cupboard was really gross. The insides of the cupboards could be cleaned and organized a little better, with fewer personal items in them. These things didn't ruin our vacation, but for the money we paid, it could have been even better!

Incredible Property, Incredible lake!

We came to leech lake looking for some perch to catch. This property was right on the lake and was incredibly beautiful. It was very very well maintained with many amenities. The beds were unbelievably comfortable and I didn't want to leave. The only con.... which is so minor. Sooo many light switches and it took us a while to figure out what does what lol Next time we head to leech lake, this is where we will choose to go. We'll worth it! Thank you so much!

Modern condo with great beach access and location

We enjoyed our week here, which was fun and easy with a great kitchen, clean and modern laundry and bathrooms, and wonderfully furnished and appointed living spaces. The direct access to the beach is a huge plus, and the resort has kayaks and SUPs to grab and take out into the bay. Awesome sunrise views too!

Family Gathering

The condo is very spacious we had plenty of room. The owners were easy to communicate with and very accommodating. I noticed the chairs were different around the table than what was shown on the VRBO listing. I liked the way gaining access was setup. It was nice having the extra refrigerator.

Great for families

My family had a chance to use the property for a few days in July. They had nothing but positive things to say. They LOVED the condo and said that it would have been more than enough space for the nine of us. Having access to the resort was also a very nice feature. I also need to point out that just was a wonderful host. We would definitely go back.

Friendly resort, spacious well equipped lodging

We found the place nice and very well equipped - everything you could need, really. Would be especially well suited to a large group with very young children. The resort is quiet and very low key, with a nice friendly vibe.

Wonderful!

Our stay at this condo was great! The spacious layout easily accommodated 5 adults for a week of summer fun, and could have held more. The grounds and beach amenities were just what we needed to relax and enjoy Minnesota beauty.

Great condo

Our family of 6 adults and 2 infants thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay. The condo was perfect for our needs, and could have comfortably accommodated more folks. It was clean and very cozy. We brought our own infant beds and there was plenty of floor space within the bedrooms to allow comfort for everyone. The condo is big enough to allow sleeping and family time to happen simultaneously. The large main fridge, and extra refrigerator in the pantry were put to good use as we cooked and ate most of our meals in the condo. The kitchen easily accommodated many cooks working together. The resort has wonderful layout and amenities were easy to access. All details were handled quickly and easily with Kurt by phone. We will rent again!

Nice condo, other issues.

I spent a lot of time searching for the perfect place to take our family of seven plus grandpa for a week of fishing and swimming. We chose this condo because of its walkout access to the beach and spacious floorpan. In that regard it was even better than expected. The condo had plenty of room, towels, bedding, kitchen supplies. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. The washer, dryer, and hot water all worked great. Wifi was acceptable. The resort had plenty of water toys such as stand up paddle boards, kayaks, and and water bikes. There was bait for sale onsite and a restaurant that we didnā€™t try. The downside: The people in the unit above were noisy, we could hear every footstep and toilet flush. The nail: Mayflies, zillions. We had no idea June into July would provide us this experience. I would recommend you avoid this season because it was horrible. It would be a nice place to stay later in July-August. The fish donā€™t bite because they eat mayflies instead. You can't be outside because the mayflies are dead and dying and landing everywhere and smell disgusting and crunch underfoot and need to be shoveled off the paths. Coating windows and walls and the beach and the grass. The beach would have been nice of the mayflies hadn't taken it over. Being that it was a resort the employees did an admirable job of shoveling, vacuuming and hauling the carcasses over by the dumpster. The mayflies spoiled our trip. If you bring a boat be warned that you will need to pay extra to tie it to a dock. There are no campfire locations for the condo so donā€™t expect nights with s'mores. The resort was pretty much empty, we swam at the pool a lot and nobody else was there. Maybe the rest of the world knows to avoid Mayfly season. Last of all we sadly forgot two pillows and two blankets when we left. We were informed that they couldnā€™t find them. I guess the condo is even better stocked now.

Open floor plan, lovely setting!

The condo was beautiful, had upgrades and open floor plan that makes a small group very comfortable. FULLY stocked kitchen essentials and more than enough linens. The setting was beautiful, close to the beach. Lovely facilities as well.

We purchased this condo in 2010 unfinished, we finished ourself as a getaway for our friends and family. We choose horseshoe bay condos for several reasons, the location, the fishing, the beach, and the added amenities of the resort such as indoor pool and marina just to name a few.

Of course with two young boys in school and sports, and a busy work schedual we can't be at the lake as much as we would like so we are renting it out for other families to enjoy.

Many years ago a friend of ours had a place at Horseshoe Bay and one weekend my wife and I stopped in and seen these condos for sale and decided it was a great fit for us. We like Horseshoe bay for many reasons. One is its beautifully protected sand beach just right out our front patio door that is super family friendly. And for me obviously the great fishing, I love to fish walleyes and there are few better places than Leech Lake. Horseshoe bay is centrally located on the lake so within easy boating distance to many of the fishing hot spots I love to fish..

O que faz essa propriedade ser Ćŗnica?

The condos at horseshoe bay are conveniently located. We are just 8 miles from Walker and all its great shopping. We are only 5 mile from the casino, only a few miles from Moondance for the great concerts. We are located right among Horseshoe Bay Resort and have access to all there amenities, the indoor pool, the hot tub and sauna, the exercise room, fish cleaning shack, and if we are too lazy to cook we can walk right out the door and eat at the Iron Fire Grill or just stop in for drinks conversations at their little bar. They have a few supplies like ice; candy treats for the kids too.
