Enjoy your vacation in Villa Marea Alta, a peaceful oasis on Cangrejera Beach. The secluded house replete with all comforts is in a spectacular setting nestled directly on the beach.

The 2-story house is a design of rustic Central American Hacienda Style. The second floor has 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. All bedrooms open to a spacious balcony that offers awe-inspiring views of the ocean. The first floor has a fully equipped kitchen, large dining area and living room with large flat screen TV with cable as well as an additional bedroom, bathroom and powder room. The open floor plan is the perfect setting to enjoy friends and family, to mingle and dine. The house is equipped with Wifi.

An expansive outdoor terrace leads you to the beautifully landscaped garden with private pool, bathroom and spacious gazebo. The garden offers plenty of shade and is a perfect way to retreat and reconnect. Relax and recharge in one of the hammocks while listening to the ocean breeze. Take one step and you are on the private, peaceful and breathtaking Cangrejera Beach that lends itself to revitalizing walks. The warm ocean waters invite you to surf and swim.

The house is conveniently located. It is 20 minutes from the airport, and 45 minutes from San Salvador, the capital. Only 20 minutes away is La Libertad, a bustling surfing and port town, with restaurants, shopping and a fantastic seafood market.

Everything about our stay was absolutely incredible! From entering the site being greeted by the on-site host, to the house design everything properly spaced out, clean, all the amenities you need. The calm beachfront property with little to no people, beautiful views, away crowds. Perfect for the family. This was probably the best rental house I have ever stayed at

Amazing!

My Family and I had a great time. We stayed here for 7 days. The property is very close to the Airport and El Puerto de La Libertad, Surf City.. I would also highly suggest that if you are staying here to use the Service of their Cook (Sra. Xiomara). She cooked for us every Salvadorean Plate and more. Every meal that she prepared for us was very delicious. Javier their house Mgr was also very helpful and always available with anything you may need. My Family and I would definitely stay here again.

Pictures don’t make justice to this beautiful property. My family and I enjoyed every aspect if this house, well equipped. Having Xiomara to come and cook for all of us was a plus, I highly recommend to pay extra for the service she provides. Everything is excellent except for the road to this property. Drive slow to prevent damage to your vehicle. We will definitely return

Nice beach house, very spacious.

Our family stay here was very nice! Beware if you are driving yourself here the roads are rough and our google maps sent us in the wrong direction to a dead end. Luckily the host helped us get there on "Cangrejera Road" which is the actual road to get there. The house is about 30min away from the closest grocery stores and markets. The house itself was very big and had plenty of room for every one, all of the rooms have a/c in them which is nice. The living room and kitchen were also nice, you may want to take your own utensils, knives ect. since the ones that are there are not in the best shape. We enjoyed the pool and outdoor patio especially the kids. The beach has very big and strong waves so we were not able to get in the beach and enjoy it. That part was a bummer we were only able to put our feet in the water since the waves were so strong. The house is nice it could use some updates, but overall happy with our stay here.

This villa is AMAZING. We are a fairly large family (8) and there was more than enough space for everyone to be comfortable. And enough bathroom which is very important with many people in our group. Communication with the property owner was great A couple days before our trip we had to test for covid and unfortunately we had to delay our trip and the owner was very accommodating and understanding. we also asked for a cook for our meals for the entire stay and she was absolutely perfect she made breakfast lunch and dinner and I have picky eaters but they enjoyed her cooking very much. The groundskeeper was also always around if we needed help with anything. The only cons was the road to get to the Villa very hard on tires so we caught a flat on our rental and is extremely hard to find at night. Also if you have little ones please keep an eye on them as there’s a pool and you are right next to the beach and the waves can get pretty intense. but other than that I’d have to say if I ever visited El Salvador again I would definitely stay here thank you so much for your hospitality!!

Excellent stay

The property is accurate in its listing. We had a wonderful time there with all the amenities. Isaias the care taker and his family were wonderful. They helped us with all we needed and kept the property in excellent condition. The only issue we had was with one of the TV's other that our stay was great. We will return in the future.

The house is big, for a big family. The caretaker were there helping us and anything we need.I love the gazebo,and enjoy breakfasts by the beach. The house is clean.

Relaxed and Gorgeous for Family Reunion

My family and I decided to travel to El Salvador on the country's "Holiday" week and many of the Beach Villas were booked. When Claudia contacted me in regards to their Beach Villa I was so happy that I was going to get the opportunity to have my family reunion as I first had hoped by the beach. I am very appreciative of Claudia who took plenty of time with me through the website to ensure I had everything I needed for my stay. The owners of the home also took time to arrange two cooks for the duration of my stay and introduced me to the caretakers of the home. The food was great, the cooks took great care of us! The caretakers were always welcoming and ensuring we had everything we needed. Wow... This home had so much charm, I loved the tranquility of the location, beautiful views, nice private beach in our back yard, hammocks.. everywhere... My family was so happy with this privacy we were able to enjoy our family reunion to the max. The two negatives found were to beware of the road when you drive your car to get to the home. It is not well kept and while this is not the homeowners responsibility just be aware it's rough. The other negative was regarding my security deposit not refunded due to a few broken items. I only wish the family would have contacted me to discuss the reason why a portion of the deposit was not refunded.

Shangri-La in El Salvador

If you want to discover the beauty and charm of El Salvador, this is the house to rent and discover this endearing country. The home has every western amenity you could possibly want and yet still retains the flavor of the natural environs. There is a pool, which is lovely for those who like to swim in a pool or lounge by one, but the beach is right out front and gorgeous. My husband is an avid surfer and found a break right out front with no one on it! Our son and his friends got to watch hatching turtles by moonlight and witness their march back to the ocean, memorable. We had a car so were able to drive to La Roca and surf there too. - -This is beautiful country and beautiful home-- you won't be disappointed.Magical!
