BEACHFRONT on a Budget! ~ Condo Sereno ~ Low Beachfront Rate!

Rate is in US dollars.

This cute 2 BR/2 BA condo has a master bedroom with a king sized bed & an en-suite bath. The second bedroom has lots of space and two twin beds. There is a full guest bathroom too.

Air conditioning is available in each bedroom and the main living space. There was a CO and SMOKE DETECTOR in the common area as well as one of each inside of each bedroom. Guests deactivate them seasonally.

The kitchen comes equipped with a refrigerator, stove top, a microwave, coffee makers, a margarita blender, a water cooler, a counter oven, & a slow cooker.

Condo Sereno has wireless internet that reaches to the pool.

Condo Sereno is located in the Suites Malvinas, an older three-story six-plex. It is on the second floor. There is no elevator. Suites Malvinas is on a cul-de-sac which makes for low-traffic. There is one off-street parking spot. In addition, the caretakers of the property live on-site, gates are locked in the evenings and lights are on for safety.

There is a shaded private upper level beach with lots of room for entertaining, relaxing with a book or taking in an always spectacular sunset. The garden area near the pool offers plenty of room to spread out and relax! The common area with the Z-shaped pool & palapa is very inviting. The pool is well maintained, and has two levels; a shallow-ish end and a deeper end for a refreshing dip. Our unit has two dedicated sling lounge chairs.

If you fancy the ocean and the beach, we have a beach umbrella, a mat, & beach chairs.

Disclaimer: We do not think you can find a 2BR 2BA on the beach at this price. But, we ask you to remember that Condo Sereno is Beachfront on a Budget, not Beachfront with a Butler. As the reviews state, people seeking luxury accommodations / perfection might not enjoy this place. And, there is no iron.

Great location, very nice pool area and beach, a little rustic inside.

The pool area and beach access are excellent, right there on the beach. Location is just a block or so from the start of the beachfront restaurant area. A little rustic inside the condo, but everything you need is there. Very friendly owners, and great service from the property manager staff! We had an excellent two week stay!

Enjoyed our week at Jen and Edā€™s condo. Itā€™s on the second floor in a 6-unit building. According to others we spoke with itā€™s the nicest unit in the building. It has 2 good size bedrooms. The bed and pillows were super comfy. Tons of towels. Fast wi-fi. We had an issue with the door lock battery dying but a quick call to Nancy (manager) brought a key and new batteries. Jen is very prompt at returning messages and so easy to deal with. Location is great and we would stay here again!

Great beach front location.

We had an amazing time. Bucerias shops and bands were just a few blocks away. The live-in building managers were out caring for the grounds and pool everyday. Property manager met us there, did a quick orientation, and was just a text away.

Cute and cozy!

We stayed at Condo Sereno for 2 weeks over Christmas. Excellent location and condo is very well equipped. Bedz are very comfortable. Lovely view of the sunsets from condo balcony. Pool is not heated and there are no steps to access, only a ladder. Might be a consideration for those with some mobility issues. There are no umbrellas at the pool but you can find shade. Reyes and Ramone, the caretakers, are lovely. Nancy is a very attentive manager. Owner Jen was also great. Definitely a hidden gem!!

Hidden Treasure among giants (condos).

This place is our favourite place to rent on vacation in BucerĆ­as. Itā€™s in a perfect location which is close to all the restaurants in town but far enough you only hear the waves crash onto the beach. The view is second to none. B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L. Nancy(property manager), Ramone & Reyes(caretakers) were So helpful with all our inquiries. Thank you to owner Jen for making her place available for others to enjoy....would love to come back next year!

Small, quiet, lovely place

Clean, not fancy, but very well stocked. Easy walk to bus, taxi and store. Close to more restaurants than you could possibly visit in a week. We especially enjoyed Mr and Mrs Fish, and Red Apple Place. Would definitely go back.

Perfect Getaway

I doubt if you could get a better deal on a beachfront condo with all these amenities and conveniences. Easy second floor walk-up, close to stores, market, restaurants, and taxis. Comfortable beds and furniture, ocean view from the terrace, beautiful garden and clean pool, a shaded rooftop beach next to the pool for watching the kite boarders and listening to the surf. Peace and privacy. Plenty of clean towels, beach towels, beach chairs and umbrella. Everything you need--the owner has thought of every detail. If you are not happy staying in this condo, I don't want to know you! We will be back and we will bring bincoulars for watching the kite surfers, frigate birds, and sailboarders. This review does not even begin to describe the tranquility of this lovely condo.

Comfortable condo, fabulous location

This was my 2nd stay at condo Sereno and it was as perfect as I remembered. Stayed for about 2 weeks, love the location and proximity to the plaza, short walk to everything. Jen is great to work with, couldn't ask for a better owner to deal with and Nancy the property manager is accessible, helpful and very responsive. We ran into an issue with one of the AC units going out during our stay but Nancy and Jen got it replaced right away with minimal disruption. Great access to the beach with a fantastic beach massage therapist down the beach to the right in the brown tent (not the white one). Be sure to see her (Yolanda), she will actually do a deep tissue massage, 1 hour for 250 pesos! Recommend this place to anyone who wants a great stay out of the resort areas and close to the great local people who couldn't be nicer!

Very pleasant stay

This property is clean and nicely equipped. Very close to restaurants and the beach, with private beach access and a nice private pool. Nothing fancy, but very convenient and safe. Property manager is very available and helpful!

Relaxing and fantastic Bucerias location!

The condo was clean and the kitchen had all the dishes/appliances etc... that we needed! The view is so awesome! Loved walking right to the beach! And soooo many wonderful restaurants that are so close. We used the bus system as well and it was perfect! The condo had beach chairs, umbrella, towels, everything!! The property mgr Nancy was wonderful! Is was also great that Nikki picked us up from the airport, and even took us to the grocery store on the way to the condo!! everything was wonderful!

We really enjoyed staying at this little gem! It was extremely clean and private!

This was our first experience renting a condo in Bucerias. We would do it again in a heartbeat! Jen was very helpful and accommodating. We were grateful for the airport pick up and drop off. Nikki even took us for groceries. :) The pool and shaded area above the beach were wonderful. It was very private and quiet. Would not hesitate to rent this condo again- hopefully in the near future!

Fantastic!! Loved staying right on the beach!

Everything we needed! 5 min walk to town square. Lots of restaurants nearby. Grounds and pool kept clean. Right on the beach. Quiet. Will definitely come back

Great value, fantastic location

This condo is a great value and the location couldn't be better. At the time of our stay, the condition was a little rough but nothing that bothered us or interfered with our enjoyment. Looks like there have been some updates since our stay so I can't wait to come back and see that. Location is just a short walk to the center, very close to a pharmacy and Kiosko. Jen was fantastic to work with and once on site, Nancy and Sally were terrific too. We took advantage of Sally's airport transportation service which I highly recommend to anyone staying here. Everything we needed was there for an enjoyable "girls" trip. I would not hesitate to recommend the condo to anyone, great for long or short term stays and up to 4 people.

Perfect getaway

My daughter and I just returned from a week stay at condo Sereno. As she explains, it's not the ritz, but it's clean, comfortable, safe, right on the beach, and we enjoyed every minute we were there. The beds were comfortable, the cable tv was fun to explore and the sectional in the living room was very comfy. The two bathrooms were a great perk and the washer dryer combo was a great convenience. We arranged for Nancy to pick us up at the airport and she was hilarious and so much fun to be with. She told us where to go and all kinds of tips for our trip. The location is PERFECT. We walked everyday and explored this charming friendly little town. We made friends with people and never have we felt as comfortable on vacation as we did in this condo. Jan is amazing to work with and her condo is perfect for a nice quiet get away. I would not hesitate to recommend Condo Sereno! Bucerias is a wonderful little town with all you could want. I can't wait to go back. A special thanks to Nancy for going the extra mile to make us feel welcome and at home.

A Perfect Get-Away

Our stay at Condo Sereno was a perfect ladies get-away. The condo was clean and fully stocked with anything you might need, including a blender for the requisite margaritas. The property was immaculate, the pool crystal-clear, and the shaded patio was perfect for a leisurely breakfast, watching the beach-walkers, dolphins, and birds. Ramon and his wife take very good care of the property and were also wonderful in answering any of our questions. Jen, Sally, and Nancy were so helpful with all the details of the trip: getting there, good places to visit, the logistics of the condo, etc. Bucerias is a smaller town, easy to navigate and full of small restaurant gems (you must get the fish tacos in the plaza). The condo is RIGHT on the beach and it couldn't have been more relaxing. Highly recommend!

Cozy Beachfront Condo

We spent Spring Break at Condo Sereno this March, and loved the location, and the cozy condo. The condo is nicely equipped with everything that you need for the perfect holiday! The pool is so inviting, and the ocean just a few steps away. The ocean was just like bath water, once you got in you didn't want to get out! There are lots of unique restaurants within walking distance, and a great flea market for all those souvenirs. Jen made this a very easy process, and made sure everything was arranged for us. She has some really nice people that look after the condo and are just a phone call away. Jen has put together a binder in the suite and it provides you with all those "inside details" that are so helpful to know. We will definitely be wanting to return there some time! Thanks Jen!! Great location, great view, great all around!

We stayed for six days at Condo Sereno in March 2016. The condo is very comfortable with all the amenities. The view overlooking the pool and ocean is lovely and the location is ideal, a short five minute walk to the Plaza and many great restaurants near by. All in all, a wonderful place to stay whether for one week or three months. Check availability since it is in high demand.

A quiet relaxing get away!

Four adults stayed at condo sereno for 2 weeks. It was a very comfortable space for two couples and had great ocean views. The elevated grounds and gated access to the beach was great. Sitting under the shelter, overlooking the beach provided for stunning evening views of the lights and ocean. The pool was a very nice touch on the hot afternoons and was kept very clean. Beach was great and the location of the condo allowed easy walking to Bucerias and access to buses to travel to other locations. Bucerias is a very short walk away and provides a variety of restaurants and shops to visit. The management team that Jen uses to look after guest were excellent. They were always very responsive to any issues or requests. I would recommend the pickup and drop off service they offer from the airport as it is hassle free. The caretaker was very friendly and was more than willing to engage in dialogue even if language was a bit of a barrier. There were very view if any vendors on the beach and the ones that we ran across were friendly and not pushy at all. It was great to be able to buy pastries made fresh that morning from a vendor walking the beach. This unit was great value for the cost. We would stay there again. In November we had the facility basically to ourselves. The brochure on Condo Sereno accurately reflects the facility and amenities although it is a little older than the pictures may portray.

Wonderful condo with everything you need

My mom and a friend of ours took a girls trip to Bucerias for her 60th birthday. We had never tried VRBO and usually stayed in all inclusive resorts. What a wonderful experience we had. Jen, the owner, was extremely responsive and helpful from the time we booked the trip. The condo was nice, not a four seasons if that's what you're looking for, which we weren't. The private beach and pool were added perks. If you're not a high maintenance person and are looking for an authentic experience in Mexico, I highly recommend trying Condo Sereno. We will definitely go back.

2nd Time

We just returned from our 2nd vacation in Bucerias at Condo Sereno. The second time was better than the first one. Nice improvements have been made to the property and the condo. The new sofa and the additional beach equipment were enjoyed the most by our family. The condo manager was there immediately when we needed help with a few minor things or just had questions. Edward and Jen are great people to rent from as their goal is for you to enjoy the condo as much as they do. The location is great as you can walk to all shops and restaurants. The condo has everything you need to cook meals there as we did often. Having a washer and dryer in the condo is another plus. There is a high rise five star condo next door but dollar for dollar Condo Sereno is practical and meets all of our needs.

Leaving tomorrow, March 18, 2012 after two beautiful months at Condo Sereno. The pros - location is great, view is to die for, washer and dryer was very handy as was the wiifi. Enjoyed having the maid service once per week - don't often get that with private rentals. It's a small building so we always felt safe - made many new friends. Lots of supplies from toilet paper to dishes, etc. The cons - no real balcony although the window opens wide, the love seats were uncomfortable for watching TV. All in all a great place to stay.

Christmas 2011

The location of the condo was awesome. You can walk to everything. The condo was very clean and well equipped as promised. The bedrooms were nice sized and the beds were comfortable. The ktichen was very efficient and had all the cooking utensils needed. The condo owner provided a very useful guide to the area and for the condo. We used the beach chairs and umbrella from the condo every day. We had a great time and are hoping to go back for another Christmas in the near future. If you are looking for a 5 star condo that will wine and dine you, this one is not for you! If you are looking for an affordable place that is clean, efficient, well located, and the owner is concerned about you, you can not go wrong with Condo Sereno!
