Welcome to The Big Coconut Lodge! Our beautiful, spacious, lodge-style home embodies the spirit of Lincoln’s heritage, custom architecture, and sophisticated accommodations to create a one-of-a-kind, resort-style vacation experience. During your stay you can expect a cleaned & sanitized home, fresh linens, and high speed Wi-Fi for great entertainment! Upon arrival, you will enjoy a complimentary ($125 value) gift basket uniquely curated for you! - The Big Coconut Lodge - is Located just 6.6 miles/15 minutes from the legendary Memorial Stadium. Just hop onto “O” street and it’s a straight shot downtown. We live in the city, but once you step out back you are transported to a secluded outdoor resort style retreat!!! We have a large three-stall driveway with attached circle drive with onsite parking for 8-12 cars. There is also plenty of street parking right out front for an addition 4 cars. For street parking, cars must be parked on our side of street in front of our house and up towards the circle, Do Not park in front of any neighbors house. If neighbors are disturbed and text/call us with problems, this Will result in a $250 fee per incident. Thank you!

Family reunion

Family gathered from Europe and KC. We enjoyed the pool, kitchen and dining rooms as well as the game room.

Excellent time!

Family gathering for 10…really enjoyed the place and all of the amenities. Plenty of space for everyone. The pool was excellent. Sleeping arrangements worked well. Thank you for allowing us to use your beautiful home.

A golden stay

We do not have enough great things to say about our stay. We went to Lincoln to celebrate my parent’s Golden Anniversary and we found the perfect place to spend time as an extended family. The 15 of had plenty of place to sleep, eat, play games, and relax. From the billiard table, ping pong, and video games in the basement to the quiet swimming and lounging area in the back, this place had it all. The communication before and during the stay was fantastic. 10/10

This was an excellent property! It is clean and well-maintained. So many positives: number of beds and bathrooms, game room, wood provided, pool/floats and hot tub, everything is clearly labeled, S’mores bar was nice, plenty of towels, well-stocked kitchen. Carol was amazing! Great communication and went above and beyond. If we had to suggest improvements, which is very hard, it would be better pillows, a blow dryer in each bath and maybe two-ply t.p. The ice- maker is slower and we used a lot of ice so being a bag of ice. These are minor compared to the great things listed above. We definitely want to come back! Thank you, Carol!

The worst location I have ever stayed in.The apartment is tiny, like really tiny. After putting our bags down, there was barely enough room to stand. There is also no seating other than the bed. Walking into the room gives an immediate damp smell, and mold can be seen around the air vent. The location is terrible. The apartment sits meters away from a very busy street and there is no soundproofing. You hear every single car as if you were right next to it at all hours of the night. Being next to a police station also means constant sirens and yelling at all hours.The bed is the worse part. We arrived to dirty sheets with stains and the previous guests hairs all over. Taking off the sheets showed the worst mattress I have ever seen, with all manor of bodily fluid stains. These stains are all over the pillows. The bed frame is not screwed together, the metal has just been placed, so it was constantly falling apart and moving the mattress. I left this apartment with 6 insect bites, more than I have ever gotten in such a short duration.The shower head is broken and shoots water out at every angle, good luck having a relaxing shower.Overall, do not stay at this apartment, it will ruin your holiday. I am shocked that they were comfortable even advertising this location and allowing people to stay. I feel completely ripped off that I had to pay any amount of money for this and will be seeking some sort of refund.
