Excellent unit, excellent view and outstanding service from the host. We had a great stay! The view from the lanai is spectacular, the unit was very clean and well stocked. The host has great communication and provides outstanding service. Highly recommended.

Check-in was seamless. The property was clean, organized and well thought out. Cooking oil & seasoning were provided for cooking and detergent was provided as well to use for laundry. I would stay at this property again when I visit Maui.

Pictures show arriving to a bottle of wine on the Lanai That would’ve been a nice touch. Also, there was coffee when we arrived, however no coffee filters.

Our homes are professionally staged — a common practice in the hospitality industry — to help showcase the experience and ambiance of a Maui vacation. While the wine is intended to reflect that welcoming atmosphere rather than an included amenity, we do provide coffee, water, and a seasonal local welcome treat for our guests to enjoy. We also appreciate your note regarding the coffee setup. Our coffee makers use reusable mesh filters rather than paper filters, though we recognize this may not have been obvious upon arrival. This was our second stay at this resort and when we go back to Maui we will likely stay again. The beach access, pool, stores and parking garage are all very convenient. It’s quiet, feels clean, and the views are unbeatable. This unit is particularly convenient being next to an elevator (that you cannot hear from the room). The extra space with the den is amazing. Washer and dryer worked well.

Great stay at Honua Kai

This property never disappoints and Maui Rentals were excellent hosts. Everything was easy, flexible and accommodating. Would happily recommend this unit.

The vacation rental exceeded our expectations. Upon arrival there were cookies, water, jellies, and Maui coffee. The condo was great and had great views. Make sure to book your reservations to Dukes if you plan on having dinner there. Pools were great and the beach was right there. We would definitely stay again.

Aside from the elevator noise, the unit gave us everything we needed. We were even able to see the dolphins from the balcony

Family Vacation

Check in was easy. Property was clean. Perfect for family with young kids. Good floor plan layout.Great balcony view!! Super easy to get to the beach!! Location of room was near elevator so there was a lot of noise with the elevator, but after a couple of days you get used to it.

Great stay

We enjoyed our stay in unit 742. The amenities provided, location, and public areas were all very nice. The unit looks at the ocean and mountain which is very beautiful. The management was very responsive to our needs. We really enjoyed our stay. Room for improvement: I thought the shower glass wasn't cleaned and the sink in the kitchen was not clean when we checked in.The public washrooms near the pool are also not very clean.

Perfect family stay on Maui

It was perfect for our family of 4 (included two kids:5 & 8). The bathroom is large with double sinks, large walk in shower and separate tub. Kitchen had plenty of dish/cookware and large fridge. The resort had propane grills near the pools and grilling utensils in the room.There is a small general store on site, but for better pricing there is a full grocery store across the road.The management company for the property was awesome. Extremely responsive ahead of time to answer questions and even reached out to us while we were there to see if we needed anything. They also have a free shuttle service that runs in the afternoon/evenings that can take you anywhere local (shopping/groceries/nearby excursions - just schedule ahead).The resort was great for the kids with plenty of pools, a water slide, and the beach is literally a few steps away. Their are hot tubs as well and Dukes restaurant on site.It was hard to beat the porch views - mountains to the east and the beach to the west with the island of Molokai visible. We spent most of our time that we were in the room on this large porch.The unit itself was super clean with comfortable beds (two larger, actual beds which was nice). We noticed in reviews elevator noise, but we felt it was minimal (like an AC unit coming on) and we slept fine. It was not a primary elevator but having it there gave easy access to the parking garage and doors to the pool area from the room. Would 100% stay here again!
