Relax and enjoy the beautiful peaceful bay views from this lovely house called the BayAngel. Hear the waves and seagulls. Enjoy crabbing, fishing, and boating from the dock. Use the free boat slip at the private dock for your own boat. The large deck has fabulous views and a large picnic table, chairs and a couple of chaise lounges for relaxing and viewing the jet skiers and boaters as they cruise the bay. Have Happy Hour in the Sun Room and watch the magnificent sunsets. Bay views from almost every room. This fabulous house is located in the community of Montego Bay with 2 pools, tennis courts, putt putt golf course, shuffleboard. Northside park is next door with ball fields, a track, play equipment, walking paths, and more. The master suite has a queen sized bed, private bath, TV/cable, VCR, DVD + phone. The middle bedroom has a Queen sized bed + TV/cable. The 3rd bedroom has a pyramid bed that has a double bed with a single bunk on top and a trundle single pull out on the bottom with a TV/cable. Cable in all rooms. Second full bath is located in the hallway. The living room has a queen sized pull out sofa bed with foam mattress, TV,’s in every room, Comcast cable, VCR, DVD, and CD player, Internet. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking utensils, dishes, coffee maker, cofee grinder, blender, microwave, blender, fryer, and granite counter tops. Exterior charcoal grill.

Great stay with amazing views

Visited the property for the 4th of July with some friends and family and we all really enjoyed this property. It's right on the water and has the most amazing sunset every night. The community is also really nice and has 2 accessible pools which offer a great escape from the beach. The beach is easily accessible, with public access right across from the highway. The area is also within reach of many restaurants and only a short drive from the beaches in Delaware. Could not recommend the property more. All you want from Ocean City, but without all the crowds and commotion of the more Southern parts of the city. Will hopefully be returning here next Summer.

The location of the BayAngel is really wonderful, and the great decks and dock definitely add a lot of enjoyment. Boaters, fishermen, and crabbers especially love the direct water access. Only one mile from the ocean, it has everything!

Bay front property excellent

We had a wonderful stay at this property, the host was very nice and helpful. We enjoyed our time at this place and the views were extraordinary. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay and needs access to the bay who own a boat or jet skees. We didn’t but had a blast fishing and crabbing all weekend long. Awesome 👍

Nice family getaway

Very clean with spectacular view and sunsets. Fully equiped kitchen made "cooking in" easy. Very quiet location. Easy to get to all attractions, especially our favorite Tequila Mockingbird! Very relaxing and enjoyable weekend. Thank you for opening your home. We will stay again!

Yes April is another great month to come to the beach and enjoy the sunsets on the bay in the sun room, deck or dock, and cocktails at the local hot spot Tequila Mockingbird 1 mile away. The weather is great and a relaxing mini week away seems like just the right prescription to get rid of the winter blues. It is my pleasure to lend you this great spot for a time. I always look forward to hearing from my previous guests!

OC on the bay

Our family had an awesome vacation staying in this home on the bay. The home was clean and supplied with all necessities. We used our boat at the dock for tubing and fishing and enjoyed a week of gorgeous sunsets. So close to the beach and Montego bays pool was great! The owner was readily available with input and available to answer questions . Thank you

Excellent Vacation Rental

This BayAngel property is hands down the best vacation rental I had! Perfect crabbing right off the private deck. We caught a whole cooler full. The owner Laura is so friendly and helpfull. This house in Ocean City is in a great location on the bay, with fantastic views, from almost every room, the decks and dock. It is also close to Fenwick Island in addition to everything in Ocean City. It is a comfortable inviting home for any season. It is a great pleasure to me when guests really enjoy themselves. I look forward to working with my many repeat guests each year, and all the new guests that I hope will come back also year after year.

Fall in love with the bay

The location of this property could not be more perfect. Walk out your door and you're on the water. Taking our SUPs out on less windy days was amazing, no prep work, no drive, just walk out the door and drop the SUP in and go! My mother fell in love with just sitting and watching the bay and wants to move in, lol, though we have always been oceanfront vacationers in the past. We'll be back!

The owner was very nice. We took the property for the view. It was suppose to be all cable but we worked through that. It was all good except the property definitely needs updating. Many things are just worn. After a few days you get use to it but for the money it should be more updated.

Thank you Randall for the review. I appreciate your input. Yes updating is a continuous process in a beach house, especially in one that is directly on the water like this house is. I just updated two TV’s to smart TV’s, right before your rental, and also added high speed internet for everyone’s convenience, in addition to the cable in every room. I also updated the breakfast bar seat covers just prior to your rental. I would love any specific private feedback that you can offer to me in reference to your comments. In the past 4 years it seems that all prices have increased specifically in OC, i.e. realestate taxes, rental licenses, insurance, repairs, and all supplies. However, I have not increased my rates over the past 4 years. In fact some rates have been significantly decreased at times to fill open seasonal time slots. When I compared my nightly rate to a waterfront hotel room recently, my rate was lower than a single hotel room.

Nice location, but

Our check in was 3:00, the owner was there and told us to come back later she wasn't done cleaning. (we had groceries and plans for the day). The house needs upkeep, toiler was loose, deck was in need of maintenance, outlets were loose, trash can was already full, etc. Otherwise, it was ok.

Thank you for your rental, I appreciate it. The earliest regular check in time in season is at three o’clock. The guests did arrive early for check in, and I requested 15 min to finish cleaning, which is allowed by the contract he signed. There are two trash cans on the property for use, and pick up in season is twice weekly. The large bay front deck is fully maintained with no issues. All of the electric outlets are standard, not loose, and functioning perfectly. If you enjoy 180 degree views of a wide section of the Assawoman Bay from most rooms in the house, including a private dock and boat slip, bay front decks, nightly stunning sunsets, 2 pools, miniature golf, tennis and pickle ball courts, 8 acre pond and fountains, a surrounding half mile walking path, one mile to the ocean and many other amenities please place your dates in an inquiry to get your vacation booked now. The house was dusty and had spider webs inside. The smell inside the house was very strong. Dog’s hair was found in most of the floors even outside on the grass. One of the stairs’s handle was broken. The owner keep asking if everything was okay in the property but it was just dirty.

I texted at least once a day to see if this guest had any questions or concerns and to inquire how the rental was progressing. This guest consistently said everything was fine. There was no dust or cobwebs visible before or after her rental. The entire house was thoroughly cleaned immediately prior to her rental. The floors were swept, then scrubbed, and then vacuumed. The furnishings were cleaned and dusted, The mirrors, glass tops and glass cabinets weee cleaned and shined. The bathrooms were cleaned and sanitized. The kitchen and all appliances were scrubbed down, sanitized and all dishes and utensils neatly put away. The outside furnishings were in their proper places and the lawn was cut and trimmed. It is quite interesting to me that after numerous contact messages to the guest by the owner, she made no complaints or to the owner and the guest acknowledged that fact above, in her review, yet she posted this review. I cannot fix what I don’t know about and what is not communicated to me. The great news is that it is extremely rare that guests are this unfair and unkind, and most guests are absolutely a pleasure to work with. Many guests return year after year and several times during the year. The location of this house is fabulous and the beautiful views are spectacular. If you want to come and have a great time, you definitely will. There are tons of close attractions, Northside Park, neighborhood amenities like pools, tennis courts, pickle-ball courts, miniature golf and neighborhood boardwalk, private dock at the house for lounging, fishing and crabbing, an 8 acre pond with fountains and a half mile walking path, all free with the rental and the beach is only 1 mile away.

Not the best experience

I normally rent houses a couple of times a year for holidays and I have never given negative feedback on any rental until now. We were very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. The house is dated, dirty and needed a proper clean. We were unhappy with the un-hygienic conditions as we had baby along with us in the house. The whole house needs improving, specially the furniture as it’s worn and dirty – one of the sofas was fixed with a tape! On top of that, I had to chase for my deposit money (definitely not a good business ethics) and the owner paid back after it was overdue (breach of contract).

This guest waited over 10 months to submit a review. She was actually PAID TWICE for the full deposit refund within the 30 days allowed by the contract, that she signed and agreed to. Only after she was ordered to refund back to me, the DOUBLE deposit refund that she received, did she decide that she would post this review. I have been on the VRBO/Home Away web sites for quite some time now. All of my contact information with my phone number is posted on both sites. I also send an information sheet, along with the keys to each guest, and respond to any calls or messages promptly. The information sheet, that is sent to each guest, contains contact information for myself, my cleaners, and for pest control, and also lists information about the house, and directions, for each guest's assistance and convienence. This guest did not contact me, or my cleaners for any issues with the house, during or after her stay. The house is cleaned after each guest's stay, and deep cleaned before each season, but for those new mother's that require a sterile atmosphere, a hospital would be the best choice. I have been in business and rented this house to guests, for over 10 years. I am there for every guest and take pride in my house, and treat my guests with the highest respect. I am proud to offer outstanding, beautiful views from almost every room in the house, gorgeous peaceful sunsets, a nice house with numerous ammenities, and the best service in Ocean City.

Adequate for our family needs

Let me first start out saying that Laura was very kind working with me so I could stay at her beach cottage at an affordable rate. It was very adequate for our family of 6. Overall it was quite clean and comfortable. There were a few disappointments. The house itself is worn and shabby. Just a fresh coat of paint would do wonders. The washer and dryer work but not great. Washer is off balance and I had to hold it down during the spin cycle. Dryer probably needs to be serviced, it takes 2 hours to dry a load of clothes. Dishwasher did not work at all. Toaster very dated and did not work. Kitchen was fine and had all cooking supplies needed. Sliding doors on back patio are very difficult to slide but we loved that porch! It was great having 2 full bathrooms too. Pool closed at 4 pm due to it being off season which we were not aware of. We did enjoy our stay though.

I can't fix what I have no idea is wrong. The dishwasher works fine, in order for it to work the door must be closed. When a washer is off balance the load inside the washer needs to be adjusted, also one leg may need a 1/4 turn to balance the machine better. The sliders were greased about a month ago but the salt water and storms do take a toll on them, it sounds like they need another squirt of WD40. The guests that came in after this guest did say the toaster worked, but it may be time for an update. There may always be some minor inconveniences, sorry. The one thing that doesn't change though is the fabulous views of the bay, beautiful sunsets, central location, great dock and decks, and peaceful atmosphere.

Not as we expected

The photos of the rental property were stunning. However, upon arrival, we were immediately met with a strong musty and stale odor as we entered the house. In an attempt to ensure that everything was in order, we inspected the house and found rust on the floor vents and in the freezer. The refrigerator had a foul smell when we opened it, and the furniture was older and dusty, with the same stale, musty smell. The overall cleanliness of the property was lacking, and very outdated. We had to open windows just to air out the home. This is the worst home I have stayed in, and I have been vacationing for years. I reached out to Laura to express my concerns, only to be met with an accusatory response suggesting that I was searching for faults to defraud her of payment. This accusation was baseless and hurtful, as our intention was simply to have a pleasant vacation, as we drove 10 hours to get there. Despite my dissatisfaction with the property not matching the advertised pictures, Laura refused to provide any type of refund. My family was just very uncomfortable and did not want to stay there so we left. We just don't feel that with the amount of money we paid for this property we should have to stay in those conditions.

When I had an opportunity to purchase this home in 2004 I was thrilled. As soon as my car hits the 90th Street Bridge I can feel the tension releasing in anticipation of a great vacation.

Ocean City is a great location just 2 1/2 hours from the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. It has everything you want. There are numerous theme parks, great restaurants and entertainment, golf, jet skiing,water skiing, parasailing, antiquing, and so much more. The ocean is fabulous and fun, and the bay is great for boating fishing crabbing and relaxing. There are many interesting places to visit nearby including seeing the wild ponies. Great shopping at the outlets.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

I love to sit in the living room or sun room and just relax listening to the hypnotic swooshing of the waves and hearing the birds call. At the end of the day I enjoy cocktail hour with hors d'oeuvres in the sun room experiencing a fabulous sunset over the bay. It's breathtaking.
