Beautiful views

We visit Clear Lake at least 3 times a year and usually stay at a campground or my brother's home. This year we changed it up and decided to try a vacation rental and we were not disappointed. They views were worth it alone!

Birthday Getaway

Amazing experience!!! Property was great and was just as advertised. Hosts, Soma & Geetha, were excellent hosts and very attentive to any needs. Would definitely come here again and will recommend to others!

Great weekend getaway

Our stay was exactly what we hoped for! The views of the lake were amazing. We really loved all of the different types of games and activities that they provided in the house for all ages, including our 5 and 9 year-old as well as our parents. They were great amenities and appliances in the kitchen. For people who need it, there is a separate $40 service fee for using the EV charger per car.

We stayed for 2 nights. The house was a good size house for a family of 6 (4 adult kids). The house was clean. The view was amazing from the deck. The kitchen had the essential supplies. Several of things to note. The description indicates that there is an EV charger and the next sentence in the description says that all amenities are included in the price. However, I found out EV charging is not included. The owner apologize for the misunderstanding and said they would change the description. So this may be a moot point if the description is changed. The other thing to note is that there are only 9 bath towels, which forced us to do a load of towels during our 2 day stay. So, bring your own towels if your family goes through towels like my family does. Finally, for some odd reason, the upstairs bedroom smelled like kitten litter. We bought a room spray to help with the smell. So there was an underlying smell in that room & as I mentioned, it smelled like kitten litter, but pets aren’t allowed at the place. But overall, my family said they would love to come back and stay at this place.

I sincerely apologize for the confusion regarding the EV charger. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention, and we’ve already updated the listing to make the policy clear so there’s no misunderstanding for future guests. Thank you as well for noting the towel count. We typically provide a standard set based on the home’s occupancy, but your feedback is very helpful. We’ll review our towel inventory and adjust to better accommodate larger groups. Usually we provide additional towels up on request if needed. Regarding the upstairs bedroom smell, I’m truly sorry you experienced that. There are no pets allowed in the home, but we have already investigated and taken steps to identify and eliminate the source to ensure this doesn’t happen again. We’re grateful that despite these issues, your family still had a positive stay and would love to return. You were wonderful guests, and we’d be happy to welcome you back anytime.

Great view and comfortable home

We stayed two nights here with two other families. For the most part everything was good. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook and grill. The views are amazing! However, we did have difficulty getting in touch with the owners about the WiFi (which was really important especially the first day since my husband had a work meeting). We didn’t get WiFi until day 2. Also, the third “room” isn’t really a room but a sunroom type space with a very hard and uncomfortable futon sofa. No blankets, pillows, or sheets were provided for that “room” so we had to borrow throw blankets and pillows from one of the other bedrooms. Because of this, I would recommend this home for a family or group needing two rooms, not three.

This location is fantastic with amazing lake views. The property is clean, and the owners are kind and easy to communicate with. The decks with clean deck furniture are excellent. The “extra” sleeping areas, outside official beds, are a bit stiff, and there are ants. But insects are likely common in that mountainous area.
