This lovely and spacious villa comfortably sleeps up to 8 (+ up to 2 infants in cots) people in 4 air conditioned bedrooms comprising of :- Master bedroom with emperor sized handmade teak four poster bed, private balcony, en suite bathroom. Queen sized bedroom with private balcony and en suite bathroom. Further Queen sized bedroom and one bedroom with two single beds. House bathroom. The villa also features a fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher, microwave,coffee maker and other small appliances. The living room has three comfortable sofas, cable tv and radio. There is also a selection of playing cards, board games and books.

The spacious dining area has a large table that comfortably accommodates eight people. There are ceiling fans in both the living and dining room areas. There is also a small downstairs powder room. Double patio doors lead out onto a spacious shady patio area. The kidney shaped swimming pool is accessed through a latched gate to ensure peace of mind to those guests staying with young children. The villa is also equipped with a washer and tumble dryer. Bathroom towels are also provided.

The villa is conveniently situated just five minutes away from a well stocked supermarket and is only five minutes drive to Mount Irvine the nearest beach and golf club. The villa is protected by an internal alarm system and eclectic gates.

Amazing!

Amazing!!! Our entire stay at Ginger Lillies was perfect from beginning to end. Great place, great location and great hosts. Shout out to Gloria and Anea for making our trip wonderful. Look forward to returning to Tobago and staying again.

Wish could stay again soon

My family spent our Christmas holidays here and enjoyed it totally. The only downside is we did not plan on renting a vehicle which would have made getting around much easier.T Will be back hopefully in another year

A lovely house and convenient location for all your Tobago adventures

We rented this property for a 3-day Tobago getaway. The children in the party loved the pool, where the adults could relax and watch over them from the veranda. The kitchen and bedrooms were spacious. The added bonus is working with Anea, the property owner, who went above and beyond in helping us through a technical issue with VRBO. The property managers were delightful too. Definitely the best hospitality I’ve experienced in a vacation rental.

Amazing

The villa was clean and welcoming. Looks and described exactly as in picture. Gloria was very professional and made us felt really comfortable. Pool was clean. Bedrooms were spacious. Views from the balcony was breathing. Area was quite. Overall we had a great time.

Best tobago trip ever

I stayed at ginger lillies with my family to celebrate by birthday. The place was exactly like the photos, tropical and cute. All the utensils were very cute and matched the theme of the place. I loved the decor and ask the flowers around. Gloria was very helpful and accommodated us well. The beds were comfy. I will surely stay here again. It had eveything we needed such as kitchen utensils, a cooler to go to the beach, etc.The house was very spacious everywhere. It was a dream vacation!

Great family vacation villa!

Ginger Lilies was the perfect villa for my family's stay in Tobago. My family of four shared the house with my sister's family of four while visiting for a family reunion, and there was plenty of room for us all. The villa had two masters with en suites and balconies and two guest rooms (with icy cold air conditioning) with two twin beds a piece -- we couldn't have asked for a better set up for our families. The open living room, porch and gated pool provided the perfect space for our little ones to play and safely navigate the pool. We look forward to visiting again when our kids are older.

A great time was had by all of us

The villa is in a good location and all the shared spaces are large and airy so we never felt on top of each other. The pool and terrace is also of a generous size. We found the local manager to be very helpful and flexible and a delight to meet. She checked to make sure we were ok from time to time during our stay and when we had an issue she responded quickly. Dealing with the owner was also very easy and everything went smoothly from start to finish. We would definitely come back.

Most beautiful property

We are just at the airport after 2 weeks at Ginger lilies villa. This place is just as stunning as it looks in the pictures. From the bedroom balcony you can see the sea from all directions. I would advise car hire although the taxis are fairly cheap and very reliable. A shop,bar and Chinese takeaway are all within. Walking distance. The housekeeper Gloria was very helpful and looked after us. You will not regret coming here . Marcia x

Lovely home, lovely people

Ginger Lilies is a roomy, comfortable home with every amenity you would need for a relaxing and pleasant vacation. You can pack lightly (with just a carry-on) because a washer and dryer are available on-site for your use. The caretakers, Gloria and James, were so helpful. We sent a grocery list to Gloria and everything was waiting for us when we arrived. Our party (4 people) chose not to rent a car, but it wasn't an impediment because James was usually available to pick us up and take us anywhere for a reasonable fee. There isn't a beach within easy walking distance, but at least 4 or 5 are just a short drive away. There is a grocery store a 5 minute walk away at the bottom of the hill, and a restaurant 2 minutes past there. The neighborhood is safe, but bring insect repellent - you might be accosted by mosquitoes. The Tobago people were so friendly and welcoming - probably nicer than anywhere else I can remember. It was an excellent trip for us and a superlative value.

What a wonderful house!

Everything about Ginger Lillies is so good. It's clean, comfortable, well equipped. You can tell the owners spend time here, as it is arranged for maximum comfort. The bedrooms are well furnished, There is lots of kitchen equipment, a large dining room table inside (and arm chairs and TV), and plenty of comfortable chairs and two tables on the veranda. There was always a breeze on the veranda, so it was pleasantly cool even on the hottest days (and if you want sun, there are loungers by the pool). The outside areas are well screened by plants, and there aren't many houses nearby, so it feels very private. It's very quiet. Anea is a very considerate and helpful owner (we've rented houses in many countries for many years, and have never before had the owner email us asking if everying was all right, as she did). Everything was more than all right and we were very well taken care of by Gloria and Mr James, who take care of the property. They had bought in some food for us, including milk and fruit, and dropped by several times to make sure we were OK. They were very helpful with suggestions for local restaurants. Would we recommend it to friends? Yes! Would we be happy to stay there again? Yes!

Great family stay

We absolutely loved our three night stay at Ginger Lilies! Anea and Gloria were very nice and responsive, and did everything to make our trip as enjoyable as possible. We were also treated with welcome goodies for the kids (1.5 and 3.5 years old). The villa was very beautiful and spacious, and the pool was a hit with our young ones. In fact one of the main reasons we chose this rental was the presence of a latched gate on the large back porch to prevent the kids from running to the pool unsupervised. As others have mentioned, the villa is very close to a supermarket and food outlets. It is also not too far from the airport and the Pigeon Point /Store Bay beaches where we spent most of our days when not at the house. When we didn't feel like exploring, we simply stayed put and enjoyed the quiet, breezy, lush retreat that Ginger Lilies provided. We would definitely stay here again!

The perfect vacation home

This house is fully equipped with everything you will need for a relaxing vacation. It’s beautifully decorated, inside and outside. It’s within close proximity to restaurants and grocery stores and most importantly beaches making it the ideal place to stay. I felt safe and secure at all times and will definitely be staying here during my next trip to Tobago!

Just as good as last time - in other words, great!

This is our second time to stay at GInger Lilies Villa, and the fact that we chose to return when there are lots of places we could have stayed says it all. It's such a relaxing place - clean, well furnished, very quiet. It's just a short ride from the airport. There are grocery shops nearby, and the kitchen is well equipped. Buccoo and its quiet beach is only a few minutes drive away. If you just want to relax you can just lounge by the pool or on the shaded cool veranda. We were, as before, well taken care of by Gloria and Mr. James. In particular Mr. James went out of his way to make sure we got our money changed when the TT government issued new hundred dollar notes and then made it very difficult to chnage old notes for new - without his help we stood to lose quite a lot of money. Would we stay there again? Of course.

wunderschöner Aufenthalt

Die Villa entspricht in allen Bereichen denen der Beschreibung bzw. der Fotos. Wir waren 4 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder und es hat allen sehr gut gefallen. Der Pool hat eine angenehme Größe und eignete sich vor allem für die Kinder für die schnelle Erfrischung zwischendurch. Der Kontakt zur Besitzerin war unkompliziert und auch der Kontakt zum Hausmeisterpärchen über Whats-App möglich, so dass einem hohe Telefonkosten (Auslandsgespräche) erspart blieben. Die Haushälterin hat für uns einen kleinen Einkauf vorab erledigt, so dass auch der Kühlschrank mit dem Notwendigsten für das erste Frühstück gefüllt war. Grundsätzlich empfiehlt es sich jedoch aufgrund der Lage etwas außerhalb einen Mietwagen zu nehmen. Der Linksverkehr ist zwar gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber die Taxikosten zum Strand / Pigeon Point / Flughafen sind Verhandlungssache und lagen bei uns (Großraumtaxi/Tageszeit) zwischen 120 - 160TT$ (7TT$=1€). Ein Supermarkt und auch ein Restaurant sind jedoch in Laufweite.

You can't go wrong with Ginger Lilies

My entire experience leading up to and including my stay and Ginger Lilies was great. Anea was very good about responding to my messages. She is very professional, courteous and understanding. I include understanding because my family and I had an issue with our flight being delayed by a few hours and at the last minute she was willing to extend our accommodation. Gloria and Mr. James, the property managers helped in making that happen as well because they had to be there for check out, so I was very grateful to them for working with us as well. They are very nice people, very friendly and great to work with. The house itself was very clean, beautiful and had everything we needed. Having that nice sized pool was definitely a plus. Accessibility wise, it's very close to the airport, beautiful beaches and grocery stores. I couldn't ask for a better location. I will definitely be staying here again. Anea and her team are great people!

Great vacation!

This was our second time staying at Gingerlilies villa and it and was just as great as the first time. Lovely house, very spacious, in door and out door areas. Very quiet and private. Lots of trees and plants well manicured surroundings. The place was clean, bedrooms well appointed. Nice pool, convenient for liming with porch seating near by. The house keepers James and Gloria were also very pleasant and helpful as usual. I would definitely be back again with my family.

A perfect base

'Ginger Lillies' is a wonderfully spacious and comfortable house; it made a perfect base from which to attend a family wedding and also to explore this beautiful island. Absolutely remarkable Vacation Home for a Family

This review is pretty easy to pen as our stay at Ginger Lilies Villa from March 1st to 4th was simply awesome! The pictures on HomeAway's website do not provide an accurate reflection of this villa, as it is ten times more beautiful in reality. The villa was impeccable and everything that one could desire for cooking was easily found in the kitchen. It is one of the first villas that my family and I have stayed at that is so super children friendly. Pretty plastic cups, plates and bowls for younger children were provided in the kitchen. The beds were all comfortable and the rooms decorated in vibrant colours. Our son and daughter truly enjoyed the pool which was large enough for swimming and thoroughly clean. As the villa is located on a hillside there is breeze throughout the day which makes for a truly relaxing stay. Thank you Anea (homeowner) for being such a pleasure to interact with no question was too much trouble for her and her responses were all very prompt and detailed. Although we have never met the warmth in her responses was always evident. Thank you as well to Gloria and James (villa caretakers) for being so warm, welcoming and hospitable. They are a lovely couple who really are putting love and care into maintaining Ginger Lilies Villa. My family and I were quite sad to leave at the end of our stay and actually tried to extend our booking but sadly all flights were booked. I am already planning a return trip to this dream home and this time around our stay will be longer. Thank you again Anea, Gloria and James for allowing us to have such a wonderful stay in this piece of paradise known as Ginger Lillies Villa. Allyson Dwarka and Family.

A True Escape

Wonderful break in Tobago at Ginger Lillies Villa-HomeAway from home!

Our short stay at Ginger Lillies Villa was very relaxing and comfortable- a veritable home away from home. The villa is beautifully appointed in lovely surroundings in a very quiet and safe suburb. We were made very welcome by the caretaker Mr. James and his wife Gloria. I would not hesitate to return to this lovely home for another holiday in Tobago and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a lovely holiday in Tobago. Exceptional!!

Ginger Lilies was our best stay in Tobago yet! The house was remarkable, comforting & quite enjoyable. We created memories there that would last a lifetime. We couldn’t have asked for a better place nor the service we received from both Mr. James & Gloria whilst we were there. I would highly recommend any couple/ family this house. It’s location & setting made us feel as if we were home. My family & I are all about privacy & what we paid for is more than what we got. Anea, thank you for renting us your place. Our mini vacation in Tobago would never have been the same if it wasn’t for you, Mr. James, Gloria & your beautiful villa. Thank you & we hope to visit again sometime soon.
