The stay was very nice. The place was as described and as the pictures showed. Appreciated that the king bed was comfortable. The WiFi was good and fast. The kitchen was well stocked with the necessary items. The property manager was responsive. Location, location, location.

Place was cute! Communication was a bit of a problem at times. Place was kind of dirty and junked up on the deck. Opened a cooler that was provided and to my dismay it was filthy. Views are beautiful! Maybe give some attention to this property. It has potential.

We checked our timestamped correspondence and we had no missed messages for you and any inquiries were responded to right away with our 24/7 support team. Also, these ocean front units can get dust and sand on the outdoor lanai as stated in our disclosures. We store the beach gear outside on the lanai to not get the unit dirty. Your review is certainly the minority of reviews as our Sugar Beach units usually always get 5 stars. Hotels on Maui range from $500-$1500 per night so this is one of the best values on Maui. Mahalo!

Overall, the location was amazing. The pool and beach access were also amazing and well kept. However I realize that maintenance needs to happen at all times however, I think the planning and scheduling of maintenance could have been better. There were exterior painters the entire time we were there. They chose to do the fifth floor when it appeared there were absolutely no people staying on the third floor due to lack of lighting at night. It was also a holiday weekend and therefore our railings and everything in the door entrances was taped up from Thursday through Monday.As far as the unit goes itself - great views! Not very clean - used an entire container of wipes to clean light switches, door handles, thermostat, remotes, counters, and tables. Lastly, my apologies because I chose not to leave my shoes outside and the reason being is the carpet was so stained and disgusting that we opted not to walk on it with ourbare feet. All the other amenities inside the unit were fine.I had to switch out the roll of paper towel immediately because there was some red stuff all over it and we wash dishes as we use them because they clearly were not clean. Thank you to the owners, however it was a perfect location and the views were beautiful.
