Fabulous location, right on the river. Holly provided everything we could need and was always really quick.to reply. We are from the UK and were originally booked to come when COVID hit . Holly refunded all our money, so I'm glad we were able to come at last. The property is very characterful and really well presented. Highly recommended.

Perfect location! The home had a well equipped kitchen although we only used the toaster. Why cook when you are so close to restaurants? I appreciated having plenty of bath towels and beach towels. When we arrived the house was nice and cool. Check in and out was super easy. I would rent again if in the area.

This home was absolutely perfect for our recent stay in Salida for a family wedding. We loved the close proximity to downtown businesses, restaurants and parks. We walked everywhere. The home itself is cozy and comfortable. Our favorite feature was the private area on the river. We spent hours there fishing (Walmart is a quick drive for a short term fishing license) and sitting in the fire pit area. The views were gorgeous. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to Salida. I highly recommend this home!

This is probably the cleanest one yet have ever stayed at! Great location on the river and within walking distance to all the businesses in the downtown area!

Absolutely top notch from booking to checkout! Communication was great, superb location, easy access, clean as a pin, neatly appointed & well furnished...all needs provided...far exceeded expectations! We are so happy we found this spot and look forward to booking again! VRBO as it should be, highly recommend!!

Amazing downtown riverfront location

The house is comfortable and well-appointed with everything you need to cook, sleep, and wash! Beds were comfortable, bath/shower was great. And the most amazing part was having our own private riverfront oasis complete with comfy Adirondack chairs and a fire pit that we enjoyed every evening. Also the house is literally just steps away from downtown! Huge private gravel parking lot in back. Highly recommend!

Comfy and relaxing for two!

Great stay at a charming place. LOVE the bathroom..good size, great fixtures, fantastic water pressure and awesome shower head. You never know what you’ll get with the bathroom at an old house, but this place was terrific. Just a note: the two bedrooms connect and the second bedroom requires anyone in that room to walk around through the living room and kitchen to get to the bathroom, or they can cut through bedroom 1.

Perfect river house!

This is our 3rd time renting this property, and we love it more each time we stay. The house is comfy, cozy and so clean... and the beach area along the river is so neat. We will definitely be returning!

Had absolutely wonderful time in Salida! The property is much better than on the pictures. The house is old but beautifully renovated. It is generously stocked with everything you need and much much more, making the stay super comfortable. Will definitely come again!

Perfect location

My hubby and I met one of my HS besties in Salida to attend the annual Brewers Rendezvous in July 2024. The location of Holly's place was PERFECT! We parked on Friday and didn't touch our cars until leaving Sunday. We spent time down on the river soaking our feet and watching the rafters, tubers, paddlers, and surfers. And loved being able to walk everywhere in "downtown" Salida. The best was a king bed in the main BR...rare in Salida rentals. The three of us made one bathroom work. And we were super happy to have central A/C and a couple of fans during a hot summer weekend. The kitchen has everything you'll need. Plugs are in awkward spots, but it is an older, updated home. Easy enough to make it all -- coffee pot, toaster, etc. -- work. The "hot tub" mentioned in the property details must be referring to the jetted bathtub in the bathroom? There is no true hot tub. We all only took showers so can't comment on the jetted tub. The back patio is lovely; super hot when we were in town; look forward to staying again to enjoy a morning tea outside. There is a huge space for parking that also provides a very short walk to sit right by/on the river. Complete with Adirondack chairs and fire pit. There are also PLENTY of towels supplied for all your river fun. Again it was atpically hot during our stay so we stayed in the shade dipping into the cool water. Bring bug spray. Other features we ended up not using: 3 TVs Grill, I assume gas Couple of bikes Highly recommend.

Clean, comfortable, compact inside. And delightful spacious lovely huge outdoor spaces. Walking distance to everything important downtown and on the river, as promised. Everything worked out beautifully.

great location

Our 3-day stay was delightful. This small house within walking distance to restaurants and shops was the perfect location. Access to the river for my husband, the fisherman, was great as well as just sitting and watching the river and all the activities go by was perfect for me. The house is cozy but the bedrooms are large and the bathroom and kitchen met our needs. For anyone with mobility or balance issues the shower can be quite tricky to access since the tub is very deep and there are no grab bars. We would definitely stay there again if we are in the area.

Private beach

Great little house with private beach. The house is very comfortable and within easy walking distance to downtown. The owner quickly and effectively answered any questions we had. We wouldn’t hesitate to rent this property again.

Perfect and cozy

We stayed at this property over Christmas to relax and enjoy the Holiday. This property was a perfect place to retreat. Great view of the mountain by the river and easy access to park and downtown. Holly was very accommodating. Such a great place to stay!

Fantastic location!

We loved this house right off downtown Salida. Easy walk to shops and restaurants, with beautiful Arkansas River right in the backyard! We will definitely be back and wouldn't hesitate to rent this home again.
