Island House Beach Resort- Siesta Key Florida, Crescent Beach - The lovely villa is located on the widest part of Crescent Beach. It is approx. 1000 sq. ft. and is 2 bedrooms, 2 baths. The villa has a large living area, dining area, fully equipped kitchen, all appliances, central ac/heat, screened lanai, covered parking, 3 tvs, dvd, free wi-fi in unit! It is only steps to the beautiful azure and turqouise waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The beautifully maintained complex has 2 beach cabanas, beach chairs, large heated swimming pool, game room, shufflboard and scenic beach front courtyard where the sunsets are fantastic! There are many shops, restaurants, golfing, fishing, tennis, boating, parasailing, galleries in the area. Busch Gardens/Disney are a short driving distance. Pack your bags and let us make your vacation a most memorable one!

Units AC does not work

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I got there on Saturday, unit's AC and master bedroom fan was not working, call management and went in person twice over the week, The master bedroom fan was never fixed, i was told that they needed to replace and they knew it, the AC got fix on Thursday and broke again on Friday, i left on Friday and will not want to rent this unit until and if the AC gets fix. This unit is outdated.

Touma Unit 37 5/11/24 to 5/23/24

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our overall stay was ok but it could have been much better. Check in was not until after 5:00 pm as front desk said there was a shortage of people on the cleaning staff.When checking in the property manager mistook me for another owner’s relative and proceeded to reprimanded me for past due HOA fees which I knew nothing about and thought it was an invasion of privacy for that owner. When arriving at the unit, it was not very clean. The floors and rug were very sandy. The furniture and the rug in the living room were dirty and needed a deep cleaning or replacement. There were dead wood roaches behind the TV. Four lamps had dead light bulbs. The ceiling fans wobbled. The A/C did not work properly the entire time we were there. It would stop cooling in the afternoon, then restart later in the evening. It was reported to maintenance Three times and technician looked at it but did not fix the problem. The ROKU TV did not broadcast in HD nor did it fill the screen. There was no king size blanket for the master bed.

Great Property

Villa was well stocked and updated.

Great villa!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit very nice. Property managed well...very efficient and clean. The beach here is simply beautiful. We live in Ft Myers and don't go to the beach here.. Always meet our friends at Island House each year for the company and beautiful beach.

Love The Island House!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The only place we will stay in Siesta Key. Always clean and in excellent condition! Service is impeccable!! This stay we were in Siesta for a wedding. The other guests stayed at other resorts. After visiting our place at the Island House, every one of them said they wished they had stayed there!!! Love the gas grills. Beach never packed and very well cared for. Wouldn’t recommend anywhere else in Siesta Key!!!

Reviewer Comments: Have been going to Siesta for over 20 years...Check in no problem battery on thermostat needed to be replaced fan in Master could only be on low . Sent message everything fixed in timely matter also given option to change units none available? And we had already unpacked and bought groceries so just stayed . Guest bathroom was disgusting Grout black and just dirty has not been updated in years .... Kitchen cabinet missing a door . Master bath needs new shower head . When I am paying top dollar Villa should be immaculate. Was approached by rude worker at beach chairs can’t be beyond sign ? Sorry I am not going to beach to sit behind white tents . Was told she would put that on my reservation so harder to rebook . I thanked her and said we would not be coming back !! On a good note beach is still beautiful and so was pool .

Outstanding stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Rented 8 villas for our soccer academy. You have everything you need and no disturbances or distractions. Very comfortable setting...better than staying in a hotel. Accommodations from the start with Scott were great. This is our 2nd year coming down and will continue in the future.

Nice, but a suggestion.

Although the condo was a bit dated, it served our short term need. We felt that there was a grass area just east of the shuffleboard courts that could be utilized for additional recreational activity...such a bocce ball court or even a small pool or spa.
