The breathtaking views from Casa Bella's wraparound decking will soothe and refresh you. Wake up early for the sunrise and enjoy one of the best parts of the day. Cool ocean breezes caress you while you survey the beautiful scenery from the decks. Then, turn your chair around at the end of the day for breathtaking sunset views over the sound.

Retreat to the private pool (12'x 25') after your day at the beach. Soak away the salt and sand in the hot tub. Entertaining family and friends will be a breeze on the beautiful pool deck. Foosball, basketball, and other sports equipment will keep everyone active. Gather the family for volleyball games on the volleyball court. When you are ready for the beach (just 500 yards away), beach chairs and a beach cart are waiting for you.

Casa Bella has 8 Roku-ready TVs for your viewing pleasure, with quick and easy one-remote-does-it-all for each. Plus a DVD player, a variety of videos, and two sitting areas so that everyone can enjoy their favorite programs. Streaming from your own devices is a breeze, with strong WiFi signals throughout. The large open space on the top floor, surrounded on three sides by decks, is ideal for a leisurely evening of family fun and entertaining. Additional extras include 2 Charcoal Grills.

A Wonderful Week in OBX

This house worked out beautifully for our family vacation in the Outer Banks. We had plenty of space and it was easy to communicate with Beach Realty as needed. We really enjoyed having a pool right on the property and having multiple decks were terrific! Would definitely recommend this home.

We really loved the size and location of Casa Bella. It was close to the beach and shops in Duck. Unfortunately, the house was in need of a thorough cleaning. It lacked even the most basic of materials. No mop or broom for the outside areas. Keeping the floors clean was a battle. Many of the remotes to the TVs didn’t work or were missing. The space was great but it needs some TLC.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great house for our group including two dogs! Large yard with private feel on the corner, pool and hot tub were lovely. Lots of great deck space coming off of all of the upper level rooms. The house comes stocked with really nice beach gear, chairs + umbrella, toys, cart etc. - loved being able to walk to lots of the main drag shops.

A large family vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The walk to the beach is LONG and after a day of fun in the sun the return trip is even harder because of the incline back to the house. The house is lovely and well designed for noise purposes. It easily accommodated our family. The mattresses are in serious need of updating and the pool is quite small.

Great week in Duck

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family trip this year brought us to Casa Bella in Duck. The experience with the rental company was great from the start and remained as such for the duration of our stay. The location of the home was good for our needs - we did rent a golf cart to shuttle family from the house to the beach and strongly recommend doing the same if you have anyone unable to walk very long distances. The only complaint we had was overall condition of the home as it could benefit from some TLC on the interior. The outdoor amenities were great, pool was very clean and thoroughly enjoyed by all.

We picked this home because it fit our needs and was dog friendly. It was clean and everything worked fine. Main tv did not work but maybe it was user error? Not here to watch tv anyway. Lots of steps which is good exercise. Wife said where is the elevator. Lol. Location to beach was great. Was a very short walk. Would rent this again next time we plan a trip to Duck..

Casa Bella in August

We liked the house. It was very clean. We did the linen package which helped since we were coming from Jersey. Loved the location of the house, easy to walk to some shops. Our 17 yr olds love that. The beach was with in walking distance. We did rent a golf cart. My elderly parents came with us so that helped in getting them to the beach. The only complaint was the grounds. We couldn’t use the volley ball court. It was covered in weeds and my husband weeded the pool area when we got there. That needed to be weeded as well. I understand that it’s hard to keep up with some of these things but we couldn’t use the volleyball court and that was disappointing. Other than that we had a nice stay.

A nice short, maybe 5-10 minutes depending on who was walking. The house was nice and was spacious enough for my large family. We had 2 two-year-olds and 2 four-year-olds and the house was pretty baby safe. The location was great. Things to do nearby, fun little boardwalk nearby.A few areas were kind of dirty, lots of spider webs in windows, and we didn't feel comfortable opening many of them because one had a really big spider. We did have a power outage but it seemed like the neighbors knew it was coming (we didn't know to expect it). We had troubles with the bathtub on the top floor draining, with 4 young kids needing baths, it was disappointing to see the tub filling up while trying to get cleaned in the shower. Or the tub taking 10 minutes to drain after an actual bath. When I contacted them about it, we were thanked for the feedback and told it would be passed on for assistance and we never heard anything.All in all, it was a nice place and we absolutely WOULD stay there again.

Great House to Spend a Holiday

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented Follow the Sun for Thanksgiving week. We had family gathering from VA, TX and NC to celebrate the Holiday together. While we spend every summer at the Outer Banks, this was our first opportunity to stay over the Thanlsgiving Holiday. We had plans to cook our Thanksgiving Dinner at the house, but frankly, was a little concerned with how well equipped Follow the Sun was to meets our needs. Follow the Sun met and exceeded our expectations in many areas! The house had plenty of room for all of our guests and plenty of space for everyone to gather and share meals. We were very pleased with how well prepared the kitchen was to prepare our Thanksgiving Dinner. Virtually all of the kitchen essentials were fairly new and in great condition, what a relief that was! We liked being so close to Duck (10 min walk) and we made several trips to town for activities each day. Pros: * Overall size of house and accommodations * Proximity to Duck * Well Decorated and well appointed * Nice pool and hot tub (however, we could not partake in the pool due to the season) Cons: * A bit far from the beach for our liking * While the house was clean, the carpet downstairs needs to be cleaned

Being close to Duck Village is always great, being able to just take 5-10 minutes and you are back at the property. There is so much to do and see in Duck Village, hopefully your family had time to enjoy the wonderful Sound Front walkway/trail and experience being right over the sound and see all the wildlife in their habitats. Grandbaby time

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were so happy to have all our grandbabies coming! All 5 of them and big kids and Nana. Having so many people to decide to come was a dream come true. House was big enough for everyone. Beds wre comfortable. Ac was great. Had lots of room upstairs to all kids toys. Kitchen table was nice and big for all the kiddos. Pool looked small but kids love the extra steps and seats in pool.Big kid love it to.Sad new they took Play set down just before we came down, which is why we rent this place. 5 kid under 6. Needs alot of love outside. Nails were stick up, leaves in outside shower and grass around pool. Need a broom in kitchen.

From the spacious living and bedroom areas to the pool and proximity to the beach and shops in Duck, we love coming year after year. And the rental company has been very quick to respond to the few minor issues that are bound to happen in any home towards the end of the summer season!

Adequate,but not Awesome

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We appreciated the ample room for our group of 11 adults + a baby, and enjoyed being able to sit down together for meals at the large table. The linen service was wonderful. We also liked the location--close to shopping in Duck, and fairly close to the beach. However, we were disappointed by the unpleasant damp smell in the basement, the unusable volleyball court, the overgrown trees that blocked the sunsets, the non-functioning wagon to haul beach chairs, the broken/rusted beach equipment, the lack of deck chairs (only two for a house that sleeps 16), and the uncomfortable furniture in the living room.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, we were satisfied with our rental experience. There were some issues that I will address. The volleyball court was basically unuseable-weeds, etc growing in sand had not been cleared out nor was there a rake or tool for us to use to do it. The trees that grow close to the pool area should be cut back-they drop an unpleasant purple berry in the pool and on the area surrounding the pool.I understand that with such a quick turnover from one group to the next that there is little time for carpet cleaning- somehow, it should still be done. The last two times that we have rented in Duck, we found out upon arrival that the house we had rented was for sale. I do believe that the owners do not take as much pride in their rental when they are expecting to sell it (things that should be repaired or replaced are not). I do think that the rental company was responsive to maintenance issues we made them aware of and responded quickly in addressing those concerns. All in all we still had a very good vacation.

The pool, hot tub, and volleyball court added to the fun. We had a great time!

Very pleased to learn that your family's choice of "Follow the Sun" was a "perfect" home for your vacation here on the Outer Banks. This is a great house for a family group with spaces for everyone to gather, but also places to go and just relax, nap or read that book you brought with you. It is always great to have a pool and other amenities for everyone to enjoy as much as going to the beach. Please join us again for many more vacations at "Follow the Sun" in the future.

Follow the sun

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was not clean. It was a dog friendly property, but every time my son got down to play with his toys on the floor he was covered in dog hair from the previous guest. It was so bad that he would break out from the dog hair that was left behind. It was clear the carpet was not vacuumed before we arrived. Other than that we loved the house and beach!

Kitty Hawk Rentals apologizes that the house was not as clean as it should have been for your vacation. We do strongly encourage our guests up arrival at one of properties to immediately let us know if there is any concern in the house, so that we can immediately respond and take care of that concern, so your family can move forward with your vacation with no concerns. Great location

Beach Realty was very professional and helpful. House was a little dated but very clean and well stocked. Minor issues with pool service. Hot tub impeccable. Great Location and convenient to the beach and town of Duck.

Nice, big house

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There house was spacious and clean. Long walk to the beach but short walk into Duck. One bedroom needed a mattress replaced, every single spring squealed and groaned. But overall a great house.
