This was a beautiful spot right on the lake. So relaxing. And everything you need to enjoy your stay. Brian and Carol are the perfect hosts. Highly recommend this rental.

My partner and I had a fantastic week in this pristine cottage. Although the hosts were concerned that we may find it on the small side, we felt that it was the perfect for the two of us. We had more than enough room and it was cozy and comfortable. The hosts were so nice and obviously take a lot of pride in the cottage and its history. It is very clean, nicely decorated, has comfortable beds, good wifi, and has everything you need and more. Exploring the bay in the provided 2 person kayak was great and a loon popped up very close to us on one of our outings! We did several hikes that are close by including Green Mountain, Mary's Mountain, Ossipee Pine Barrens Preserve and White Lake State Park. Having dinner on the deck each night and sitting on the dock until dark was wonderful. We swam almost every day. It is well worth what we feel is a very reasonable price! Thank you, Carole and Brian, for your hospitality and for sharing this gem of a place with us!

Perfect location

This is an adorable, very clean and well maintained cottage. It is just steps from the lake. Everything is supplied, you just need to bring your bathing suit and enjoy the very beautiful lake. The lake is very clean and the water is very clear. Owner lives across the street and is very responsive should you need anything or have any questions. I would highly recommend and would love to stay there again.

Best place yet.

Gorgeous property right on the water. Cottage was adorable and clean. Brian was welcoming and helpful. The only drawback to this rental is that the owner is right across the dirt road and was sometimes working around our yard, (a little intrusive). I would definitely recommend and consider going back .

On the Waterfront

we arrived followed our check in instructions and everything went very well. we met the owners who were very easy going and personable. THIS COTTAGE couldn't have been any closer to the water, you hear the rippling waves and the ducks going by also the loons. i caught a couple nice bass right of the pier. The weather was perfect and location ideal. grocery store, ice cream, convenience store everything within minutes. we were actually sad to leave Brian and Carrol are like a couple you have known for ever. the cottage was small but clean , we HAVE NO complaints. our thanks again for a GREAT TIME. The loons were calling . . .

Staying at cute little “Samuel Cottage” on Berry Bay of Lake Ossipee, NH was a joy from start to finish! The place is immaculate, cleverly furnished, and has most everything you could need for a stay. Outside, the grounds are well landscaped and provided easy access to the water for swimming or using the 2 person sit-on kayak. Brian, our host, (and state representative elect?) was awesome; available and friendly. He even shared with us a little about the history of the cottage and the area. The place felt like home and we didn’t want to leave. Also, the loons calling at night put the experience over the top! Russ Tietjen and Bonnie Mis

They were the defination of outstanding guests. We cannot thank them enough for choosing our cottage and leaving iit in prestine condition.
