Unwind in the comfort of your own heated private pool, or enjoy the convenience of free WiFi, and a smart TV.

The fully stocked kitchen, complete with a stove, oven, refrigerator, grill, and more, makes it easy to prepare delicious meals, while the outdoor furniture provides a lovely setting for alfresco dining.

With 2 bathrooms, towels, basic soaps, a hair dryer, and an iron and board, you'll have all the essentials you need for a comfortable stay. And for the little ones, there are books and games to keep them entertained.

****The property has 2 houses next to each other that share the heated and seasonal pool during the summer (Middle of May - Mid September). They can fit 16 people if booked together. This was the perfect house for my family to stay for a long weekend. It was conviently located to Camelback Mountain where we went snow tubing and only 5 minutes from Mount Airy Casino. The check in and out process was very easy and the house was clean and very comfortable. We would definitely consider staying here again!

Family Weekend

We rented this house with my family, sister, and dad for the weekend. The property is beautiful, clean, and very homey. Easy instructions listed and plenty of games to play. The house was super clean and well decorated. We absolutely loved staying here!

A nice peaceful stay

The house was nice amd the owner was so accommodating. The neighborhood doesn't look the most attractive as the neighbors are close by and live there (not vacation homes). There was used soap still in the showers.

Lovely home

Open concept home with fully stocked kitchen and a cozy feel. The dining room had large windows with a beautiful view of the snowy woods past the backyard. The home was clean and all the rooms were spacious. There was an outdoor fire pit and an in-ground pool but we were there during the winter time so we didn't use them. My family and I truly enjoyed our stay and would love to go back in the summer time.

We had a great vacation in this cozy cabin. The owner of the property was super communicative and really helpful when we needed his help. Besides for that everything else was great; the pool the amenities and everything in between.

I should have pushed for the full refund. Immediately after booking, and taking 2/3 of the rental fee, the owner sent a message saying they could not guarantee our stay. They offered to reschedule or cancel without penalty. Going through VRBO I was only looking at a 20% refund instead of 100%, so I messaged the owner. They claimed it was a miscommunication, and they would guarantee us a pleasant stay. We arrived to a house that was 52F with the thermostat held @61. We tried to adjust but no heat was coming. We called the owner who managed to get the kind neighbor to bring some firewood and the owner delivered only 3 space heaters when they could not get the heat to work. In our 15 hour stay, the lack of heat was extremely uncomfortable. The space heaters stopped working at 3am because they were over worked. We woke up at 7am to a house that was chilling. The thermostat read 70, when heater in the bedroom across the hall was turned on, but the whole house was never above 62. It was 50F outside. The owner offered us a complimentary extension until 5pm the following day, but it was so uncomfortable, we just left by 7:30am. None of us slept well at all. I regret not pushing for the original offer of a zero penalty cancelation. The house was clean, and adorable with a lovely fireplace; probably good for summer only. We did everything right, and yet did not enjoy the stay. Because of the broken heating, they should have refunded us. Proper maintenance is essential to renting.
The large blanket in the sitting area was a sign. It didn't help.

Beautiful Property BUT

Overall this is a beautiful property. The house had everything you needed and the pool was great. The problem we had was the mice activity. Being in the woods we get that there would be critters. This was excessive and there was no remediation visible. Food had to be kept in fridge and cooler to keep from getting eaten by the mice. We had to clean everything in the kitchen before using it. We reached out to the host but no one ever came to do anything about it. We wound up getting our own bait and traps. Because of this it really put a negative spin on our annual family vacation.

Pool is a PLUS

This property will fit all your needs. There is a full bathroom for each bedroom. It was comfortable for 4 adults & 2 children. The living room area could use a larger sofa so all people can view the TV comfortably. The kitchen table was huge & a plus. We had many family meals together & enjoyed the space. One thing to note is the cooktop is induction therefore you'll need to know how to use it. We did a Google search & figured it out. The pool was heated & the kids enjoyed evening swims. The owners have a grill, firepit & chairs for you to use as well. That was a nice touch. Owners are very responsive & want you to have an enjoyable stay. Close & easy drive to coffee, shopping, & grocery stores. The binder of useful information could have instructions on how to use the stove top, pool rules, & more specific instructions about trash/recycling. Our family had a nice time.

This is my first negative review, but necessary. During our 2 night stay I was called 7 times and received numerous texts and Vrbo messages about small things. At first it was not a problem and we complied but several calls, texts and messages in under 36 hours, it felt like micromanagement. He mentioned 50/pp guest fees and 100 pet fee. I was willing to pay I only asked for clarity on everything so we could avoid unknowingly breaking rules. After I said we were starting to feel like a burden he began showing up unannounced.The first encounters were civil. He brought up the pet fee and I said I would comply. I just wanted to see the policy. He showed up again to show a screenshot of what looked like an unpublished draft with a ā€œsaveā€ button. When I questioned it he became irritated, demanded cash and eventually told us to leave. I explained Vrbo requires payments through the platform but he continued insisting.He showed up again to say he would call the cops. I did too. Officers arrived and confirmed he had to go through Vrbo and could not confront us directly. We left after 2 of 5 nights and he refused a partial refund.Our reservation was for 2 adults1 child in a house that sleeps 8. One night included 2 additional adults1 child, still within capacity. If daytime guests or extra fees applied, it wasnā€™t disclosed upfront. Instead we were harassed on site for cash. The property itself is nice but the host was unprofessional, uninformed and created an awful stay.

Unsafe for pets and children

The accommodations were fine and met expectations based on the pictures. However, within two hours of our arrival, my dog had found and chewed up blocks of rodent poison. We were forced to consult an emergency vet, which the host denied our request to pay for. Thankfully, my dog was okay but we had to spend our first night anxiously monitoring her for symptoms related to the ingestion of the neurotoxic poison. The host claimed that poison is not used on the property but at this point in our stay, my dog had only traveled from the car into the house and did not step foot on anybody elseā€™s property. We also found a plastic-encased poisonous trap with the same substance under the sink. The host provided information about the toxicity of the substance that was in direct contradiction to the medical advice we received from the emergency vet. This is concerning considering we had a pet, toddler, and mobile infant and the location of poison was accessible to babies and undisclosed. I would not recommend this house for travelers with small children or pets.
