Storyteller is located in the heart of Wears Valley. Wears Valley is the gateway to the Smoky Mountain National Park, Pigeon Forge, Townsend and a short drive through scenic mountain roads into Gatlinburg.

Our cabin is privately nestled on 1.5 acres in Cove Mountain. WE ARE NOT LISTED ON CRAIGLIST. ITS A SCAM. There is plenty of private parking on our driveway. In just about any seat on our wrap around balcony, you will experience the breathtaking panoramic view of The Smoky Mountains. Enjoy the sounds of nature and you may catch wild jack rabbits, raccoons, and can spot a bear around too!. The smell of fresh mountain air and pine will relax even the most stressed city slickers. Our cabin is pet friendly with owner approval. A non-refundable pet fee applies for pet rentals.

Built in 2005, Storyteller makes a perfect retreat for the entire family or group of friends. With a sofa-bed in the living area, we can accommodate up to 8 ADULTS. TVs and DVD players are located in every room. You will enjoy the fireplace and our movie collection if you stay in any night. All TVs are equipped with cable. We provide everything you will need to cook up your Tennessee meal in our kitchen. Roast marshmallows in our gazebo around a built-in gas fire-pit and share a story or two! You'll love sitting out there drinking hot chocolate in the winter months while the firepit warms you up!

The game room downstairs has a billiards table, wet bar with built-in fridge. Watch your favorite game on TV while you battle it out for the Storyteller billiards championship; we have had all-nighter tournaments! After a long day sightseeing in the Smokies or shopping at the Pigeon Forge outlets, relax and soak up in the outdoor hot tub which has a open view.

Stay with us and you also get a personal travel planner; we will provide you with all the best attractions, restaurants, and activities. For the bikers, the local Harley Davidson shop is just 11 miles from our cabin in Pigeon Forge on light #3. If you prefer to fly n ride, you can rent a motorcycle. Just ask us and we will be glad to provide all the details. Go skiing/snowboarding in Ober Gatlinburg or Cataloochee (Maggie Vally, NC). Explore Cades Cove, Tuckaleechee Cavens, Clingman's Dome, or gamble at the Harrah's Casino in Cherokee, NC. Ready for some thrills, go white water rafting. The Biltmore Estate is also a short drive away. They have a great winery and Estate tour. Just ask, we will give you great travel ideas during your stay with us!

We love dogs and allow them in our the cabin with a pet fee. Please include breed and weight at booking. The cabin is smoke free, you may smoke outside provided that you pick up after yourself ; no buds on the lawn or anywhere else please. No fireworks allowed.

Charcoal BBQ outside in parking area with cover if you want to enjoy some backwoods mountain air bbq. Bad weather? Stay in and watch one of the many movies from the video collection or log into your favorite streaming channel!!
No Excessive Garbage left inside cabin or outside the garbage can. Bears and wildlife will go through it and make a habit of visiting the cabin if garbage is left outside cans provided.

Do not feed the wildlife, especially bears.

The cabin is non-smoking

Pets are not allowed unless approved by the owner and disclosed during the booking process.
2 pets per stay max.

The maximum number of guests is limited to eight (8) people

No fireworks nor bonfires on property grounds
