We enjoyed our stay . The outside area is just heavenly. Tubes were available at the Vrbo . You can ride the chute over and over . Every thing you need in a home away from home was there .. Best vacation area !!!!

Great location

The property is in a less crowded area of the river, but within walking distance to some nice rapids that can easily be enjoyed over and over again. Also a great spot to do some fishing. House had everything you need for a trip to the river. Would definitely stay here again.

Property had everything you needed. River was great and quiet and great place to relax. Most of all, Matt has to be the best property owner I have ever worked with at any other properties we have stayed at. Thanks for everything Matt, you made our stay even better.

Overall GREAT place!

Great place. It was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed or forgot LOL. There was 3 couples and we all slept comfortably. The location was perfect. Matt was very quick to answer any questions and kind in his responses. We will definitely stay here again.

Spring break fantastic

This is the best spot on the river. We had our own little private lake pool and tube shoot! Every spot in the yard is perfect for relaxing. The fire pit was excellent for chilling by the river at night. The front porch was great for enjoying coffee in the morning. Incredible experience for the family to enjoy.

Nice Little Cabin

This place had everything we needed for a winter Guad trout wade fishing trip. Manager was easy to deal with and returned some clothing items that were left behind. I'll rent this place everytime i come back for a winter fishing trip if its available.

Family fun on the river!

My family had such a great weekend here! The home is small but has everything you need and you cannot beat the location on the river!! The lot itself is big, full of different seating spots, and all the trees give shade all day long. Booking was smooth and Matthew was very responsive. We would definitely come back!

Outstanding experience

The cottage was easy to find. The location is extraordinary! I'm a fly fisherman and I was able to step out on the back deck and straight into the water. We enjoyed a picnic, the fire pit roasting marshmallows and hot dogs. That's exactly what I needed for my boys, to experience what I experienced in my television.

On the water

The outdoor space is amazing! There is so much wildlife to see and the water is clean and mostly clear. We ate outside at the picnic tables for every meal and the kids had a great time playing with the provided inner tubes. Checkout was easy, communication was great. I only wish I’d known beforehand about the septic tank so I would have brought wet wipes and ziplocks. We had a great time.

Excellent Experience

Our family of 4 (+ 3 small dogs) stayed very comfortably in this quaint little river house. Everything we needed was provided. Beds & futon were comfy. This spot is excellent with the river and river chute right in our backyard. Beautiful scenery with very serene surroundings. Fire pit was thoroughly enjoyed by our two adult daughters. We got some beautiful pictures. We sat out on the deck and bbq’d one night with all of the beautiful nature surrounding us. I have already forwarded the details of this river house to my niece, who asked about it after seeing the pictures of our stay there. You can’t get any better than this and you most definitely won’t be disappointed. Owner, Matt was quickly available when we had trouble with the door keypad (most likely user error)🤔. Thanks for a wonderful time Matt.☺️

1st Family Trip Ever!!!!

Let me just start off by saying thank you to the owner Matt for being so kind and for letting us stay in his beautiful home! For this trip to be a success was so important to me beings that this was the first time in my life to be able to provide my little family with our first actual vacation. Where to even start, the outside was so clean and presentable when we arrived. The inside of the house was very clean and fully stocked with everything you would need for a week long trip. The back patio was so well lit up with rope lighting, etc... it had such a magical feel to it when we all sat around at night listening to music, laughing and just relaxing. And the fact that the river was right there with a tube chute that you could go down endlessley made it perfect to keep all the kiddos plenty occupied. My wife and I truly enjoyed this place and as crazy as it could be with 4 kids and 2 dogs to keep after, everything went very smoothly thanks to the little effort we had to put into getting things set up. Dishes, utensils, cups, plates, plenty of towels, plenty of chairs, trashbags, everything. It was amazing! We will 100% be back and encourage everyone to give this spot a try on your next trip to the Guadalupe River!
