Mediterranean Villa on the Mesa-Walk to the Beach

If you want to go out on foot, there are at least six great restaurants only a few blocks away. The larger neighborhood of Santa Barbara Mesa is an upscale coastal bluff on the ocean side of the city. It holds easy access to all the area's beaches, from Hendry's to Ledbetter and the walkable stretch between. Surf, swim and sunbathe only six blocks from where you'll stay. The 70-acre Douglas Preserve is only a few blocks from the home, with exceptional panoramic views of the ocean and Channel Islands. Shoreline Park with its similar wide-angle views is a short drive, as is the central Harbor, the wharf and all downtown shopping and dining areas. The Preserve is located on the Mesa above Arroyo Burro Beach where you can find the Boathouse Restaurant and Hendry's Beach.
