Our source of water was designed to collect rain water.
With that being said, our water is non potable!

Our tree house is custom made by our own wood. (no commercial sources)

We used over 10 types of wood in the tree house.

Please keep in mind that you are staying in a TREE HOUSE !! Not in a hotel room. We only provide the essentials, ask us if you have any questions.

The stairs are not design for large individuals.

Kids should be under supervision

Pets are not allowed on any furniture, ( there would be an extra cleaning fee is there is hair around ) we would ask you for a $200 pet deposit additional to the pet fee, that would be reimburse at check out after an inspection.

The art / prints IN THIS HOUSE IS FOR SALE
- There are also prints that can be purchased, allowing you to have memento of your time spent here. the prints has a QR code where you can make a payment or take the art and leave the cash. Just let us know what you are taking.

- Please be mindful that, due to the cabin being built among the trees, you may encounter some bugs inside.

The cabin is gorgeous and was very clean. We stayed to celebrate our anniversary and it was so quiet with the forest right behind and around us. I was surprised how close we were to town! Lots of little shops and bars/diners to eat at! We'll definitely stay again!

Elk County SxS Trip

We stayed in the tree house because of it's location on the Elk County Trail of Dreams. As soon as we parked we were welcomed with the sounds of a nearby stream. The kids enjoyed exploring nature and being secluded. We even learned to enjoy swaying back and forth through a brief thunderstorm. It is a legitimate tree house. With all the natural charm it's easy to forget your only 30 seconds away from the Elk Life Store. There was planting of SxS/ATV traffic going by, but that's why we were there.

Weekend get away

Our trip was great. It was dark till we got there which made it a little tricky to find. But once inside it was all good. It was very clean and cozy. Perfect for a quiet weekend!

Needs cleaned and fixed

We were very disappointed in our stay. We walked in a could smell something. There was garbage in the trash can in the kichen that had dirty diapers in it. The bed my daughter was to sleep in was full of hair and dirty. There were coachroachs laying around. The one cupboard door was broke and the fridge door was broke. The door would not lock when we left. I messaged host about it and got sorry for the inconvenience and we will contact the cleaning company. I did say we made due but i had to clean everything like it was my house. They did not come look at the lock so we felt very unsecure leaving out stuff so we had to take it with is. Saturday we woke up and left from 9 to 730p. When we got back we noticed the garbage in the bathroom was not taken out. The railing for the step was coming apart my husband fixed that. We payed the extra money just incase something would break but im not sure why we did because there was so much stuff broken already. The host said they couldnt get anyone out on Saturday to look at the door but i was never contacted about this. I would not recommend going there if you want to spend your time cleaning. Like i said we made due because finding a place last minute was expensive.

The tree house in Benezette

The tree house was perfect!! We really enjoyed our stay!! It was beautiful and comfortable!! I will say it is for small people like us both less than 130 pounds, the spiral stairway would be challenging for a larger person!! We loved our weekend there!! I would do it again!!

Family celebration

We absolutely loved the Wooded Bliss! Comfortable and unique. An unforgettable getaway for sure. We had trouble getting our checkin info but was quickly resolved. I would highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful cabin, butā€¦.

The cabin was beautiful and very clean. It was close to the visitor center, general store, and hotel/restaurant. The view of the woods and the sound of the water behind the cabin was very peaceful and relaxing. Future renters need to consider that the cabinā€™s water source is rainwater. It has nonpotable water. This was not mentioned in the description prior to booking. Because we were afraid of running out of water while we were there, we did not get showers. The host did not make us aware of this until late the night before our arrival after I requested check in information twice. If we would have known this ahead of time, we probably would have second guessed staying there. But, it worked out that we did not get showers, because we were only given three bath towels for our entire stay. No wash rags. No hand towels. Also, if you are planning on cooking your own food, the kitchen is barely stocked with cooking utensils, pots, and pans. Make sure to bring your own. The living room furniture was sparse and not very comfortable. The spiral staircase was gorgeous. However, it was difficult to use. It was very narrow. I am 5 feet tall and wear a size small. The staircase was the width of me. Anyone larger than that, struggled to get up and down the stairs. Once upstairs, the two bedrooms were very spacious, clean, and comfortable. And the view from the balcony is breathtaking. There was room for two cars to park, but it was tight.

Spring Break Getaway

The tree house was unique and was great for a few days stay. Though it would have been helpful to know ahead of time in the on-line description that the water in not potable. The owners collect rainwater so it's not intended for consumption. Next, communication with the property manager through Vrbo email was a bit difficult...when I initially reserved the property I checked off how many children and their ages. This manager reached out a couple days prior saying the tree house is not suitable for children and asked if we wanted to cancel. She asked this a few times. I explained the above and that my children were not little. So maybe this is something that can be explained in the description, so people know it's not suitable for little children (safety reasons). I also had to ask her for property info./check in code and address, to which she responded that it is provided the day before arrival which it was the day before arrival. Maybe it was just an oversight but that concerned me a bit. We were able to work things out thankfully, and did have a good stay. While there, I did get a call from a gentleman who said he was a 2nd manager (sounded like he takes care of maintenance issues). He wanted to make sure the hot water heater was working and he was planning on having it looked at immediately. Luckily nothing was wrong with it. Just note the water heater is very small. It was good to know they were willing to take care of it immediately. Overall the stay was great!

Unique beautiful convenient rental

This is a clever, beautiful and unique rental in the heart of the Benezette Elk viewing. Mere feet off the main road it sets up against the forest and mountain with a beautiful stream in the back. The property appears to still be a work in progress outside, everything seems clean and new inside. Due to the support of the building partially hanging from the trees and partially on stilts the house is settling unevenly causing minor issues such as uneven flooring and a sliding glass door that is difficult to close. There are 2 small porches and 2 decent sized bedrooms with queen beds upstairs with a small sitting area. The entire rental is new and clean currently The kitchen is generous size with a bar to eat and all amenities one needs. There is a small common area to sit & watch the worlds smallest lcd tv. Great WiFi allows for tv and the only way to check messages and get gps directions to find your way anywhere-there is no cell service at all for miles with att/Verizon on a new iPhone. Negatives are the price is high/ out of proportion to other rentals ($630/n) but thatā€™s a choice you make. There is ONE small but sufficient full bath downstairs and the only water source is from the rainfall held in a plastic tank so the water is NOT drinkable for showers and dishes. The hot water tank is VERY small so allow time. MANY larger or infirm renters WONT fit the circular stairs to the bedrooms & the rental isnā€™t child safe I REALLY enjoyed & would rtn if price drop

Great stay!

Very nice and unique property. Close to a very unique store/cafe and walking distance to an ice cream shop/truck. The stairs to the second floor were a bit small and tough to navigate so we could not get our older dog up there safely and had to have someone sleep downstairs with him.

Girls Weekend

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay. The property was beautiful, as well as the surrounding area. The location was wonderful, close to shopping and eating locations. There were just a couple of things that would I have have known prior to traveling that might have been nice to know about ahead of time, as we could have brought them with us, but they were just a few kitchen items that we wanted to use, but not everyone might need. Definitely a beautiful property!

Beautiful Elk Getaway

This is a beautiful treehouse! The decks overlook Elk State Forest and you can walk out of the house and hike on the game lands! There were fresh elk tracks near the house, but we didnā€™t see any elk close to the town this visit. Elk Life coffee house is just down the road and the visitor center is almost across the street. Windsor Hill viewing area is about a mile up the road as well. The treehouse has updated amenities even though youā€™re in the middle of the woods. The beds were comfortable and whole place was beautifully decorated. The property managers were easily reached if you had questions (like we did) and they were very accommodating! You wonā€™t be disappointed if you stay here!
