This was EXACTLY what we needed for a fun, fall, family get away in our favorite town - Montauk. Great location, secluded property with tons of natural light and open space. Layout is perfect for family time or a quiet nap. Great homebase.

We love this house

My girlfriend's and I love staying here in Montauk! It is the perfect proximity to town and the beach. Naomi is super responsive and helpful. The house has everything you can need for a perfect stay and we made good use of the wood fire stove on chillier nights. Thanks Naomi see you next year!

Perfect getaway from the city

Great house in a great location

Naomi’s home was a great place in a quiet neighborhood of Montauk, still within a short distance to the beach and town. Great kitchen and patio for anyone who wanted to cook at home. Bedrooms were comfortable as well.

Great house and location

We had a great stay at this property. House was the perfect size for our group of 4 adults and a toddler. Loved how close of a walk we were to town. Beach is walkable too though we drove the minute drive to avoid carrying everything. The owner lived nearby and was easily available for questions we had on air conditioning, etc. Would definitely stay again!

Warm and Cozy with the BEST Location

I absolutely loved this wonderful house and where it is located in Montauk. Great walks to the beach and town but yet far away on a dead end to be away from the crowds and cars. Absolutely will be looking to schedule more time here.

This home is in a good location, close to town and on a quiet street. We were allowed to check in a bit early, which was nice. The open floor plan was nice for our family to gather. Now, the cons. Attention is needed especially to the kitchen sink, bathtub, and shower curtain, and to the stained bedroom curtains. There were limited paper goods- we ran out of toilet paper (no extra provided), there was no dishwasher soap, and one trash bag. Overall, the home needs considerable TLC. Also, there is no hot tub as stated in the listing.

Hi Mark, I'm sorry to hear that you were missing items. As you know from talking and texting with me while you were there, I was always available and could have gotten you more toilet paper, trash bags and dish soap. We actually have a stash in the basement that I could have directed you to. I just looked at the Vrbo listen and did correct the hot tub as we've never had one. I hope you enjoyed your wedding and were able to enjoy Montauk and the beautiful fall weekend.

Amazing Stay

My family had the greatest vacation at this home. The house was perfect for our family of 6 and had all of the amenities we could ask for. The location was great and allowed us to have access to town and beach , as well as some privacy. We loved just relaxing on the porch in the evenings. The owners could not have been more gracious and were a pleasure to deal with. I would definitely recommend this property to a friend. Cant wait to go back!

Weekend Getaway

The house was perfect for a nice girls weekend in Montauk. The location is in a nice quiet neighborhood great for walking and only a short walk to the beach. We had a few issues when we first checked in and Numi couldn’t have been more helpful. The house looks just like the pictures - was very spacious with lots of natural light and the deck was great to sit outside and have lunch/dinner. The rooms were spacious and the house had everything we needed. Would absolutely love to stay here again next summer!

Perfect Beach Retreat

As always we love to stay at this property. The home is so welcoming and comfortable. Nothing stuffy here. Ocean breezes as you relax on the deck and it’s quiet with a side of bird calls. House is very clean. Plenty of room for family time in the main living area. Great bedrooms and baths. Easy parking. Close to beach and every town spot. Netflix if you need your fix too! Thank you!

Loved this place!

We loved our stay here! Property is light, breezy, and beautiful with a great, well-equipped kitchen. Great location and can walk/bike to town and beaches. Hiking right down the street. Perfect place to spend a few days! Some cons to think about: almost no window coverings so we were all up with the sun, no toilet paper, laundry/dishwasher detergent upon arrival so we needed to purchase all of these things right away. There were a couple bikes for guests to use but neither were functional.

October in Montauk

Great location and nice house but a little worn. We stayed with friends who had never been to VRBO and they were not impressed. There is no hot tub as was advertised. Host was always responsive but not local. We ran out of toilet paper(a repeat critique) and had no paper towels or dish soap. It would have been nice to have a few coffee items for the super nice espresso machine.

Fabulous location

Location should mention more about how well located yet private the home is! We were able to walk to town without a problem! Very private and quiet which was awesome and relaxing 🌞. Also I think some listing details may need updating .. perhaps a new shower has replaced the jacuzzi tub? Was sooo looking forward to a soak in a jacuzzi tub but didn’t find one as mentioned in listing.. Otherwise property was great .. a few windows need some tlc, upstairs toilet runs, had to use plunger on the very first shower there , but all in all a stellar property and easy check in and out . Only 3 of us made it not 6 but would have been plenty of room even if 6! Hope we can return at some point!

Good location and space

The home is in a quiet neighborhood yet walkable to town which is great. The first floor has an open floor plan so it is comfortable for a group to be together. The owner is very responsive and quickly available for questions or concerns. That being said I believe the owner is not local and therefore may not have seen the property in awhile. The house needs TLC. The main floor bathroom tub needs care, the kitchen cabinets are abused, painting, stained curtains, overall attention to the details of the home would be good. Also did not use the washer dryer as they are in the basement and it smelled very damp when I opened that door. You must also provide your own bath products and there are limited paper goods. This is a disappointment based on the per Night price one is paying.

Hi Vera- I’m so sorry to hear you felt that way. We rent all the time, love and care for that house and use it ourselves. Nobody has anything to say but positive things. The tub was clogged but as soon as you called, we sent someone over and got it fixed. I will look at the curtains but we don’t even have any downstairs. It had been raining a lot before you got there and even during your stay. Maybe that’s why the basement was damp? We have an air purifier and dehumidifier so never heard anyone say it was damp. We bought our first house on this street in 1999 and fell in love with the area because of its proximity to Shadmore State Park, the ocean and town. The street itself was reminiscent of the days when we used to go to the beach ourselves. Much of the land in and around the houses there are preserved as wetlands, never to be built, so the sounds of birds and the smell of ocean and site of high growing sea grass abounds. Recently, we purchased a second home on this street with the hopes that one day our 3 children will be able to continue the tradition of summering in Montauk. In the meantime, we will be renting it out and using it for our guests. We hope you take the opportunity to rent for a week or a summer as its truly a magical place.
