WALK TO THE BEACH- never deal with limited or restricted beach parking. Ride your bike or walk to the beach throughout the day

Super Cute 2 bedroom cottage that overlooks a nature preserve sleeps 4. Just 3 short blocks to the iconic Ditch Plains beach. Features a brand new modern bathroom and a modern kitchen that spills out to the new mahogany front deck and rear deck. The great back yard is accessed from the rear deck where you can enjoy cooking on a new weber grill and lounge on the outdoor furniture. The rear deck also has an outdoor shower. Each bedroom features a queen bed (one bed being a tempurpedic) with Egyptian cotton sheets and down pillows. Both bedroom come with ample closet space. There is a Bose bluetooth sound system, Wifi, Cable and Apple TV. Four bicycles are provided for easy cruising to the beach or to town. Beach chairs, beach umbrella and beach wagon are included.

A security camera is located at the driveway entrance for your safety and security.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations permitted with a 10% fee plus the amount of any revenue shortfall from a successful re-renting. We strongly encourage renter to purchase travelers insurance as a means of payment protection.

Wonderful location and very comfortable stay. As a family traveling with kids and pets, we appreciated that this property allowed pets, was clean when we arrived, and had just about all we needed for an enjoyable stay. Communication was prompt and efficient, and check-in was a breeze. There are areas of the home that need renovating, particularly the bathroom, but overall a very lovely stay. We highly recommend this home and would love to stay at this property again in the future.

Great beach house with all the amenities! Perfect space for our family of 4 and an easy walk to the beach. Having bikes and beach chairs made it that much easier. The outdoor shower was amazing- used it everyday.

Absolutely amazing!

Our week here was just perfect. The house is adorable, comfortable and has everything you need. The location also can't be beat - it's so close to Ditch and is on a very quiet street. Our host was also beyond responsive and helpful - I can't wait to go back again!

Amazing Time!

We absolutely loved our stay at this awesome cottage near Ditch Plains. The cottage was super clean and had everything we needed to have a great stay. The location is perfect as it is close enough to walk to Ditch Plains. We look forward to returning next summer!

I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. The cottage is furnished with mid century modern furniture, such as the beautiful Adrian Pearsall sofa. The bathroom is a 1960's period bathroom in perfect condition with updated electric (as it is throughout the house). It has vintage yellow tile and a yellow tub that is irreplaceable. It is in keeping with the style of the house. The photos within the listing are exact representations of the house.

Relaxing getaway....

The Brisbane Ditch Plains cottage provides a lovely escape from the frenzied pace of life. The cottage is well equipped, clean and comfortable with a nice size kitchen dining area. Chris, the owner is responsive to concerns and questions. It's a short walk to Ditch Plains beach. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Bianca, thank you for your review. The cottage is generally appreciated by those that have an eclectic taste for design. Modern touches include a completely updated kitchen and large flat screen tv. What makes the cottage interesting is that it is furnished with a mix of mid century modern pieces, such as an Adrian Pearsall sofa in the living room and a leather George Smith sofa in front of the brick lined wood stove. The are also period antiques and local art interspersed. The bathroom has vintage tile that we love. It is a beach cottage with character. I'm sorry you expected something different but most people who generally review the cottage with 5 stars state that the cottage is nicer than the photos that clearly depict the style and feel of the cottage.

Great Property, Location & Hosts

The cottage is so super cute and has a modern kitchen, a working fireplace, and a great seating set up. The bed and mattress was so comfortable. I was also able to enjoy both the front and back decks. Ditch is an great neighborhood, a 5 minute walk to the beach, and a great neighborhood to walk the dog and not worry about lots of traffic. The hosts were extremely accommodating and gracious. I would definitely stay here again.

Great weekend stay

The property owner was great to deal with. Timely & polite. The cottage is totally walkable to great Ditch Plains beaches. The place and amenities were precise to the listing. We had a rainy weekend, so we spent more time there than expected and were comfortable. The other homes are close by, but the neighborhood is quiet. Slept to the sound of crickets and surf off in the distance. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of linens. We used fireplace as it was super damp one night. Plenty of firewood available in town. Kitchen was great, washer dryer worked. Plenty of seating available outside. There’s a good list of activities, restaurants & services in the rental agreement doc. 5 min drive to downtown Montauk. Would stay again!
