AZVR For Seniors is a Midterm Vacation Home or Extended Stay that is Turn-Key ready to provide your temporary housing needs at a more affordable rate with all the conveniences of home that a hotel does not provide or would be cost-prohibitive. This is an ideal short-term monthly stay (30 nights minimum), suitable for winter snowbirds, working professionals, relocations, or transitioning.

This condo is just steps away from the clubhouse and pool/spa area. The landscaping is spectacular, and very well lit at night if you like evening walks throughout the community. There are several outdoor community seating areas and a private area for sipping your morning coffee or evening wine while throwing a steak on the gas grill. You have one covered parking space shaded 24/7, close to the condo.

The interior was designed to give that Zen-like, calm, relaxed feeling with lots of sunlight. The living areas are an open floor plan with one side of walls virtually all glass that brings the outdoors in. The furniture is warm, inviting, and comfortable. There is a 55-inch HDTV with a full 120 cable channels, including ESPN, HBO, Showtime, Digital music, with a talking remote so you don't have to hunt for your favorite shows. You can even log into your Netflix or Prime streaming accounts. We just updated the modem and router for high-speed WIFI service. Ceiling fans throughout for that fresh air feeling.

Kitchen is fully equipped with all appliances and kitchenware; Keurig coffee bar with grinder and latte frother, Toaster oven for those smaller items and snacks, but big enough for a 13-inch pizza, and an Air Fryer. If you enjoy smoothies, there is a 1500-watt Blender too, as well as other essentials. There are cleaning supplies available, so you don't have to go buy everything; we only ask you to replenish what you use up. You won't be lacking for anything.

This NW suburb of Phoenix is called the city of Peoria, is right next door to Sun City on the West side, Glendale to the East side, and the Arrowhead community to the north. This area is very desirable for the way it caters to Seniors and is also family-friendly. There is everything imaginable at your fingertips. We even have our own Cracker Barrel Restaurant right down the street without even leaving the area, too, but once you hit Bell Rd, it explodes into an extravaganza of every kind of shop and restaurant imaginable, not to mention Costco and Sam's club, Trader Joe's, and a street farmers market on Thursday. Need your script filled or a battery, or something from the dollar store, just down the block, too. You won't spend a lot on gas here. Bring your golf clubs and your bike because we have biking trails and a championship golf course with several 18-hole courses to choose from, just a few steps away. But if you want to explore more of Arizona, we are just down the road from the 101 freeway, which is the major hub to any direction you want to go from Tucson to Flagstaff. You want to check out Sedona for healing and mystic energy, Red Rocks, Prescott Whiskey Row, Antique shops galore, and of course, the Rodeos or Oak Creek Canyon for a nice outdoor day among the trees and streams. You don't want to miss the very interesting town of Jerome, an old copper mining town, and Tucson's famous Tombstone. If you miss the snow, we have some around, too. Arizona doesn't lack entertainment either, with live theaters with chef-prepared dinner shows. Many concert venues year-round, wine tasting events, and the Botanical Gardens, to name a few. Want to have a picnic by the lake? We have one 45 minutes away called Lake Pleasant, and you have to stop along the way and visit the Wild Horse West Saloon for the best fresh homemade hamburger and cold brew I've ever had (just bring cash only). I'm from California originally and never imagined living in Arizona, but here I am 45 years later! You will fall in love with our mild, mostly sunny winters for sure.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Upon pre-approval after you request your stay, VRBO will provide contact information whereby we can communicate directly instead of through a third-party app. It is at this time that you will be sent rental documents to complete, review, and sign to confirm your stay, along with providing a picture ID. This is a licensed business, and we must conform to this state's long-term rental laws for stays of 30 nights or more. If not completed, it will lead to a cancellation and a refund of your money.

Upon arrival, you will receive a meet and greet by management and be escorted through the gated community to the condo where you will be staying, at which time you will be given a tour of the Condo where you can confirm what you saw online and is what you received upon arrival, as well as a chance to ask any questions.

***The fully refundable Cleaning and Security Deposits will be due no later than upon arrival in order to obtain keys to the property. We accept only the following payment methods: Cash, Western Union money order, or Zelle person-to-person bank transfer (NO personal checks). So please plan ahead for this final expense upon arrival to avoid complications at the last minute!
