We had a great vacation at the house. Didn’t want to leave! We were comfortable at the house. It was clean and close to the beach. The host was great at responding to all questions and did a great job at sharing all needed details. Just be sure to put the young people on the top floor…lots of stairs! Parking is definitely tight for larger vehicles so believe the details provided about parking.

We absolutely loved our stay at Horizon! The property was clean and well maintained. The rooms and bathrooms were fantastic. The beach access was extremely convenient. The pool is covered so it was a great place to cool off and take a break from the sun. The kitchen was great, we cooked . We took the advice to pack light and used the washer / dryer. We were very impressed with the customer service displayed by our host. He gave great direction and was always responsive. We would highly recommend this property!!

The location is great! The house has a private beach access and a great pool area. The house is large and the 4 levels allow for multiple families to have plenty of room. It would be great if the elevator was available for use. Last year we stayed accross the street in the same community and was able to use the elevator. The only negatives are the dryer and ice maker do not work well at all. Also, family room furniture is stained and dirty. We had to cover it will blankets and towels. For the cost, these items should be addressed. Overall, it was a great week at the Horizon!

We had a great stay. The covered pool was an absolute hit. So lovely if there’s a storm out. The grill is gas and super easy to use! The balconies were beautiful. Very nice washing machine. Dryer wasn’t working but maintenance was quickly scheduled upon departure. There are plenty of plates and silverware but please be mindful: no blankets, no plastic/kid safe dishes, and a very limited kitchen in terms of tools for cooking and serving. The walk to the beach is super short. One critique I have would be more beach access keys. Two are provided but for a 7 bedroom house that sleeps 16, you’ll need more than 2. The gate requires the fob for entry AND exit. You’ll be stuck if you don’t stay with the fob holder! The property was very clean and felt super private. This is a great spot. We will be back!!

We appreciate you letting us know about the dryer, and we're glad our team was able to schedule the repair quickly. While we're surprised to hear that, as most guests find the home to be well stocked, we wish you would have mentioned it during your stay so we could have provided additional kitchen items. We also understand the concern about the beach access keys and gate fob. Beach access and the community gate are controlled by the HOA rather than by us, and we would gladly have contacted the HOA on your behalf if you had let us know during your stay. We look forward to welcoming you back to the Emerald Coast anytime!

House was great size for 14 people including teenagers and babies. Lots of steps and you can’t use the elevator. The house is beautiful and has a bunch of room. The kitchen is a nice size. The beach access is across the street and a bunch of steps down to the beach.Tips- bring chairs because it’s 50 for 2 chairs and an umbrella per day. - stop off at Cumberland Farms and get ice, trash bags, dishwasher detergent and dishwashing soap, and paper towels. They have small quantities available, like 10 trash bags. The ice maker doesn’t work great or keep up so you can pull ice from the bag for drinks.- bring your own soap, shampoo and conditioner- bring towels for pool, they aren’t provided.- water heater was finicky so check when you get there to make sure it works.- double check that the golf cart is charging, it wasn’t working but thankfully it was our last day.The pool is nice but tiny. More of a dipping pool but great after the beach and nice it’s covered and heated. I would definitely stay here again but with all of the above in mind.

Lovely property

We stayed at Horizon with 2 of our children and their families. The bedrooms with their own baths were perfect. There was more than enough room. We had a wonderful time together that went too quickly. The children had a blast in the pool and also at the beach which is very close.

The location was very convenient, and the private beach access was a huge plus. The beach was not overly crowded, which we really enjoyed. The beds were comfortable, and overall the home worked well for our stay.The kitchen had plenty of dishes and utensils, including what seemed like 100 steak knives! However, some basic kitchen staples that we expected, such as salt and pepper, were not provided, so you may want to bring your own.One area that could definitely use some attention is the living room furniture. It was noticeably dirty and could benefit from a thorough cleaning.The house does have an elevator, but it is not available for guest use and is reserved for housekeeping. We had seen the elevator mentioned in a previous review and mistakenly assumed it would be available to guests. The listing itself did not state that the elevator was available, so that was our misunderstanding. Just something to be aware of when packing, because you will need to carry your luggage up and down four flights of stairs.Overall, the convenient location, private beach access, and comfortable beds were definite positives. With some additional attention to the cleanliness of the living room furniture and a few basic kitchen staples, the stay could be even better.

Fabulous senior trip!

This property is in a great location. All communication with the host was expeditious and very welcoming. The house setup is perfect for multiple families. There are a lot of stairs. There is a slow elevator.

Memories made at Horizon

Our family really enjoyed this spacious and beautiful home. The open area of the kitchen, dining and family room accommodated us very well. The golf cart really came in handy for our many trips to Seaside and visiting the ice cream shops for our nightly fix of desserts. The covered pool was enjoyed by everybody….cool and refreshing! The elevator was a plus as we were coming and going. Our family would definitely consider staying here again and the representative Todd was always available if we had any questions. .

Great Location and Spacious rooms

We had four families for spring break. Location is amazing bc close to things but not in the chaos of 30A “squares”. Beach is not crowded here too bc around so many gated/private areas. Pool was great covered especially with dicey weather. Communication is not personal but we did have an issue with TV and they were super fast to respond. The kitchen could use a few more cookware for big crowds, but we made it work. Fun to cook in with two fish markets close by. Golf cart was nice too and walking trails right behind are fantastic!

Even better than we anticipated!

This house is truly perfect for any large group looking for plenty of space and close proximity to the beach! The house is perfectly laid out allowing everyone privacy with the en suite rooms and a very open main room that was perfect for nights in. We loved the private balconies, especially with the ocean views from the top floor. Our kids loved the covered pool after spending time at the beach. This house has gated private beach access directly across the street from the house (even closer than you would imagine). Although many reviews stated the parking was tight, we managed to fit 4 SUVs in the driveway with room for the golf cart on the side. Horizon and Legacy Beach Homes gets 5 stars from our family!!!

HS Friends Reunion

Property was big and beautiful. Large enough to handle 6 adult couples comfortably. Location is perfect with beach being less than 5 minute walk and a nice central location on 30A with plenty of restaurants close by. Beds and furnishings are very nice as this is a still new property. Lots of kitchen supplies to cook and eat in the house. Having the golf cart came in handy as parking at the house and everywhere else is tight. 4th floor balcony/patio is a great gathering spot for everybody. Having a private en-suite bath for every bedroom is an underrated feature and was key to our group’s awesome stay here. Highly recommend this property for large adult groups like ours.
