Family Kingdom Amusement Park and the 2nd Avenue Pier are both within a mile of the condo.

“Our stay at Holiday towers was average. The condo itself was not quite what we expected, and we were relocated during our trip, which was inconvenient. the customer service team truly saved our vacation. They were responsive, helpful, and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. While the property itself wasn’t a standout, the service made a big difference, and for that we are grateful.”

The place was really clean and 1 block from the beach. You could see the beach from the living room watching a pretty nice TV with the basic Direct TV package. You could see down Ocean Blvd and the ferris wheel from the balcony and the pool, tennis court, grill from the bedroom windows. It was close to the action of the boardwalk and had a convivence store, coffee shop and ice cream place close. There were a couple of maintenace guys affiliated with the property working during the day and a security guard in the parking lot checking passes at night. We were worried about some of the reviews here but the building and room were nice. My mom said "get this same unit next time".

Wonderful property and staff, the unit was pretty good.

If you want to cook a meal, bring the things you will need, I needed to purchase a stock pot and large colander for pasta for 6 people. Two cookie sheets. Thank fully I brought my own nonstick skillet cooking utensils, pitcher, K-cup machine. You may want to bring a bed sheet or two because the master bedroom faces east and has sheer blinds. Bring measuring cups and spoons. Beach access was a very short 2 block walk. Shower outside Holiday Towers to rinse off sand. Pool and hot tub were great. Two outdoor grills that are cleaned EVERYDAY. I cooked chicken and hot dogs. I brought my own tongs and meat probe. There is a security guard that patrols the property every night. Property was quiet and filled mostly with families, locals, and retirees. The board walk is about 15 blocks away, you may want to drive there.

Vacasa is the rental company

After I rented the location. I received an email from Vacasa (third party vacation rental company). The required me to verify my identity. I did not do it at the moment because I made the reservation at 11pm. So I didn't think about it until the next day. So, the next day I see another email stating my rental will be canceled because I didn't verify my identity with-in just 12 hours. I called the phone number provided and after calling back 3 times and almost 1.5 hours, I was verified. The location was clean and looked like the pictures. However, the primary shower was missing one of the shower doors. The third bedroom was an sofa bed. That was not clearly identified in the rental ad. We had to pull it out and find bedding. Which was not readily available. The check-in notes stated that there will only be one parking pass but there were two paper guest passes on provided on the table. This was great because it was for 3 adults and we had two cars. The next day, an older man banged on the door rudely. He didn't introduce himself and barked at us "you are only allowed one parking pass".

Coming back next year!

Within walking distance of the beach and so many shops/food spots. Beautiful view of the ocean and plenty of room for our family of 6 (infant and toddler included). Contact with the property was fast and they were always helpful. This will definitely be the place to stay for our future vacations!

Not happy

Where do I start: first my rental car was ticketed by management to be towed, because my parking pass that I was given was fake. Management told me that the owner could be fined. I call Vacasa the company that I rented from to complain about the parking and I also complained about the cleanliness of our room. There was a ball of black hair on top of the hand towel in clear sight, hair beside bed, a large brown spot on floor, splashed food on the dishwasher, only one glass door and a shower curtain, and I was told there was no smoking anywhere on premises and there were several large ashtrays outside and people smoking. The last full day of our stay we came back to the room, to find the parking pass inside the room and we could tell someone had been there and left the patio door open; which we knew that we shut. I realized that the parking pass was not brought for us, but for the next person checking in. Overall if I could have left 0 stars I would have.

Really enjoyed it.

Everything about the condo was very nice. The only bad thing I can say is about the parking pass and the weed smell. Almost got a citation as soon as well got there, didn't even get to the room to get the parking pass, but the security officer was very nice and told us to get it ASAP. The constant weed smell coming from the other units bothered us some, but that is expected now a days. If I ever decide to go back to Myrtle Beach I will try to get this place again. Very close to everything no need to drive anywhere.
