Beautiful 4-bedroom oceanfront house! Ask about longer stay discounts!

The backyard of this home will bring you to a sweeping view of the Pacific Ocean, with miles of white sandy beaches to walk. A seal colony is just down the beach. This is a pet-friendly four-bedroom home. Please note that there is no direct ocean view from the house, but a few steps and you have an amazing view!

Any pets are $50.00 extra, per pet for the entire stay.

Waldport is located just 15 minutes south of Newport and 15 minutes north of Yachats. Too many activities to list, but feel free to ask us about local attractions. Crabbing rings are provided and there is a free crabbing dock in Waldport. There is so much stuff to do, you won't forget this vacation soon!

The location of this house really is spectacular. It's nicely furnished and fully equipped with everything you need for a relaxing and pleasant stay. The house is full of nice toys and great games. It also has built-in safety guards at the stairs to protect your little ones.

Note: Check-in is at 4PM and all guests must be out of the home no later than 11AM on the last day of their stay.

Great house! Incredible location, really great place to stay for families with kids. Really happy that there were built in baby gates at the top of both stairs. Unfortunately, lots of little things in the house were broken or not upkept. One microwave had a cardboard out of order sign on it, the other had the handle broken off. The drain stop in the master bath didnt work properly, the fridge was flashing that the water filter needed to be replaced etc etc. Nothing major, but enough things that added up to notice. Overall, nice house, very clean, great location. Would definitely stay here again.

The hosts can be very hard to get a hold of! Make sure you contact them for the code within the week prior to your stay! Claudia had given me the code well prior to that and by the day of our stay, the code had been changed. I tried contacting her repeatedly by test, messaging and calling with response. It turns out she was out of the country and didn't get back to me until the next day. Fortunately we were able to access a list with other contacts and get the code so we were able to get into the house and didn't have to stay the night in a hotel. The person we were able to contact also lives overseas, apparently. We also ran out of toilet paper (we were given 4 rolls for 7 people for a 6 night stay) and it took about 36 hours to get a response, by which time we were checking out. Overall the house is very spacious, it is adequately kept and clean, though very obviously a rental (poor paint job, things are moderately worn).The stopper for the tub in the primary bath did not seal so we could not use it for baths, so don't plan on soaking there. There are no screens on the windows and since it was quite warm we needed to keep them open which meant we got some moths and other bugs flying around the house. The house also has drain flies, though not too many. The beach itself is great, we stay at Bayshore nearly every year and keep coming back for the beach in combination with the pool, as well as easy access to crabbing (though not good this year).

Unfortunately, for the price we paid, I hoped for better. There were issues with the house not being “turned over” from last guest and the host was very kind and responsive. Still so disappointing to walk into a mess on your vacation. One bedroom was different than the booking and not what we planned for. The heating situation is rough during the winter. Loud wall heater in the living room or no heat are your options. Multiple light bulbs out or missing. I almost didn’t write a review because the host was so kind and the location was so great, but with all the fees and total cost, it was not worth it.

Comfortable, open spaces, amazing location

We want to come back and stay longer. Comfortable homey , great location with an awesome kitchen for cooking the catch from the sea on our boating adventures. Bring shamppoh, bar soap for showers. The hose is sticked with all the equipment you need for cooking, relaxing, and playing on the beach. Beds comfy.

Great beach location for a family!

We loved the location and all the room in the house. It's bigger than it appears in the listing. There was a great selection of games and toys for our kids and our dog. Access to the beach was fantastic. The house does show a little wear and tear, especially the exterior, but nothing that made our stay anything less than comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

Family gathering at the beach

This property was perfect for a family with little ones as well as teenagers. The playroom was such fun for the young kids to discover. There is plenty of room for older kids to flop on the couch with a book or device. Lots of beds, well stocked kitchen, lovely large table for all of us to gather around and the ocean is just steps away. Love this house!

Extremely Disappointing - not as advertised and dirty

This place has a lot of potential, but is not taken care of and not furnished as advertised: -The furniture does not match the postings, every room is different -The carpet is worn out and dirty -There are stains on the couches -The whole place feels dirty -Mismatched old sheets -There was sand between the sheets in our son's bed -The kitchen utensils were old and looked questionable -There were two different colored liquid spills on the cooktop, it clearly wasn't clean -Microwave smells of burnt popcorn -The back outdoor patio is littered with stuff, empty cans, scattered broken plastic toys, the grill with no lid, grill grate laying half buried in the sand, grilling utensil laying on the ground -There are no fires allowed near the house, yet there was left over burnt wood scattered in the back yard -The paint on the house is horribly peeling and looks terrible These may sound nitpicky to some, but considering the amount we paid, this place is simply way overpriced. The location has so much potential, and the house is very large, it just hasn't been taken care of. This is by far the worse vacation home we have ever stayed at, the worse experience we have had with VRBO and is significantly overpriced. We don't usually leave reviews, especially not bad reviews, but this needed to be shared.

Great for kids and great location

We loved our stay! The kids (6, 4, and 2) had a blast with the toys and loved the bunk beds. Being able to step out onto the sand was fabulous and we’d definitely stay again.

Great location

We had a great time, it was a chance to gather and celebrate and relax. We visited during the King Tides and were able to enjoy them we were located in the perfect spot, you could go north to Depot Bay or South to Yachats to see the tides. This house could use a bit of maintenance on the outside (paint). But it the inside had all the amenities and space a person would need.
