This Mountain Modern Home has a Twist of Traditional Mountain Craftsmanship and modern appointments located on the banks of the Rio Grande River. The home features 4 Bedrooms that each have Private Bathrooms, a large media/game room with access to a 5th bathroom. If you are looking for a home that is the next caliber in a vacation rental stay this property is the answer. There is a focus on a tantalizing outdoor living space that is a covered stamped concrete patio that overlooks the river. This outdoor living space is set up with outdoor furniture including an eating area, grill, outdoor couches, tv and firepit. The home has a very open floor plan, but also individual space to provide entertainment or even a quite sitting area depending upon the needs of various guests. The home is fully appointed and offers incredibly fast internet for devices and the need to conduct business if necessary on vacation. This property is located about 20 minutes from Wolf Creek Ski Area, which typically receives the most snow in Colorado. The Legendary Rio Grande Club golf course is about 5 minutes away and the property is located on a "Gold Medal" section of fly fishing water. This is a perfect mountain retreat for fall, winter, spring, and summer. You will enjoy your stay at the Lucky Duck"

There is a 3 car wide Driveway in front to the home and an overflow parking area that is ideal for Rigs with ATV & Snowmobile trailers. This is the perfect basecamp for your recreational needs.

The are NO ATV'S allowed on the streets in this Subdivision. Failure to comply with this rule will result in automatic forfeiture of Security Deposit.
All parking needs to be on the property and not the street. The Town of South Fork can and will impose fines on you as the renter.

There is also another Beau Meyer Realty property next door you can also rent for large family gatherings.

Beautiful home with a ton of space and beds to accommodate our extended family! We enjoyed the easy access to river and hot tubā€¦the weather in south fork was even warm enough to sit comfortably around the fire pit in December! Home had plenty of kitchen items to cook for a crowd and was an easy drive to wolf creek to ski. We loved our stay at Lucky Duck!

Fresh air and beautiful home!

We stayed a week at the Lucky Duck and it was amazing! Host was very quick to reply to questions, home was beautiful and clean, back patio was fantastic with the view of the Rio Grande. Would definitely book this home for a stay again!

Great house!

Loved the house, perfect size and location for a 3 family, family ski trip to Wolf Creek. Extremely clean and everything we needed. Finishes and contents were higher end than most rentals weā€™ve stayed at, but the best part was the number of bathrooms. Will stay again for sure!

Best Colorado Vacation Ever!

Everything was perfect from self check in to check out. This house has the perfect space to both have room to spread out, while having many cozy spaces to come together and relax as a family. The beds were all very comfortable and everything was clean and immaculate! The property owner was very personable and responsive. We will absolutely be back!

Beautiful Mountain Home

Our group of 11 stayed here for a ski vacation and had a blast! The house is beautiful, modern, and spacious. The layout is excellent for multiple families, all the beds were super comfortable, and the large hangout spaces and fossball table upstairs were a hit with the kids and teens.

This house was amazing and Beau was so helpful!

This is my 2nd time staying in South Fork, both with Beau. He was always available for any questions and his properties are top notch! This house was gorgeous and fit my entire family perfectly (8 adults and 7 kids). The kids especially loved the hot tub and the "kids/game room."

The Lucky Duck on the Rio Grande is a beautiful spacious lodge in a scenic location close to South Fork, but still felt tucked away on the river. Felt brand new & clean, but still the rustic mountain cabin aura, with plenty of room & amenities for multiple families. The host was responsive & helpful & gracious & friendly.Hot tub & fire pit are great amenities.2 master bedroom setups downstairs major plus! Canā€™t wait to visit the Lucky Duck & South Fork again!

19 family members stay 5 days

This place was even better than the pictures. We ended up having 19 of my kids and grandkids with us from Kansas ( a flat land) and everyone had room to sleep and a place to eat. The house was wonderful, and had all the things that we needed to make our 5 days a wonderful memory. We loved the location to Pagosa Springs and the Hippy Hot Springs and Rafting down the river, and also the Reservoir which was not far. We spent the day there just enjoying the trails and the beautiful water on the lake. Overall, one of our best VRBO vacations ever.

Wow. This place was tops. We all want to stay here again. We have been coming to South Fork for work and this has beat all the other places we have stayed! Such a beautiful place! The house has a very well stocked kitchen, is exceptionally clean, provides lots of extra towels, has lovely firepit area outside.

A Fantastic Find

This was one of the nicest VRBO properties we have stayed in. The house, the location and views were beautifulā€¦right on the Rio Grande and Mountain Viewā€™s in the front and back. The back porch is very comfortable and an awesome fire pit (wood provided). The kitchen and appliances are top notch. The only warning is that the larger beds have very firm mattresses.

We all loved being there, the beautiful house, the great host, during our stay the only thing that prevented us from enjoying the outdoors was that it snowed during our entire stay, we loved the hot tub during the snow, we hope to return soon.
