The Luxury Oceanfront Balinese Oasis has the best view of any place we have stayed at. The home is also the nicest place we have stayed at. We felt like royalty. We would recommend this place to anyone who is visiting The Big Island.

I can’t possibly say enough about how great our stay was. We had family from Hawaii, the mainland and Japan gathering for a wedding on location and it was challenging, but everything worked out fantastic in the end. Adam was absolutely wonderful from helping receive and trim our flowers before we arrived, to providing whatever we needed and truly going above and beyond. The property and home were so beautiful, clean and comfortable and everything we needed was available. A very special place!

Bali Kai was a wonderful, calming family oasis

The house and views were amazing. It was a wonderfully relaxing retreat after a few busy days in Kona. I would highly recommend for anybody who is looking to decompress and relax. If you are traveling with young kids, I would point out that is more of a small compound, where the bedrooms are all close to each other but some of their entrances are outside of the primary house, but it is very conveniently set-up. It was perfect for our family who absolutely loved the place and the beautiful environment/views.

Stunning house on the beautiful island of Hawaii. We had an awesome stay, everything was perfect, none of us wanted to leave. We will definitely try to come back. I could not recommend this more. Thank you Kate and Katie!

AMAZING!

Everything about our stay was AMAZING! Everything was as described. Our family loved the open air home with patio and views. We spent significant time out on the patio watching the sunrise, looking at the stars, listening to the waves, and whale watching. Kate was a fabulous host. Everything we needed was there and she also provided great suggestions and connections, including an outstanding masseuse who came to the house. We have zero complaints and hope to stay here again in the future.

Did not enjoy the abundance of geckos in house. Difficult to tell what light switch was for which light. Missing screens made it hard to enjoy the sea breeze without leaving doors open. Otherwise nice home on beautiful property.

We truly appreciate your input as it helps us improve the experience for future guests. We understand that the presence of geckos can be startling for some guests. Please know that they are a common part of the local ecosystem in our area and are harmless. We have taken note of your concern and will look into ways to minimize their presence inside the house. We apologize for any confusion with the light switches. We will work on creating a guide or labeling the switches to make it easier for guests to navigate the home's lighting. Regarding the missing screens, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. We are in the process of repairing and replacing a few of the screens to ensure that our guests can enjoy the refreshing sea breeze without any worries. Incredible Getaway!

This property is STUNNING. We wanted ocean views, and Bali Kai delivered!! We were fortunate to be among the guests that spied humpback whales in the distance while sipping our coffee -- no need to book a separate tour!Our group was a small family reunion (two families and a grandparent). I wouldn't bring very small children here, because of the cliffside location, but our 9 and 10 year olds had a healthy respect for the boundaries. You know your people best, for sure.The mix of rooms was perfect, allowing family units to be together without being in each other's business all the time, while still having beautiful communal spaces for food and socializing.Speaking of food -- this was the best equipped kitchen I've ever had in a rental. We love to cook, and we had absolutely everything at our fingertips. The thoughtful provisioning extended to beach gear such as towels and chairs and everything needed to do some laundry after a few days of playing hard. Kate was a wonderful host, pointing us to lots of fun activities and sightseeing. We hated to leave, but we left refreshed and relaxed!

Very special place. Beautiful home well appointed and a comfy homey feel. Very clean and not too far from town and sites to see. Our family found it very spacious and we enjoyed the jacuzzi every evening. Mahalo

WOW! This has to be the nicest, most elegant, most beautiful property I have ever inhabited. Every last detail has been attended to with ultimate artistry and panache! From the custom-built furniture, to the elegantly constructed and appointed (many!) rooms, to the unparalleled views, the out-of-this-world landscaping, and to top it off the phenomenal communication and generosity of the host couple, these accommodations by far exceeded any expectations I had.
