Villa Trepanier is one of only two, 3 bedroom houses available for rental in this unique and safe area of the island located an 8-minute walk along the ocean front to all the main town has to offer: shopping, grocery, liquor stores, fruit market, restaurants, bars, etc. Upon your arrival you can enjoy the content of the complimentary gift basket.

“Villa Trepanier” is a modern & large (2200 square feet), 3 bedroom 2.5 bathrooms with AC in all the rooms & living area. This quiet, modern, glass-walled, the villa is bright, very spacious, airy and located just 20 steps from the crystal blue ocean waters edge. This villa is perfect for ocean lovers & particularly divers, as we are less than 70 steps form Dive friends Bonaire; yellow submarine, the island flag ship dive center. There is a large pool located in the back of the Villa.

Mariska our Property Managers, will get in touch with you prior to arrival for a perfect check-in.
She can meet you at the airport unless you prefer to get the key in the locked box by the door at the villa. Mariska, once you arrive at the villa will explain how to use the air conditioning, appliances, safe and will give you a 10% discount voucher form dive friends bonaire next door, and give you her contact info so you can reach her during your stay via whats app, for restaurant reservation or any other issue that may arise.

Inside, the villa is bright with sunlight permeating the main living room and front porch, lots of air flowing, clean and modern, cool stone floors, leather couches, TV, and wood table accenting the granite kitchen. The Villa has 3 bedrooms set up with queen sized beds. Since an additional single bed ca be installed in the master bedroom, you can sleep 7 in 4 beds. A baby crib and high chair are available. The washing machine is inside the spacious living area.

There are 2.5 bathrooms. The master bedroom has its own private complete bathroom. The second largest complete bathroom is shared, communicating with the middle room and the third larger room. Both bathrooms have walk-in showers. There is a 3rd separate toilet.

There is also an outdoor shower on the patio for rinsing after a swim or dive. The hammock & rinse sinks are very appreciated form our divers community.

Dive Friends, a PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Center that caters to divers of every skill level and age, is less than 50 meters away. As a resident of our villa, you will enjoy a 10% discount on diving services. Of course, you may also step out of the villa and go straight into the ocean for breathtaking shore diving right out of your front door! The house reef is called something special.

You will enjoy a nice welcome basket upon arrival, there is coffee & creamer for the first few days as well as toilet paper. There is basic body soap, shampooing, dish soap and a few pods for the laundry as well.


The sea life is amazingly diverse right in front of the house and fish can be fed by hand in just 4 feet of water! If you swim 35 meters out from the shore of the house, the bottom drops off quite fast and turns into a wall dive pretty quickly!

Magnificent soft hued sunsets are the evening norm. The quality of the light is magical in Bonaire & can be enjoyed from the patio with a glass of wine.

If you like eating fresh local fish, just walk a 100 meters down to the fishing docks and befriend a local fisherman.

The front patio view is fantastic just few boats on moorings and pastel colored sunsets, all framed by coconut trees with the backdrop of Bonaire’s white beached, uninhabited Klein Island.

For a few dollars a local will ferry you across the 1000 meter wide Bay to Klein Island where you can lazily beach comb & explore its desolate and untouched white sandy beaches.

For the kids, there is a pool behind the Villa, and the beach in front of the house has no surf, (it’s the leeward side of the island) and no strong current to fight as well.

For exploring the island, a rental car or truck, quad, scooter or bikes can be rented to enjoy the warm sunshine and predominant trade winds. We usually rent trucs from Avis they have great price for ours guests please mentioned that you are guest at villa trepanier or bonaire property rentals BV Scooters are safe as no one drives very fast and there is virtually no traffic, and no traffic lights on the island.

The vrbo satellite location is a tad inaccurate as the villa is right on the ocean (see Google Earth). And 50 meters south of dive friends bonaire yellow submarine.

For windsurfers, wingfoilers and windfoilers, Lac Bay is a 20-minute ride from the Villa. One of the best locations in the world to get your ride windsurfing. Bonaire’s Lac Bay produces many of the top pro windsurfers on the planet. Lac Bay’s azure clear water, flat and shallow, along with its friendly white sandy bottom and famously consistent sea breezes, make it the ideal place to perfect your jibes and freestyle moves. That’s why it's called Jibe City.

You may also enjoy kitesurfing and renting SUP’s (stand up paddle boards) for exploring Lac Bay. Every time we go on the water, we see amazing new representatives of the diverse collection of wildlife in the ocean.

The majority of the island is undeveloped with the north end protected as a national park. The island is home to wild donkeys, goats, iguanas & flamingos which have been surviving on the islands since it was first “discovered” (while inhabited by local Indians) by the Spanish over 500 years ago. When you drive around, make sure to bring leftovers and feed the wild donkeys and goats roaming about.

Bonaire is one of the safest islands in the Caribbean. It is peaceful and the antithesis of a tourist trap, unlike many other islands.
