The VRBO allowed us to hit all of our vacation goals - near the ocean and beach, away from the big city, and near enough to an excellent restaurant for the last night!!! My favorite part was that we could swim, sunbathe, snorkel and walk on the beach from our condo!

We would stay here again. This was perfect for our family of 3 adults traveling for a wedding. We walked the beach morning and night and saw sea turtles! We also loved the drive from Honolulu - very pretty! The breeze moved through the unit keeping us comfortable and we enjoyed the lanai daily.

Beachfront Beauty

Our daughter and her family live nearby; we rented here to enjoy the beach and pool during her spring break. We had a wonderful time.

Well-Equipped and Steps to Beach!

We enjoyed our stay in this well-equipped, super clean condo! The beautiful beach was just steps away and the lanai, where we spent most of our time, was very relaxing. We would definitely stay here again!

Relaxing stay on the east side!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Oahu! The unit was very clean and comfortable, and it was fun to have the beach right down the hill. It was fun to go snorkeling on that beach and to see turtles, and to have a well-maintained pool to swim in as well. Communication with the host was easy and quickly responded to!

Loved the location. Loved the beach, meeting “Harry” () and pals, snorkeling, the food trucks. However, our room, on the second floor was not ideal. The openness of the view was restricted by the balcony overhang. I had to go down to the beach to see the moon and treetops! it’s position directly above the pool was noisy due an irritating electric motor sound.
We thoroughly enjoyed all the food trucks.

Wonderful condo. Great relaxing area.

The windward side of the island is the way to go. There is still plenty to do and see. The beach is awesome and being a private beach is a big plus. You are guaranteed to see turtles on the beach. Best time is 1 to 2 hours after the sun goes down.

We will return

Besides the gorgeous view, and the beach and ocean, being right out our door, the condo provided very comfortable furniture and bed. We found the location is away from the hustle and bustle of more crowded resort areas but still within short drives to whatever we needed. We will return.

Condo was very clean and well stocked with comfortable furniture and bed. The beach was calm for swimming and we saw multiple turtles. If you sleep hot, this might not be best choice for you - bed was extremely comfortable and the trade winds are good, but the conduit for creating this wind through the bedroom is a large floor to ceiling window that is directly on the main walkway to other condos; this hinders the feeling of intimacy and privacy in the bedroom and is not a feature shown in the pictures so something to keep in mind.

Although the condo is under extensive exterior repairs, our end of the condo was not being repaired. The inside of condo is as pictured, with basic amenities. Since there is no a/c we appreciated the many fans that kept the condo cool. The views of the ocean are amazing and we loved the sunrises. There are a few local food trucks close and the Crouching Lion restaurant is awesome. We were looking for quiet and remote and this condo was perfect.

Nicely decorated. Perfect location-short drive to North Shore attractions! Stocked with everything needed for stay, including beach gear, cooler and eating in. Bed rests well. Easy access to direct beachfront with gorgeous sunrise views. Although no AC, there are multiple fans and a breeze off of the ocean. Host was quick to respond. Clear instructions on checking in for key. Carts available to assist with load and unloading. Safe area, but pleasantly surprised of roaming security at night. Highly recommend!

One big takeaway was no screen door for the lanai. It is warm and with no AC it would have been nice to have the slider open. Some of furnishings could use updating such as blanket used on the sofa bed and the mattress on the sofa. The view was wonderful. Location was such that you have to drive to dine or whatever. Once construction is complete it will be nice.
